EPISODE 33

      I walked away,I really want to go far away from them I want to stay away from all this, I didn't know falling in love was this hard but everything was fine until she came and now it all seems like am tearing into millions of pieces. The truth is that I really can't compete with her in anyway even if I want to fight for it. She's rich and pretty, but am not, secondly Preston's parents are close to hers but me I have only my mom who isn't that Influencial. Jollie stop this I said to myself. Right now the best thing to do is back off and making my feelings for him totally zero, right now I need to focus on my goal. I said as I sat down by the fountain.

I tried every means possible to stay away all through the night, my eyes were already falling, I waited till it was almost seven in the morning because I guess chole hasn't left yet. I hid by the corner of a piller as I used my sweater to cover my face,i watched her leave the room at exactly 8:am, finally I breathed out.

   But unfortunately as I was about coming out from my hiding iris caught me red handed now I can't even lie because she caught me in the act.

"Jollie what happened to you, God you're cold" she exclaimed as she held my hand

"Shhh!, iris" I said stopping her from shouting

"You didn't sleep in your room, you slept out right" she asked but I kept quiet.

"What happened tell me everything" she said really serious now

"Umm chole came to the room and the bed didn't fit" I said trying to make it sound really simple

"Then why didn't you come to me or better still call me" she asked

"I didn't want to disturb you" I replied

"Wow! " she exclaimed

"Iris please I don't want anybody to know about this and besides am used to this, I used to stay up with mom to do the laundry for customers" I said trying to sound convincing.

"Go get dressed you're sleeping on my room" she offered

"THANKS" I said as I walked towards the door I was obviously shaking.

I met preston at the door when I entered "good morning" I said walking away not allowing him to answer, from now on I'll try my best to stay away from him for.

  I entered into the washroom as I bathed, after which I wore a big hoodie, gloves socks and pants to keep warm, it was really cold last night.

I ignored him sitting on the couch as he continued staring at me when a knock came on the door, many taughts ran through my head but I turned out to be iris, she brought food for me.

She walked straight to me ignoring preston she didn't even say hi it was very visible she was angry for I don't really know what reasons, she came directly to the bed.

"You're okay right" she asked "yeah" I nodded my head.

She opened the pack wow it smells to amazing she even fed me before laying me down bon the bed, then she felty temperature

"DON'T worry I'll book a room for you alright" she said as she kissed my head then she left the room, I tried closing my eyes but they were too heavy, I tried again before I could finally fall asleep...

               "PRESTON'S POV"

   What the hell is chole doing here,

that bitch she spoilt my time with jollie and why is she even here but she wasn't invited. Now this is already becoming a very big deal for me, firstly I tried figuring why jollie was acting all moody and she's been avoiding me, but the thing with jollie she can't tell me how she feels, I even tried asking her but she still wouldn't say a single word.

Last night was like hell I couldn't sleep I felt restless all through, now only god knows where she's at, I tried calling but it wasn't even going through, this whole drama is becoming complicated.

After hours of waiting for her she finally walked in I was damn worried that I was even standing at the door, she greeted me even without letting me respond she walked away.

I seriously don't know where to start from, how do I go about this. I just sat as I watched her then iris came in, I could pick up a little of what they were saying I guess she doesn't want me to know about it. When she left and jollie slept far enough, I walked towards her and squat besides her.

I held her hand as I kissed it "an sorry I didn't mean any of this" I said still holding her hand, she opened her half closed eyes.

"I don't know what you're sorry about " she replied

"An sorry I left you out there all alone" I replied

"But you didn't do anything wrong I was the one who decided to stay outside it's not your fault" she replied

"That's the more reason why am sorry" I said again

"Look am just a maid on contract I really don't have a choice and it isn't proper for you to be apologizing for what you didn't do" she said almost shattering my heart

"If that's what you're sorry about it's okay" she said as she looked at me before withdrawing her hands from mine, then she turned to face the other side

"JOLLIE am really sorry" I said but she kept quiet. I guess she really isn't in the mood to talk.

  I went back to the couch as I sat down I watched her sleep,after a while I left the room to make an important call so it won't disturb her then I was back but she was still sleeping. I wonder if she's hungry, men I promised her not to order again but I just he to, I picked the intercall as I placed an order it was brought to the room shortly. I told a guard to receive the package for me because I don't know if she's a fan or not and jollie's sleeping in my bed.

The guard entered as he set everything on the dinning table after which he left. I sat there waiting for her to wake up.

                 " CHOLE'S POV"

   I don't get what preston likes in that girl she's poor for all I know, as I entered the room I met him almost Calduling with her I can't take this, I don't know what's wrong with him. he even call of the engagement our parents set up for both of us, I really can't accept defect.

"Why do you hate me this much" I asked him

"I don't hate you I don't just want you" he replied

"But I love you" I replied almost in tears

"But I don't feel Same way towards you" he said not even looking at me

"You like jollie right" I asked feeling the pains in my heart

"I can't answer to your question and please stop interogating me" he said again

"But she isn't your class, she's poor she's dirty" I replied with disgust

"My choice isn't your problem now please get out" he said dragging me towards the door

"I'll do anything just to make sure I be with you" I shouted

"Then get ready to die" she said as he slam the door on my face.

My tears dropped non stop. I still ain't going to give up on him just like that I'll make sure she pays "I said to myself.

First I need to Make her believe that we're together so the next morning I stood by the door when I saw her coming I held the door knob then I arranged my clothes well tieing my nightie, I could see how vulnerable she is as her eyes were already liting up, I smiled to myself  as I walked away.

                     " JOLIE'S POV"

   I opened my eyes I saw preston still sitted there, what's he doing but all my senses were blocked by the sweet aroma that filled the room, my stomach rumbled, I looked at him cause I taught he might hear it, thank goodness he didn't.

"Jollie you're awake" I heard his face already close to mine I shifted a bit, then I closed my eyes thight like I was struggling with sleep, then I felt his lips on my eyes but I didn't open them until I felt his lips on mine I was forced to open my eyes. His eyes shown on mine.

"I bought food" he said as he examined my face

"An hungry" I finally said standing up and walking straight to the dinning table I don't want to have any form of eye contact with him

"You ordered" I asked as I saw the food

"Emm I taught you would be needing it" he replied. I picked my spoon as I began to eat, while he just watched me.

"Ain't you going to eat" I asked when he wasn't eating, that's when he picked up his spoon and started eating. After eating I disposed them as I stood up.

"Em jollie I was thinking if you could follow me to the beach" he asked

"Am sorry but I have thinking to do and iris already asked me" I replied.

   Just then there was a knock on the door, I didn't bother to open it so preston did and chole entered, I looked at her then back to what I was doing.

"BABY I want to visit the shopping mall, can you take me there" she asked in a baby's voice

"Am sorry but am busy" he replied, she held his hands as she came closer to him.

"I really want to visit the shopping mall" she said again, I looked at the kind of contact she was making with him, he shifted back when he saw my eyes and I regretted it that instant.

The door opened again this time it was iris, she looked at them then back to me

"Are you done" she asked "almost" j replied dragging my bag out, she helped me rolled my bag

"She's leaving" chole asked but didn't get a reply "then am moving in" she said excitedly. Preston couldn't say a single word and I avoided eye contact with his as we walked out of the room.

   I entered into my new room, it's perfect and a bit far from Preston's, I dropped my bag as I sat on the bed

"You're okay right" she asked

"Yeah sure it's all for the best" I replied faking a smile

"I'll order for you" she said again

"Iris I don't know how to say thank you, you've always been taking care of me since I came to this school you're almost like my mom already am really greatful" I said really sincere

"Come on stop it, and besides you missed the whole day you slept like a log all through" she said again causing me to smile.

"I'll leave you now am really tired westly had been all over me" she said and I laughed.

It was almost 8:30pm when I came out again, I headed straight to the beach, I stoo9 there as I enjoyed the view, I didn't see anyone today I guess they were really busy, I was replying to Kai's text when someone joined me.

I looked up to see clearly to see who it was because the lights were dim "preston" j tried walking away but he held my hands.

"Why did you move out" he asked "nothing really" i replied

"Why are you been secretive" he asked again

"Am not being secretive, an just been me" I replied again

Did I do anything wrong "he asked again

" am tired I need to sleep" I replied but he held me tighter

"I asked you to come to the beach with me but you totally ignored me" he said

"I did not, iris already asked me and I told you" I replied really getting tried of this whole question and answer stuff

"You've been avoiding me" he said again as he held my face with both hands "I don't know what's going on with you, but I don't want this jollie, I need my jollie back, please bring back my jollie" he said as he brought his lips down and kissed me sweetly, we finally broke the kiss but I still wanted more this is the more reason I don't want to be close to him again. He looked at me for a while before wak8 away leaving me all by myself, I stood there for a while after while I went back inside too I entered my room jumped on the bed as I toozed around the bed..

                       "NEXT DAY"

  I woke up late since I didn't have anything doing I had a long bath and wore a gown, I parked my hair into a ponytail. Kai texted me "come to the beach" it reads.

I walked straight to the beach I saw him under a big palm tree with his cute sibenan husky it had a leach on him. He smiled as I approached him

"You're beautiful" he said as I reached for the leach

"Thanks, so what did you name him" I said patting the dog

"Weez" he replied

"Hey weez" I called and he laughed "do you think he hears you"he asked

" yeah, I'll teach him"I replied collecting the leach completely as I took the dog around the beach teaching him tricks, after a while I went back to kai.

   "See he knows me now"I said as I showed him some skills. " paw"I said to the dog, he raised his paw and gave it to me "roll" I said and he did and stood up

"Wow jollie you're really a good teacher" he said as he stood up removing the leach "let's run a bit" he said "weez go"he said as we started running around with weez chasing after us. We laughed talked and played, we even made a sand castle but weez destroyed it, I looked up looking at the other side to check of were the only ones there because I saw kimber, and iris here not too long ago, but my eyes met with Preston's he was with chole, he was just staring at us the whole time.

" let's go somewhere else "I whispered into Kai's ear, he stood up and we walked away.

I went to the swimming pool to release myself, I watched as millie and kaira dived into the pool, someone came too she stood beside me " I want to speak with you"she said, I stood up and followed her to a conner.

"I just want to let you know one thing, please stay away from preston, he can never be yours so stop pushing yourself all over him, you're not in same class as him even if he wants you after you've slept on his bed he would still dump you anyway, you have no right over him you're making him feel guilty and I don't like it. Mom and his mom are friends, I guess you really don't know anything about him. I shouldn't even waste my voice on someone like you because you're just a fling to pass the time with after he uses you he would dump you, do you even think he can end up with someone like you, you're just a low class hiding under the wings of iris and westly. Yeah and before I forget am inviting you to our wedding my his mom already set our wedding for us, they are planning on us getting married maybe at the end of next month, I hope have made myself clear" she said and walked away.

I stood there unable to move it's like I was dripped into a freezing water..  ....
