The next morning, I was woken up by the sound coming from the kitchen. It seemed like someone was cooking.

Rubbing my sleepy eyes, I walked out of the bedroom and saw my mother and Weldon preparing breakfast. They looked so harmonious as if they were mother and son.

This man is so good at acting!

My mother glanced at me and asked, "How did you wake up so late? Weldon has been busy cooking all morning."

"I..."

Before I could finish my sentence, Weldon interrupted me and said, "She must be tired from work. More sleep will help her recover quickly."

"Eliza is spoiled rotten by you and she's getting lazy."

Then, I saw my mother look admiringly at Weldon with loving eyes.

Gosh! I really can't stand it anymore.

After washing up, I looked at the food on the table and couldn't help but take a bite.

"Yes! It's this smell, Mom's smell."

"I made it."

Weldon said calmly, rendering me speechless.
