He lowered her onto her bed before going to her bedside table to fill her a glass of water.
When he did that, he handed the glass to her and she carefully took it from his hold before gulping down the entire content.
And while she did that, Theophilus quietly watched her keenly.
"Do you need more?" He asked since she emptied the glass.
"No, thank you," she said in a low voice as she stared at him. He took the glass cup from her and dropped it back on the table before coming to sit beside her on the bed, on her left.
Silence fell as they stared into space, no one spoke a word but their silence said a lot.
They were very aware of each other's presence but Treasure's senses were ten times higher.
Ever since she set foot in Theophilus' home, she had never looked at him with longing.
