Katleah got dressed early and prepared to go down the stairs. She didn't sleep until morning because she was thinking about her dream. It's like she was there in that scene, but she can't explain to herself why she can't get the name Amarah out of her mind." She stroked the necklace she was wearing; why did she see her necklace in her dream? Could it be a big part of her past? She couldn't wait to talk to the man who had called. When Don Philip called her, she was just at the door to exit the Mansion.
"Katleah, where are you going? Why don't you have breakfast first?" he pleases her.
Katleah felt embarrassed and went to eat in the dining room.
Marie pushed Katleah's plate violently onto the table and said, "I'll eat later, dad, I've lost my appetite."
"Marie!, Don't be impolite. Please get back!" Even after Don Philip yelled at his daughter, she didn't seem to hear him. "I apologize for my daughter's behavior. She may be unable to accept the fact that her older brother is already married."
"Don't worry, uncle; I understand."
"Just call me dad, Katleah, because you're Marco's wife."
'Ahem, yes, d-daddy, "She replied.
"I'll be honest with you, Katleah. I'll admit that I still don't believe there's love in the air between the two of you and my son. Within the month I gave him, she had found a woman to marry. I'd like to ask you a question. Did you and Marco discuss getting married solely because of me?"
His question caught her off guard. She's not sure if she'll admit it, but it's better to be honest, right?
"We actually had a conversation at first, dad, but now we both admit that we love each other."
"Nonsense!... in such a short period of time? Let's say you're in love now, but why did you agree to marry him when you have no idea if he truly loves you? Does this imply that you have a personal reason for wanting to marry my son?"
"I love your son, and even though it's hard to believe, I know for myself that I married him because I love him."
I'm not trying to be judgmental here, Katleah; I want to leave my son with someone who will love and care for him as much as I do. Marco always felt like he was missing out on my love and attention without a mother figure. I don't want it to happen that you'll abandon him as well one day." Philip spoke with zeal.
"Don't worry, dad; I understand what you're saying. But I hope you believe that I genuinely love Marco and that I will never abandon him, no matter what."
After talking to Katleah, Don Philip felt a warmth in his heart he hadn't felt in a long time. He scrutinized her, looking her in the eyes as she spoke, and realized she was serious about what she was saying.
"Well, I trust your promises, because if I find out that you're just cheating on my son, I won't think twice about taking you with me in the last days of my life. When will I have grandchildren, by the way?"
"Uho! Uho!" she exclaimed, reaching for the water and swallowing it whole. Philip's direct question nearly choked her. She now understands where Marco got his directness because they are identical father and son. Why do they ruin her moment every time he eats?
"Ahhhmmm... Having children is not in Marco and my plans, dad. It could be more dangerous for us if I'm pregnant and he hasn't yet apprehended his enemies. He's giving me medication to prevent me from becoming pregnant."
"Look at that man; he knows how badly I want grandchildren. Before I die, I can at least see and play with them. He is 25 years old and recently married, but he had no intention of getting you pregnant. When that child returns home, he will see."
"Dad, Marco has a reason because our enemies want to kill us, and we don't want our child to get involved." But once he's settled everything, we'll give you a lot of grandchildren," she joked.
Philip took a deep breath as he realized he was one of the reasons his son's life was in danger, and now even his wife was involved.
******************************
Katleah walked quickly into the BGC Stopover Restaurant. At the very end of it, she saw two men sitting side by side. One is thirty-five years old, and the other is, she seems to know his old companion. Suddenly, the pounding got louder in her heart, and she walked slower and slower until they finally came face to face.
When Ellie ensured that her female boss was sitting, she sat at the other table while checking the whole area. She didn't worry outside because there were many elite warriors on guard who were hiding nearby. The important thing now is, his boss's wife is safe, because their boss will kill them if something terrible happens to the wife she is guarding."
Meanwhile, Katleah looked at the older man sitting in front of her. "Grandpa, aren't you the old man who passed out in Forbes Park? Why are you here?"
Tearfully, the older man raised his head and faced Katleah. She had just entered through the door a while ago, and he couldn't stop himself; he wanted to hug her granddaughter; he looked precisely like Arah, his bereaved daughter. He sniffed before speaking. "Katleah, I went with Mr. Morris.. so I can talk to you."
Katleah's eyebrows met, "What do you mean? Do you know anything about my true personality?"
The older man took the old photos out of his wallet and gave them to her. "Look closely at those pictures, Katleah, that's where you'll find out about your past."
Katleah picked them up and looked at them carefully. She couldn't believe that they looked alike with a beautiful woman in the pictures who was probably the same age as her when it was taken and was wearing the same necklace as her. In one of the pictures, the face of the first woman is the same, but she is carrying a three-year-old child.
When she was little, she immediately took the pictures from her wallet and compared them to the photos of the woman with the child. She didn't realize the gradual shedding of her tears when she confirmed that the two children resembled each other in the pictures. Her blurry eyes looked at the older man as if asking a question.
Harry understood this immediately. "My daughter and granddaughter are in that picture, Katleah." That child is Amarah, and we have been looking for him for 18 years. You and Amarah are the same person, and this DNA is the proof" he explained directly.
Katleah's chest felt like it was going to explode at what she heard. "Grandpa.. are you my real Grandpa? But where are my mom and dad?" Harry was about to respond to her when she suddenly wailed in pain.
Ahhh! my head hurts!" she suddenly screamed and grabbed her hair. Her vision went dark for a few minutes, and she immediately fell. Fortunately, her Grandfather caught her immediately.
"Katleah! Katleah!" Harry frantically called his granddaughter, but he had lost consciousness. Ellie paled when she saw that the female boss was unconscious. She looked at Mr. Morris. ", what are we going to do? Sir Marco will kill me if he finds out what happened. It's your fault, if you didn't force me to give you Ma'am Katleah's number, she wouldn't have met you today." Ellie blamed her brother.
"Sis, that's why I'm thanking you, right? Just keep this a secret. He might be overreacting. Mr. Morris pleaded to his sister.
"Wait, wait, what are you two muttering there? My granddaughter needs to be taken to the hospital." Harry reprimanded them in a panic.
"But how can we get her to the hospital? The boss has many elite warriors who are waiting outside. They are just hiding. Surely they will report to our boss if we take his wife out in this situation."
"Wait a minute! I'll call our Family Doctor so he can come here; she must wake up."
While waiting for the doctor, they made Katleah lie on a couch inside a private room of that restaurant. Soon the doctor came to examine her.
