The Drama Queen Couple

After dinner, I went to the garage to get my car. Weldon followed me out and began to speak in a sarcastic tone.

"Eliza, I didn't know that you were so good at acting before."

"Your acting skills are even better than mine. You would definitely become the Oscar winner if you were an actor."

With a smile on his face, Weldon put on his sunglasses, opened the car door, and sat in the driver's seat. "Let's go. Where are you going? I'll drive you there to make them more certain that we're a loving couple."

After I got into the car, he glanced at me and said, "You blurted it out when you called me 'Hubby'. So, you must have often addressed other guys that way, right?"

Though he made it sound like he was just asking about it casually, I knew that he was testing me from the look in his eyes.

"It's just a form of address. What's the big deal?"

"That's right. You're really wild."

Weldon fell silent. It was so quiet in the car that the atmosphere was a little strange.
