EPISODE 24

   I pressed the door bell but it wasn't opening so I took my keys and opened it, thank goodness I brought my keys with me, nobody was in the house so I quickly dropped my bag straight to the kitchen, since iris said she misses me and she couldn't eat so well since the last time I cooked for her.

I settled for grilled fish, rice and stew and fried turkey to go with it. I also made chips and dip. God I am Exuseted, I spent and hour making them. I took the food warmer to the table to charge it so when she comes back she could just turn it on and place her food so it would be hot again in case she comes home late.

I took a quick shower and laid on the bed, Preston didn't call so I think he doesn't need me. I don't know how long I slept but I felt someone joined me on the bed, I opened my eyes only to see iris hugging me.

"You're back" I said "yeah miss you" she said as she held me tight.

"Westly and Preston are here and they already finished the food" she said and I stood up.

I walked into the sitting room only to see westly and Preston eating the turkey "westly!! " I called "emmm" he said chewing on the meat.

"I didn't make that for you" I said "it's really delicious" he replied "it was for iris" I said again "thanks" he replied,

I looked towards Preston who was still eating the grilled fish. I walked back to the kitchen I took the remaining once I left there, I warm them and set them on a tray as u took them to the other table.

"Baby is that for me, thanks" westly said as he stood up to pick it "don't you there" i said narrowing my eyes, he laughed as he picked up another turkey.

"Emm Jolie can you please package these for me am taking them home, they are more tasty than the once I order. Preston didn't say a single word, iris sat down and began to eat, I guess she was enjoying the meal, she had up to five turkey on the bowl and two grilled fish too.

I brought two separate packs as I put the remaining five turkey and grilled fish on westly table, Preston still wasn't saying anything " thanks hon"westly said "emm Jolie can I have a park too" iris said as she put hers into it.

"It's getting late let's go" Preston finally said "you want to take her away from me again" iris said faking sobbing, she stood up and we entered my room.

I picked the biggest teddy westly got for me and some other smaller once like two, iris carried my bag while I put the biggest teddy across my back then I held the remaining once.

"So you still kept yours" westly said as soon as he saw the teddy. "I could not take it along with me the last time" I replied Preston was just staring at me the whole time.

"Let's go" he said again as we walked outside to his car, westly entered his with iris I guess millie, kaira, and Skylar went to there seperate houses, the guards opened the door for me and I entered, Preston entered too from the other side.

I had a hard time fixing the teddy in the car, Preston offered to help, just as we tried putting it up well my head hit his, out eyes met, I tried removing my head but he held my neck and pulled me closer crushing his lips on mine, my eyes shown. He pulled away and did the seatbelt for the teddy then he picked his phone.

"What Preston just kissed me again" I screamed at myself, I faced the window course my face was already getting red.

We took a different route I really don't know where we're going, we entered the hotel what he didn't tell me he was coming here, I looked at him "what are we doing here" I asked "I want to pick up something and maybe you should get back to your duties" he said and stepped out.

I carefully came out of the car then I went to daniel "hey handsome" I called he looked up and saw me "Jolie to get changed boss is here" he said.

I looked at my outfit shit, just as I was about leaving yin appeared from no where "too late miss boss already saw you when you entered" she said.

"Ma'am am really sorry, I taught i was on my uniforms" I said pleading "and why are you coming by this time" she asked, shit I forgot I had to go to work "ma'am I overslept, I promise it won't happen again" i pleaded again.

"Sorry Jolie but you are needed in the CEO's office" she said as I followed her, we entered the office only to meet Preston sitting on the table.

"What took you so long"he asked yin while I took my time giving him scornful looks " she was explaining herself to me"yin replied

"And you, what's your name again" he asked me "Jolie" I replied "yin you see, she's disrespectful, she couldn't even answer properly she couldn't put sir" he said "sir am really sorry" yin replied "yin she would be suspended for two months, take note and don't let anyone else here again, I don't want another rude person into this place" he said sounding strict "yes sir" yin replied.

I just stood there shocked, I couldn't say a single word, I don't know if my words were trying to be processed or something. "You may leave yin" he said and she went out, when she left he came down from the table and strolled towards me but I shifted back he grabbed my hand and pullede closer to him.

"Won't you thank me" he said looking at my eyes "thank you for what, I should say thank you for suspending me from my job" I said really feeling hurt, "I actually did it for you so you could be free on new years eve" he said as he pushed my hair back Ward's.

Oh now I finally understand what he meant by that "so won't you thank me" he asked "to hell with your thanks" I replied as I tried removing my hands from his grips but he held on tighter and dragg5 me to the table he made me sit on the table while he trapped me with both hands.

"What do you want" I asked but he kept quiet, he brought his face closer and kissed me, I had a hard time trying to fight the sweet sensation that was filling my head, then finally I opened up and he roomed my lips as he tried directing my tongue, he sucked into my lips as he bit me a little, then he pulled away and looked at my eyes.

"You have to promise me that you won't leave me no matter what" he said really serious but I couldn't say anything.

"I want you to stay with me this festive period" he said again, since mom said I shouldn't come home maybe I could just stay with him if not for anything but his illness. I nodded and he kissed my forehead.

"You should get going, meet me at the private parking lot" he said as he brought me down and went out.

"HEY, I got suspended for two months" I told daniel "I'll miss you" he said "you must always remember you call okay" he said "yeah" I replied "I would get going now. Then I left for the private parking lot, I entered the car and we drove off home.

As soon as we got home I dropped my bag and went straight to Preston's room to get his drugs, since he has eaten I brought it down stairs for him to take, I meet my teddy there, I brought water too.

" Preston"I called and he looked up, I gave him the water and his drugs, when I was satisfied he took them, I took the drugs back then I came back to meet him.

"It's time for you to take your rest" I said and tried holding his hands for him to stand up. "Am busy" he said as he removed his hand and he was typing on his laptop "no you have to rest" I said as I closed the laptop. I dragged him up and took him upstairs.

He laid his head on the bed and dragged me along, I sat down and he put his head on my laps then he closed his eyes....

  After sometime I guess he slept off already, I couldn't sleep because I slept in the afternoon and it was already a minute to twelve an d it's already new years day, I closed my eyes and made a wish"

"Happy new year,I won" I texted kai, he texted me back "so what do you want" he asked "em anything" I replied,we talked a lot but I still had to sleep,then finally I dropped the phone.preston was still sleeping peacefully,I played games but I got tired soon enough,I dropped my phone close to the bedside lamp.

I touched his hair immediately my hands touched it he shifted a bit like he was gonna wake up, so I removed my hand so he won't wake up after which I carefully placed his head back on the pillow,I covered him with the duvet as I left the room for mine.

I entered and slumped on the bed but it was almost impossible to sleep,so I picked my phone watched online videos but got board soon enough.i stood up to use the laptop, I pulled the chair out and sat on it. I listened to online classes took down notes I wasn't board because it was fun, I practiced some works.

I came across a medical doctor talking about somnambulism, I clicked on the link, the doctor actually talked about how to take care of a somnabulist patient and so on, I made sure I took down every detail, lots of milk, vegetables, most importantly enough rest, they shouldn't be stressed out and so on, it was so much that I fell asleep.....
