Chapter9:Hidden room

Emily's heart raced as she followed the ghostly woman through the winding hallways of Blackwood. They reached a door hidden behind a tattered tapestry, and the woman vanished into thin air.

Emily pushed the door open, revealing a small, dimly lit room. The air was thick with dust, and cobwebs clung to the corners. In the center of the room, an old trunk beckoned her.

As she lifted the lid, a faint whisper echoed through the room. "The truth is hidden within."

Emily's hands trembled as she rummaged through the trunk's contents. She found a stack of letters, tied with a faded ribbon. The letters were addressed to Sophia, and the sender's name was Alexander – the same man mentioned in Sophia's diary.
