CHAPTER 49

The big empty room was the only place where Lewis felt calm. He walked around looking at his new office; this was the place that his dad wouldn't dare order him around.

He's tried his best to please his dad but his dad was always thinking otherwise.

Slow music played and he sat gazing outside, the night was calm and everybody left living the city empty and voiceless… if wishes were horses,

They can't take that away from me by Lisa Stern field. His body laid effortlessly on the grey sofa, His tall body almost exhausting the poor furniture.

 His tie was loose and you could see some of his manly chest hairs. His beautiful eyes were now closed in a peaceful manner, he almost looked cute.

In the peaceful room the door went wide open and a small swaying figure got in. Her small face was flushed, big eyes were moist and she had a silly expression on her face.

Who would dare badge in his office and spoil his peace,

"Joan?"

Outside Crystal tiptoed slowly as if to approach someone,

 "Got you,"

 "Geez, Crystal," Liam fell backwards and locked hateful at the woman in front of him. He never liked her since childhood; she was mean and pretended a lot. People like her were so dangerous you never know her moves.

"What do you want?"

"I know why you started working here." That was enough to startle Liam. This was supposed to be a secret mission but she always found ways to pock her big nose inside.

"If you know what's best for you shut up," Liam warned. He couldn't give a damn even if she was his sister. He had one mission, Get rid of intruders.

 "I know what's best, you guys getting me into the plan or else…"

 "Or else what… you tell on us, we all know that the old man never notices you that mean he will never believe you.

 Just wait and see, you people take me for a weakling I'll make sure to ruin all your plans," She yelled at the leaving Liam.

Her parent never acknowledged her, her school work was the best, she was obedient but all for nothing. This other side Lewis took all the attention. Back at home Liam also took her mom from her.

She had to do something that will not only shake her mom but Mr Well's.

 "You'll never know my next move."

Liam walked in a quiet corner, "Mom don't you think Crystal is all over the place?

"What are you bluffing about, she's not brave enough to interrupt," Natalie convinced at the other side. Crystal was stubborn but she knew ways to buy her off and that's what she was to do.

"Just so you know, anyone to interfere with my work is same as dead," After that the line ends dead.

 Natalie looked at the phone dump folded, Liam was unpredictable and he could do anything as long as it was to benefit him.

 "It's a pleasure to see you here Miss Wells."
