Chapter 8

The next morning I woke up and got ready for work. I went straight to work and started my early duty which was cleaning the tables and chairs with sweeping.

Business was booming as customer when I say customer I mean high status people came to eat there. I served their foods they ordered and went back to the kitchen.

Jenny pass me the egg sauce Lina said.

I gave her the egg sauce and checked the time. lt was 1:20 pm. l need to leave now.

Lina please cover up for me today. I'm going to see someone

Sure but please help me serve the table upstairs. I need to serve someone else she said.

l went to take the tray the food and wine with glass was kept in and went upstairs. As l was serving the dish to the man. I noticed that at the other end there was a man seated at the end corners and quite muscular men were standing beside him.

I only catch a glimpse of the man side of face and he looked so handsome even beautiful. I was mesmerized by his beauty. l wonder so a beautiful creature like this still exists in the world. If this could be beautiful l wonder how his face would be maybe l will just faint seeing it.

l didn't know I had mistakenly poured the wine on the table. I quickly apologize to the man and cleaned the table. I could feel eyes on me and I knew that perfect creature was looking at me. l shamelessly went away after cleaning it.

Alex POV

lt was normal his face could make people go crazy so he wasn't surprised she made mistake but looking at her I felt something. I didn't know why but I drove the thoughts and continued working on my laptop.

Jenny POV

I ran downstairs and just wanted to hide myself in a corner. Why? Jenny you stupid girl has made mistake infront of him but I'm not always moved by any beauty but why was l doing it when I saw him. Maybe it's because he's far handsome than that Alex Grande of a thing.

I left the restaurant after packing up and got to the Tanwan Chinese restaurant. Someone came to meet me and took me to where that lady was.

I'm sorry for coming late. I was busy at work l said in apologizing.

Just came here now so you don't have to apologise. Please seat she said.

I sat down. She called the waiter to serve us the food she ordered. I had never tasted chinese food before so I started eating.
