Jenny POV:
I stood there, frozen, as the stranger smiled at me. She was tall, with long, curly brown hair and piercing green eyes. She wore a white dress that accentuated her curves, and her high heels clicked on the pavement.
"I'm looking for Jenny." She said, her voice husky and confident.
I raised an eyebrow, unsure what to make of her. "I'm Jenny," I replied, my voice cautious.
Lydian's smile widened. "Great, I've been looking for you. May I come in?"
"Of course, please come in," I said, stepping aside to let her pass. The scent of her perfume wafted in as she entered with a tall, imposing guy who I assumed was her bodyguard.
I locked the gate behind them, the click of the latch echoing through the silence. We walked into the house, her eyes scanning every nook and cranny as if searching for something. I wondered what she wanted from me.
"What should I offer you?" I asked, gesturing to the dining table.
"Nothing, since you don't have anything rich people eat," she said with a smirk, sitting down in the plush chair.
I bristled at her tone but kept my cool. "I have Lobster Thermidor, served with a side of herb-infused rice," I said, trying to sound nonchalant.
Her eyes lit up. "You have that. Let me see them," she said, her voice dripping with curiosity.
I went to bring the dish out, the aroma of garlic and lemon filling the air as I set it down on the dining table. "Please come and eat," I said, trying to sound hospitable.
She stood up, her heels clicking on the floor, and went to sit in a dining chair. She tasted the lobster, her eyes widening in surprise. "Hmm, so delicious. This is magnificent," she said, her voice filled with genuine admiration.
I smiled, feeling a sense of pride. "Thanks, but who are you, if I may ask?" I asked, trying to sound casual.
She looked up, her eyes locking onto mine. "Sorry for not introducing myself. I'm Lydian, Alex Grande's girlfriend," she said, her voice dripping with possessiveness.
When she said girlfriend, my face suddenly changed. I felt a surge of anger, but I had to hide it and smile. "Oh, good to know. So why are you here?" I asked, trying to sound nonchalant.
She leaned forward, her eyes blazing with intensity. "I'm here because I want you to stay away from my man. Three days ago, a video was posted on social media of you and my boyfriend, and everyone started shipping you two together. I'm not happy because I can't believe my boyfriend could look at another woman when I'm not there, so I decided to come meet you and here I am."
I felt a surge of indignation but kept my cool. "Well, you don't have to bother yourself again. I've already done the necessary, so if that's it, you can leave now. I have something to do."
She stood up, her face twisted in anger. "Wow, you've got some attitude, girl," she said, her voice dripping with venom.
I stood my ground, my heart pounding in my chest. "I don't have any, and please leave. I've settled the case, so everyone thinks Mr. Alex and I are strangers," I said, trying to sound firm.
She sneered. "But how can I be sure you won't do that again?" she asked, her voice dripping with skepticism.
I shrugged. "Because he doesn't concern me. I'm here living my life, so why should I think of going back to meet or disturb him?" I said, trying to sound nonchalant.
She looked at me for a long moment before nodding. "Okay, that's true. What about you sign these documents, and you can permanently stay away from him?" she said, handing me the documents with a pen.
I read the documents, my eyes widening as I took in the contents. "Three million dollars will be given to you after signing the documents, and you must stay away from Alex Grande. If you go to court with Alex Grande, then you will be sued." I dropped the documents and pen, my hand shaking with indignation. "I'm not doing this," I said, my voice firm.
Lydian sneered at me. "You have to, or don't tell me you like my man," she said, her voice dripping with venom.
I stood my ground, my heart pounding in my chest. "I don't like him, and I'm not signing these rubbish documents. Lydian, you can't come and bribe me with some stupid money and bring nonsense documents for me to sign. I have given you my final say, so please leave."
Lydian's face twisted in anger. "Wow, this poor girl has wings now. Jenny, Jenny, if you know who you're messing with, you would have been begging me now. Now listen carefully and sign the documents, or else Posh will make you do it."
I shook my head, my mind racing. "Well, sorry, I can't sign it," I said, my voice firm.
Lydian's eyes flashed with anger. "Posh, give her a taste of my medicine," she said, her voice cold.
Lydian's eyes flashed with anger. "Posh, give her a taste of my medicine," she said, her voice cold.
Posh, the bodyguard, came towards me, his hands outstretched. But I was ready.
As Posh approached me, his massive frame looming over me, I could feel my heart racing with anticipation. But I didn't back down. I stood my ground, my eyes locked on his, my mind focused on the task at hand.
With a swift movement, I raised my leg high, my heel gleaming in the light. Posh, thinking I was just trying to intimidate him, sneered at me. But I was just getting started.
With precision and force, I brought my heel down on his forehead, the impact sending shockwaves through his body. He stumbled back, momentarily stunned, but he quickly recovered and charged at me.
I dodged his clumsy attack with ease, using my agility and quick reflexes to evade his grasp. As he stumbled past me, I seized the opportunity to strike again.
This time, I aimed for his groin, my heel connecting with a sickening thud. Posh let out a blood-curdling scream as he doubled over, clutching at his injured area.
But I wasn't done yet. With a swift kick, I sent him crashing to the floor, his massive body thudding against the ground. He lay there, writhing in agony, as I stood over him, my chest heaving with exertion.
My karate training had paid off, and I felt a surge of pride and satisfaction at having taken down the hulking bodyguard.
I turned to Lydian, my eyes blazing with intensity. "Should I show you the taste of my own medicine too?" I said, walking towards her.
I threw the heel at Posh's face and focused half my attention on Lydian. "Don't you dare touch me. What will you do? I know you will tell Alex. I will be waiting for him to come and do his worst, but for now, kindly leave my house."
Lydian's face twisted in anger, but she knew she was beaten. "Posh, you fool, let's go," she said, and Posh stumbled out of the house, holding his groin.
I stood outside, watching the car leave. I waved at them, a sarcastic smile on my face. "Thanks for coming. I really had a great time with you," I said, my voice dripping with sarcasm.
When the car drove off, I went inside and locked the gate, feeling a sense of satisfaction and relief wash over me.
