88. Here comes the sun

It's Tuesday morning at Royal Woods elementary school, Lucy is at Haiku's locker. "So how are your injuries?" Haiku asked.

"They're healed, but I am a bit sore." Lucy replied.

"I hope you can still make it to the club's meeting?" said Haiku said.

"I should be able to." Lucy said. "But I got patrol later with Luna, Lincoln, Bobby, and Sam."

"That's a surprising team." Haiku comments.

"Even Lincoln was surprised by this team up." Lucy said.

Flashback- yesterday

"Ok so the team for tomorrow will be Luna, Lincoln, Lucy, Bobby and Sam." Lori told the gathered team. The five announced members looked at each other before looking at Lori before looking back at each other.

"So it's gonna be the five of us?" Lincoln asked.

"Yeah." Lori answered.

"A team of people who have very little interaction whatsoever." Lincoln said. "That sound about right?"

"Yeah pretty much." Lori said. Lincoln looks at the team he'd be working with and shrugs.

"Not gonna lie, I didn't see this coming." Lincoln said.

End flashback

"This does sound impressive." Haiku said as she and Lucy began to walk to classes.

"I know." Lucy said. "Sigh, this new system is still something we're getting used too. But Lori thinks this is the best way to track down the Terror Crew and our other enemies such as Xander and Jestor who is still out there along with Leonard Miller. We almost had Nuke and Candyman but we were tricked and they escaped. Still can't believe they helped Nuke."

"You have to be careful who you trust. The rest of your team needs to learn that." Haiku said.

"I know, I even told Lisa that she should have read Nuke's mind. But it never came to her." said Lucy.

"Well I guess you should be glad that Nuke didn't die." Haiku said. "However this is where we part. Farewell Lucy." She then walks into class.

"See you Haiku." Lucy said as she started walking to the third grade hall way. As she's walking she bumps into someone. "Sorry about that."

"It's good." The person said. This person was a girl who looked about nine years old with short hair that was similar to Luna's and was wearing a yellow t-shiet with a sun on the front of it along with jeans. "I actually wasn't paying attention either. I'm actually kinda lost. I'm new here."

"Um sure. Are you looking for your classroom?" Lucy asked.

"Yeah." The girl replied. "I'm looking for Ms. Rowe's classroom."

"Oh what a coincidence." Lucy said. "That's actually where I'm going. Would you like to join me?"

"Sure." The girl said. "Thanks."

"No problem." Lucy said. "My name is Lucy Loud."

"Diana Walker." The girl replied.

"I'm not usually a welcoming person. But welcome to Royal Woods." Lucy said.

"Oh thanks." Diana said.

"So when did you move here?" Lucy asked as they started walking to class.

"A couple days ago." Diana answered. "I registered for school when I moved here. Hey quick question. Are you related to Lincoln Loud the up and coming artist and Luna Loud the musician?"

"They are my older siblings, yes. I know Luna was on that talent seeking show, I'm guessing you heard about my brother news articles?" Lucy asked.

"Yeah, I heard about them and I'm impressed that he one his paintings in a museum at a young age." Diana said.

"I guess you're a fan of the arts." Lucy said. "While I don't personally believe Luna's music is really art, it makes her happy. I'm actually a poet. Or trying to be one."

"Really? That's so cool!" Diana said. "I'm actually trying to get into poetry myself."

"Well why don't you join the poetry club?" Lucy suggested. "We actually have a meeting after school."

"Yeah sure." Diana said. "I just gotta let my uncle know." This caught Lucy's attention.

"Your uncle?" Lucy questioned and Diana nodded.

"Yeah." She said. "I'm staying with him for a while. My parents are in Peru and my uncle just moved here from England so he offered to let me move in with him for as long as I needed too."

"Well the club is after school if you're interested." Lucy said as the two reached the classroom. "It's in Room 206."

"Alright thanks Lucy." Diana said.

They head into the classroom and take their seats as Mrs. Rowe comes in. "Good morning class." She says. "Now today we have a new student joining us today. Now would she like to come up and introduce herself to us?"

Diana walked up to the classroom to introduce herself. "Hi, I'm Diana Walker. I moved here from Arizona, I'm living with my uncle while my parents are in Peru." Diana introduced.

"That's great Diana." Mrs. Rowe said. "You can go sit back down." Diana heads back to her seat. "Now today we're gonna be learning about space and our first lesson will be about the Sun. Now can anyone tell me what the sun is?"

"Isn't a big ball of gas?" A boy asked and the classroom bursted in laughter.

"Well other than that." Mrs. Rowe said. "But it's the centre of our galaxy, not only a source of vitamin D, but also a source of solar power." Mrs. Rowe said.

"Sigh, I never liked the sunlight." Lucy said. "It hurts my eyes."

"I love the sun." Diana said. "Especially with how powerful it actually is. Especially when it's also extremely hot. Like 27 million degrees Fahrenheit!"

"My you know quite a bit Diana." Mrs. Rowe commented. "I'm impressed. Now who can tell me what the sun actually is besides a ball of gas?"

"Well the sun is also a star." Diana said. "Which also has magnetic activity and at times causes solar flares."

"Very good Diana." Mrs. Rowe said. "Now can anyone tell me what a supernova is?"

"A supernova is a powerful and luminous stellar explosion." Diana said. "It's caused when a star's mass becomes too much and it explodes."

"That's correct, Diana." Mrs. Rowe replied.

"Wow she must knows a lot about the sun." Lucy thought.

"Now let's move on." Mrs. Rowe said.

After school, Lucy is walking towards the poetry club. "Ok I'll go to poetry club and go out on patrol." Lucy said to herself as she reached the room.

She then hears someone talking around the corner. She peeks around and sees Diana talking on the phone. "Look I'm just trying some extracurricular activities uncle." There's silence before she starts again. "You're the one who said to try new things while I'm here and that's what I'm doing. Yes I know you're just looking out for me. I love you too uncle. Yeah we'll meet up later. Alright see you later. Bye." She hangs up her phone and then Lucy decides to make herself known.

"Everything ok?" Lucy asked out of nowhere startling the girl.

"Lucy, where you come from?" Diana asked.

"Oh that's something you need to get use to." Lucy said. "But is something wrong?"

"My uncle wants me to come home and doesn't want me to join the poetry club." Diana sighed.

"What?" Lucy gasped. "What are you going to do?"

"Well I'm not going home yet." Diana said. "So I'm just gonna go to poetry club."

"Are you sure?" Lucy asked.

"He told me to try new things. He didn't tell me for how long." Diana said.

"Then let's go." Lucy said. The two then head into the classroom.

After poetry club, Lucy entered the base dressed like Black Ice. "Hey Lucy. Glad you can make it." Lincoln said.

"I was at poetry club with a new classmate of mine." said Lucy.

"Made a new friend dudette?" Luna asked from the couch in the living area.

"I guess so." Lucy said. Fangs then flies up and lands on her head. "Hey Fangs."

"So you made a new friend? Did you made sure they didn't had fangs or any other features?" Fangs asked.

"Diana is completely human. I hope." Lucy said.

"Diana?" Lincoln questioned.

"She's the new girl at school." Lucy explained. "She moved here a few days ago and is staying with her uncle while her parents are in Peru."

"Ah yes Peru." Soothsayer said from the kitchen where he was whipping up food with Petty. "I remember it's early days. I must go back and visit one day. What do you think Petty?" Petty looks up from the ham he was eating and shrugs.

"Me don't know." Petty says with a mouthful of food.

"Petty don't talk with your mouth full." Luna scolds.

"Sorry." Petty said after swallowing. Tongri then pops his head up on the counter and Petty rips off a piece of ham for him which the tiger accepts hungrily.

"And what have I told you about feeding Tongri your food?" Luna asks.

"Not to give Petty's food to Tongri." Petty said.

"If you do that again and I'll take away your TV privileges." Luna scolded.

"Not TV!" Petty cried only to get hit in the head by a piece of metal causing him to turn and growl at Mr. Cuddles who was going through a pile of metal.

"No. This won't work." Mr. Cuddles said as he went through the metal and tossed it aside. "This is too rusted. This one smells. This has a picture of a chicken on it. Ahh! Squirrel!" As if on cue a squirrel pops out of the junk pile and scampered outside who is quickly followed by a barking Charles.

"I'm coming for you squirrel!" Charles shouted.

"Knew going to the junkyard was a waste of time. There's only well junk!" Mr. Cuddles moaned. "Petty we wasted our time."

"Nuh uh." Petty said. "Petty find washer and dryer." He pointed to the two appliances that they had found the day before.

"Yeah fair enough." Mr. Cuddles said. "Maybe next time we try the scrapyard."

"What were you guys doing at a junkyard?" Lucy asked.

"We're working on a project and we went to find some metal." Mr. Cuddles explained. "We found metal but not what we wanted. And as Petty said, we found a washer and dryer so now we can do laundry."

"At least Leni and Lola can stop complaining about getting their hero suits dirty." Lincoln said.

"Exactly." Mr. Cuddles said. "We're just waiting for Bobby to bring in laundry detergent and fabric softener." As if on cue, Bobby pulls into the base in his van. He steps out with a bag.

"Hey guys." Bobby said as he walked over and did his bro handshake with Lincoln. "I got the laundry stuff you wanted."

"Good. Put it next to the washer and dryer." Mr. Cuddles said. Bobby walked over to the washer and dyed and placed the bag down.

"So when are we going to start patrol?" Bobby asked.

"As soon as Sam shows up." Luna replied. "Once she gets here we'll head out."

"Cool." Bobby said.

"You guys up for a quick game of cards before Sam gets here?" Cliff asks.

"You know I'm always in." Lincoln answered.

"Yeah why not." Bobby said before the two go join the pets.

"I guess I can work on some tunes until Sam gets here." Luna said and walked off to the side.

"Sigh, since Fangs is playing cards with the others, I'll work on my poems alone." Lucy sighed.

"Poems?" Petty repeated. "What poem?"

"They're like mini speeches on some topic and such, but they rhyme." Lucy explained.

"Hmmm." Petty said. He grabs his ham and walks over before sitting in front of Lucy. "Read poem please." Lucy looks at him surprised.

"You want me to read you a poem?" Lucy asks.

"Yeah. Read Petty poem please." Petty replied.

Meanwhile with the pets, Bobby, and Lincoln. "I'll be honest, playing cards with you guys is better without Sergio. He always cheats at these games and board games too." Bobby said.

"Well you're about to witness the end of Cliff's winning streak." Lincoln said.

"You mean the one he recently got back yesterday?" Walt taunted. "He won two hands and now he thinks he's top cat."

"Well you're no longer the Top Cat." Bobby said and lied down his cards. "Four aces. Read em and weep em cat."

"How the hell did you get four aces?" Geo asked.

"Beginners luck I guess." Bobby said. However Cliff's eye begins to twitch and he unsheathed his claws. Then with a loud meow he jumps onto Bobby's face and starts scratching it. "Ah! Get him off get him off!" Bobby then begins running around with Cliff on his face while the rest of the pets and Lincoln chased after him. Meanwhile, Lucy was still reading her poetry to Petty and Tongri.

"Petty like poetry." Petty said. "More please." Lucy thinks about and gets an idea.

"How about I teach you how to write your own?" Lucy suggests.

"Petty wants to write." Petty nodded.

"Ok I'll teach you." Lucy said.

Lucy pulls out some paper and a pencil and hands it to Petty. However once she gave it to him it broke in half. "Oops." Petty said.

"Sigh. You're a lot stronger than the last time I taught you to write." Lucy said. "Maybe Soothsayer can help." As if summoned Soothsayer walks into the room.

"I heard my name." Soothsayer said. "What can I do for you Lucy?"

"Can you make an unbreakable pen or pencil for Petty?" Lucy asked. "I'm teaching him how to write."

"Most certainly." Soothsayer said. He waves his hand and a pencil appears in it.

"Ooooh." Lucy and Petty say in unison.

"This pencil is unbreakable, just as you requested." Soothsayer said as he hand it to Petty.

"Ok now where were we?" said Lucy.

"Petty write poetry." Petty said but doesn't do anything. "Um, how Petty start?"

"Well usually the poems come natural. Well to me that is." Lucy explained.

"Hmm." Petty hummed. "Example please."

"Like this." Lucy said. "Darkness. Black and mysterious. No stress. Just calm. Darkness."

"That was good Lucy." Petty said.

"Thank you Petty." said Lucy,

"Me try and write poem!" Petty said. He starts writing on the paper but doesn't like what he has and throws the paper away. He repeats this process three more times and let's out a growl of frustration. "Petty no good!" Tongri lifts his head and seeing his friend upset rest his head on his lap.

"I know it's frustrating Petty but it takes practice." Lucy assured him. "Why not write about something you like." Petty thinks about it and starts writing down some stuff. As this happens Sam walks into the base.

"Hey guys." Sam greeted.

"About time you got here Sam." Lincoln said.

"Sorry. I got stuck watching Simon and Ashley til Jay and Jack got home." Sam said. She's then hit in the head by a piece of paper and also sees Bobby in the fetal position with scratches on his face and Lincoln patting his back. "Um, did I miss something?"

"Petty's learning poetry and Bobby got attacked by Cliff." Walt says.

"Wow. Wild." Sam says. "So we heading out?"

"Yeah babe." Luna said. "Alright here is how it's gonna work. We're gonna split into three groups once we hit the city. Lincoln you're with Sam."

"Huh. That's a different pairing." Lincoln said. "I dig it though."

"Same Snowball." Sam said.

"Petty and Tongri will come with me." Luna said. "And Lucy will go with Bobby."

"Alright dudes and dudettes, let's hot the town." Luna said as she pressed her watch and beams Amplifier.

"Yeah!" Everyone says in unison as they press their watches and become the L-Crew.

"Alright Petty and Tongri let's go." Amplifier said. Tongri stood up and stretched before walking up to Amplifier. However Petty was still on the ground trying to write poetry. He let's out another growl of frustration and throws another piece of paper to the side before punching the ground.

"Gah! Petty no understand!" Petty shouted. "Poetry hard."

"Come on Petty. Take a break and help me and the others go on patrol." Amplifier said.

"Petty likes that." Petty said.

In a alleyway by the pet shop, a young figure wearing a yellow and orange body suit with a sun on her chest and a red helmet. She hears footsteps coming from behind and turns to see a large man approaching. "Xander." The figure said with a deep voice caused by a voice modulator in the costume that made her sound like a man.

"You're Helios I presume?" Xander questions. The figure nodded.

"You presumed right." Helios said. "I assume you were sent by Tetherby?"

"That's correct." Xander replied. "He keeps me around as muscle. So what's with the voice changer?"

"Mostly to hide my real voice so they don't find out my real identity." Helios replied.

"Whatever you say mate." Xander said before pulling out a wad of cash. "Half now, half after the job is done."

"Not to worry, the L-Crew are good as done." Helios said.

Meanwhile with Black Ice and Armor are patrolling the city with Armor on his motorcycle. "Hey Black Ice have you ever thought about have a vehicle of your own?" Armor asked.

"Why? I don't mind using my ice slide." Black Ice said.

"Well I think it would help if you save your power ok fighting crime." Armor replied.

"Firecracker and Amplifier don't have that kind of problem." Black Ice pointed out.

"Yeah but they don't leave ice around when they do fly." Armor pointed out. Black Ice looked back and saw several buildings and lampposts were covered in ice.

"You might have a point." Black Ice said. "It's never been brought up before so I never thought about that."

"Maybe we can have Lisa and Mr. Cuddles can make a flying snowboard or a snowmobile with all terrain option." Armor suggested.

"Maybe but I'm fine." Black Ice assured him. "I don't need anything. C'mon let's see if we can find some trouble."

"Yeah, you're right." Armor said as he put his focus on the road. "Hey did any of you guys found anything?" He called out on his watch.

"Not yet." Amplifier responded. "Petty, Tongri and I are on the rooftops keeping an eye open."

"We got nothing either." Genarocker said. "Right now we're waiting outside the bank that always gets robbed."

"Even that bank isn't robbing? Must be a slow day?" Armor asked.

"I doubt that." Genarocker replied.

"I found someone loitering." Firecracker said. "But that's almost not that big of a deal."

"Someone is gonna cause problems eventually." Armor said. As if on cue a bright yellow beam comes out of nowhere and hits Armor in the chest knocking him off his motorcycle. "Ugh. That hurt."

"That must have Nuke." Black Ice said.

"Guess again Black Ice!" Helios said as she floated down.

"Who the hell are you?" Black Ice glared.

"You may call me Helios." Helios said. "The Destroyer of the L-Crew. Any last words?" Armor raises his hand. "Yes?"

"What does your name mean?" Armor asked.

"It means the Greek God of the Sun." Helios explained. "That and he is the sun."

"Really?" Black Ice asked.

"Well Marvel already took Sunspot and Solaris, and I couldn't use Ra. Who is the Egyptian God of the Sun."

"Wow copyright sucks." Armor said. "But the only thing you're getting is a trip to the Dungeon!" He touches the ground and covers his body in asphalt. Black Ice lowers herself to the ground and forms two ice blades.

"Prepare to die." Helios said.

"By the way what's with voice changer?" Armor asked.

"Armor quit asking questions." Black Ice told him.

"Alright!" Armor said as he charged towards Helios along with Black Ice.

"Solar Flare!" Helios shouted as she shot a bright yellow-orange orb at the two heroes blinding them.

"Dah! My eyes!" Armor cried out. "You stole that from Dragonball Z!"

"And this is why I keep my hair over my eyes." Black Ice muttered. She then rushed forward and begins slashing at Helios who dodges them. She then puts her hands together and fires a beam at Black Ice who jumps away from it.

Black Ice fired an ice beam from her hands, but Helios countered with a yellow-orange beam are the ice beam canceling it out. Then Black Ice readies her swords and lunges towards Helios again to attack, but Helios dodges the attack and kicks Black Ice to the ground.

Armor finally recovers his sight and sees Black Ice on the ground with Helios standing over her. "Feel the power of the Sun!" Helios said as she prepared to blast Black Ice but his shoulder tackled to the side by Armor.

"I don't care how cool your voice sounds with a voice modifier." Armor said. "I'm taking you down."

Helios then blasted Armor back to a wall. Armor gets back up and turns his right hand into a hammer. "So what else you got? Other than ripping off my little sister." Armor asked.

Helios then raises her hand and shoots a stream of fire at Armor who barely avoids it only to get hit by sun beam that hits him into a building.

Then Helios felt something cold hitting him in the back and she looked behind to see Black Ice with her right hand up. "Leave us or face your frozen demise." Black Ice said.

"Try it ice queen." Helios said. She covers her hands in a yellow and orange energy before rushing towards Black Ice who forms her ice hammer. Black Ice swings her hammer at Helios who slides underneath it and punches Black Ice in the back of the head.

Black Ice quickly recovered from the attack and swings her ice hammer at Helios, to which she dodged the hammer and Black Ice swings it again, but only to be stopped by Helios' hand and it glow an orange-yellow colour and melts the hammer. Then blasts Black Ice back into a pile of garbage cans.

"She's tough." Armor comments. Helios prepares to blast Black Ice again but several fireballs come raining down pushing her back. Helios looks and sees Firecracker and Genarocker.

"That's enough of that." Firecracker said.

"Firecracker and Genarocker." Helios said. "What a surprise."

"Why does this dude have a voice changer?" Genarocker whispered to Firecracker.

"I have no idea." Firecracker replied.

"But Firecracker. It's an honour to meet another pyro." Helios said.

"Listen here um person." Firecracker said. "I'm the only pyro in this town. And I'm pretty sure you got nothing on me."

"She has the power of the sun." Black Ice said. Firecracker's cocky grin disappeared and exchanged a glance with Genarocker.

"Didn't expect that." Firecracker said.

"Neither did I." Genarocker replied. "But who are you?"

"I am Helios." Helios introduced.

"Oh you named yourself after the Greek God of the Sun. Let me guess were all the good names taken?" Genarocker asked.

"Yes actually." Helios said before firing a sunbeam at Genarocker then sends her sliding into a car.

Firecracker flew towards Helios and gave her a double punch to the face, but Helios knees Firecracker in the chest then gives him an elbow strike to the ground. Firecracker recovered from the attack and threw some fireballs at Helios, but Helios dodges the fireballs and catch one of them.

"Well that's new." Firecracker said.

"As will this." Helios said as the fireball suddenly turns yellow. Helios them throws the ball at Firecracker.

"Really you're throwing fire at me?" Firecracker scoffed. "Rookie mistake." He holds up his hand to try to stop the ball but it doesn't falter. "Um this is supposed to stop." The ball still comes at him full speed. "Why isn't it stopping?!" The ball then hits him in the stomach and sends him flying into Armor.

"How'd you like that plasma Firecracker?" Helios taunted.

"That makes sense." Firecracker groaned. "Plasma and fire are two different things."

Genarocker jumps in the air with her giant fists and punches Helios into the streets. "Why don't you try me on for size." Genarocker said.

Helios gets back up and motioned for Genarocker to try something. Genarocker throws a punch but Helios blasts the fists with plasma blasts which causes them to fall apart. "Anything else you'd like to try?" Helios asked. "If not I'll just destroy you."

"Um, this." Genarocker said as she formed her cannon. The back pops out into the asphalt and takes a large chunk.

"That doesn't scare me at all." Helios said. Helios then hears movement and turns to see Black Ice on her feet. "So you've risen from the grave."

"You can say that." Black Ice said.

"You know that plasma is the hottest element known to man. Fighting me is useless." said Helios.

"We'll see about that." Black Ice said. "Genarocker you attack from afar I'll attack from the front."

"You got it!" Genarocker said.

"So you got a plan huh? Very well, I can't wait to see it fail in the end." Helios said.

Black Ice rushes forward and forms two ice sais. She then starts trying to slash at Helios who avoids them but nearly gets hit by Genarocker's junk blast.

"So fighting smart are we." Helios said as she dodged Black Ice's ice sais.

"Something like that." Genarocker said as she fired another junk blast at Helios who destroys it with a sun blast that then hits Genarocker.

Then Helios heats up hands and melts Black Ice's sais. Then blasts Black Ice back with another Sun blast, and she hits a car on impact. "Where do these guys come from?" Black Ice groaned as she gets back up.

Helios begins to approach her with her hands glowing when she's suddenly hit by an electric blast knocking her back. Black Ice looks to see Amplifier, Petty and Tongri arriving on the scene.

"Hey dudes mind if we join the party?" Amplifier asked.

"Ah, Amplifier nice to meet you at last." Helios said.

"So who's this dude?" Amplifier asked.

"Her name is Helios, named after the Greek God of the sun. Yes that's a girl with a voice changer. Kick her ass!" Genarocker replied.

"With pleasure." Amplifier said. "Take this dude." Amplifier then fires a electric stream at Helios who counters it with a ball of light energy causing a small explosion forming a small smoke cloud. Seeing an opening Amplifier flies through the smoke. Helios looks into the smoke and tries to find Amplifier only to get hit in the gut by an electric fist.

Helios stumbles back a bit and shoots a sun beam at Amplifier, but Amplifier dodges the blast and charges up a lightning ball in her hand and charges at Helios. Then Amplifier hits her with lightning ball in the chest, blasting Helios and hitting a car on impact.

"You're a lot stronger than I thought." Helios said. "What would I expect from the second-in-command of the L-Crew." She looks and sees Amplifier standing in front of her a smile forms under her voice changer. "But even you make mistakes." Out of nowhere she unleashes a one handed sunbeam at Amplifier sending her flying to where Petty and Tongri were standing with the former holding paper and a pencil in his hands.

"What rhyme with ham?" Petty asked the large cat who let out a growl in response. "No that no work."

"Hey Petty. Can you take a break from your poems and help us?!" Amplifier said.

"Ok." Petty said with a sigh. He hands his stuff to Amplifier and he and Tongri walk towards Helios.

"Wasn't expecting this." Helios said. "But you'll fall like the rest!" Helios then rushes forward with both fists coated in sun energy. Petty looks at her unfazed and just watches as she rushes him. Once she's close she jumps up and goes to hit only to get hit by a powerful back fist by the rubber monster sending her flying into a car that also knocked off her voice changer.

"Petty win." Petty said. They hear a groan and they see Helios start to get up.

"That didn't work out like I thought." Helios said however without her voice changer. Once she spoke, Black Ice stiffened as she recognized the voice. The voice of someone that she had started to trust and befriend.

"Please no." Black Ice silently begged. Helios turned around and she saw clearly who it was. It was Diana Walker. "God no. It can't be."

"This doesn't work out for me." Helios said. "Time to regroup." She forms a light orb and slams it to the ground blinding everyone. Once the light disappears, they see Helios gone.

"Dang it. She got away." Armor said.

"This is what the second hot head in Royal Woods we have now?" Firecracker asked.

"Don't worry dudes." Amplifier said. "We'll get her." She sees Black Ice standing by herself and heads over to her. "Hey Black Ice you alright?" Black Ice doesn't answer. "Luce?"

"I trusted her." Black Ice said in a shakey voice. "I thought she was my friend." Amplifier looks at her confused when she looks and sees drops land on the ground. Tear drops. Concerned, Amplifier turns Black Ice around and sees tears coming out from behind her bangs. Seeing this, Amplifier quickly pulls her into a hug as Lucy cries into her shoulder. "I trusted her. She acted like she was my friend and she was a crazy supervillain the whole time!"

"It's alright Luc." Amplifier said as she patted Lucy on the back. "These things happen."

"I trusted her." Black Ice cried. Amplifier sighs and turns to the rest of the team.

"We're heading back to base." Amplifier said. "We'll regroup and head out later."

In a alleyway, Helios was catching her breath. She wasn't happy with how the fight turned and she especially wasn't happy that she was never told about the L-Crew having a rubber monster on their team.

"That didn't go well and the L-Crew have a freaking rubber monster. But they were good, heck better than I thought. But I suppose next time, I'll see the other L-Crew members next time." Helios said. "Worst part, that pink lard ass broke my voice changer."

"L-Crew were tougher than thought eh luv?" Helios turned to see Xander leaning against one of the buildings tossing a knife in his hand.

"Hey I was doing fine till that stupid rubber monster stepped in!" Helios argued. "He made me look like a chump!" Xander chuckled and puts his knife away.

"Don't worry about him luv." Xander assured her. "Things'll be different this time because I'll be there to keep the rubber freak in line."

"And the L-Crew will be all mine." Helios said with a smile. "Let's go." She runs out of the alley with Xander walking out the other end. When he steps out he accidentally bumps into someone who he sees was dressed as a cowboy.

"Apologies mate." Xander said. The cowboy didn't look up.

"No harm done." The cowboy. The two start walking their separate ways when the cowboy stopped. "Interesting getup you got there." Xander stops walking but doesn't turn around. He just places a hand on his machete.

"I wouldn't talk mate." Xander fired back. Sensing the possible tension, the cowboy placed a hand on one of his revolvers. Neither one moves or speaks but they both keep a hand on their weapons. Finally the cowboy speaks.

"You wouldn't happen to know where I can a bar around here would you?" He asked. Xander relaxed his grip on his machete but kept s hand on it.

"A few blocks away mate." Xander replied. "Ask for Todd. He'll take care of you." The cowboy satisfied with his answer releases his grip on his revolver.

"Much obliged." The cowboy said before walking off. Xander watched him go and scoffs.

"Americans are weird." He says before walking off.

Back at the base, Lucy is sitting on the couch, looking down in sadness at the fact that her new friend is a meta-human and the villain that she and her team faced off. She wasn't just silent, but she remained frozen in place ever since they got back to the base.

"Wait so this new villain can control the sun and it's a new friend of Lucy?" Lori asked while over the phone with Luna.

"That's right Lori." said Luna.

"That's a new one." Lori said. "How's Lucy doing?" Luna sighs.

"Not good." She answered. "She's taking it hard. Really wish Clyde didn't have to go shopping with his dads. Got any ideas?"

"Well I'm not sure on how to handle this." Lori admitted. "But I do have an idea. Why don't you call mom and see if she knows what to do."

"You sure that's a good idea? I mean sure what am I suppose to tell her?" Luna asked.

"I don't know? Make it up. Anyway I have to go my break is up. Bye." Lori said as she hangs up.

Luna sighs as she looks at her phone before looking at Lucy now being comforted by Fangs. Seeing the young goth so upset helped make up her mind. She then dialed the number and put the phone up to her ear. She hears ringing and after a few seconds it stopped.

"Hello?"

"Hey mom." Luna said.

"Oh hello Luna." Rita said. "What's up?" Luna hesitates for a second before answering.

"I have a problem." Luna said.

"What happened?" Rita said her voice growing serious.

"It's Lucy." Luna said. "She made a new friend at school and they really hit it off but Luce found something out about that caused her to lose her trust in her and now she's really upset. I don't know what to do. I asked Lori for help but she didn't know either so she suggested I call you."

"Oh dear. That sounds horrible." Rita said.

"I know mom." Luna replied.

"So from what you've told me, Lucy has lost all faith in making new friends and probably will now no longer trust her current friends." Rita said. "It's happened before with you kids." This caught Luna by surprise.

"Wait it wasn't just Leni?" Luna asked surprised.

"Nope. You had similar problems." Rita told her. "You were so shy. You once thought you made a friend but it turned out that she was using you to get closer to Lori. You were so upset that you wouldn't hang out with anyone outside the family. You would always hang out with your younger sisters and brother. You just wouldn't hang out with anyone your own age."

"I think I remember that but how did you fix it?" Luna asked.

"Well your father took you to a small music festival." Rita answered. "While this was a few years before you got into music, you had so much fun and you even made a friend in the long run. Of course you were cautious at first but you had so much fun. I just wish I remembered that girl's name. Anyways you were so happy after meeting that girl that you let your guard down and started making more friends. It turns out that you just needed someone to show you that not all friends are fake and that there are some you can trust. That's what Lucy needs right now. Someone to show her that she can still trust her friends and make new ones."

"You're right mom. Thanks for the advice mom." said Luna.

"Don't mention it Luna." Rita replied.

"Anyway I'm gotta go cheer Lucy up. Bye." Luna said as she hung up. Luna than walked up to Lucy and sat next to her on the couch. "Hey Luc, how are you feeling?"

"Leave me alone Luna." Lucy pleaded. "Let me wallow in self-pity."

"C'mon Lucy talk to me." Luna begged.

"Just go away." Lucy begged. Luna was about to try again when Lincoln comes in.

"Luna, Helios is back." He said. "We gotta go." Luna turns to Lucy who didn't move from her spot. She then turns to Soothsayer.

"Keep an eye on her?" She asked.

"I will keep an eye on her." said Soothsayer as Luna pressed a button on her watch and became Amplifier.

"Alright, let's get this son of a bitch." Amplifier said.

"I'm pretty sure she's a girl." Soothsayer said. Amplifier rolled her eyes and flew out of the base with everyone right behind her. When they were gone, Soothsayer turned his attention to Lucy when he's joined by Mr. Cuddles, Charles, Cliff, Walt and Geo.

"She looks so upset." Mr. Cuddles said. "More upset than usual."

"Fangs, told me that Lucy's new friend is a supervillain that controls the sun." said Walt.

"Damn. Talk about brutal." Geo said.

"It's gotta be hard for her." Charles said. "She's always had problems opening up to people and trusting people and the one time she let's down her guard she finds out she's a villain."

"It's not the first time. She did let her guard on that vampire." Mr. Cuddles pointed out.

"Yeah I remember hearing about that." Walt said.

"You guys know the saying." Cliff said. "Fool me once shame on me. Fool me twice shame on you. But in this case it's the other way around. This definitely won't help Lucy's self-esteem."

"Indeed." Soothsayer said. "Lucy's trust in others has no doubt been shattered with these recent events." Meanwhile on the couch, Fangs was trying to comfort Lucy.

"C'mon Lucy." Fangs pleaded. "Talk to me."

Lucy didn't reply back, she just remained silent. "Lucy, it's me your friend and pet. Talk to me!" Fangs begged. "Just open up please!"

"What's there to talk about?" Lucy said.

"You can't shut us out Luce." Fangs told her. "We're your friends." However Lucy turned to her pet with a scowl.

"Sure you say that now but when I let my guard down you'll turn on me too." Lucy said. "Let's face it, I don't deserve friends. I'm destined to be alone." Fangs looks at her surprised and doesn't respond but get an idea.

"Your right." Fangs said. "Not everyone is your friend. Hell some just act like your friend just because they want something. So yeah you shouldn't have friends like that." Lucy looks at Fangs confused.

"Fangs what are you trying to say?" Lucy asked.

"That there are people who will use you." Fangs said. "But there are still people who want to be your friend. Who don't pretend to be your friend just because they want something. There are people who genuinely like you. Look at Haiku. She's one of your best friends who's stood by your side for so long and your just gonna turn your back on her? If you do that you'll be no better than those that messed with your emotions. Hell technically Diana didn't do anything to you personally because she doesn't know you and Black Ice are one in the same. But you can't close yourself off. You gotta learn from these mistakes so you don't make them again."

"You're right Fangs." Lucy sighed. "Haiku is a friend who likes me for me, and doesn't use me to get to my brother. I hope. Diana doesn't know that I'm Black Ice, and she do anything bad to me at school. We started out on good terms. I don't know why she chose this path of villainy? But I'm not going to let this other side of her ruin me." Lucy said as she pressed a button on her watch and became Black Ice. "Thanks Fangs."

"No problem Lucy." Fangs said.

But I just don't know if I'm willing to risk getting hurt again." Lucy said. "I don't think I'm willing to put myself through that." As if on cue Petty and Tongri walk in and Petty had a big smile on his face.

"Petty write poem!" Petty announced. "Petty read. Petty like food. Me think it taste good. Me like ham. Me think it taste good with jam. Petty like friends. Me like them to the end. Petty like Lucy. She make Petty smile. She teach Petty how to write. Me think she is alright. Lucy's Petty's friend." After he finished everyone in the room stared at Petty with mouths wide open. After a few seconds Petty looked confused. "Petty's poem bad?" Lucy got up and walked up to the large rubber monster.

"No. It was good for a first try." Lucy said. "Your my friend too." A small smile forms on her face. "Thank you. But now we gotta go stop Helios." Petty nods and Tongri growls in agreement.

"Well if you're leaving, perhaps you'd like to use a new toy I made for you." Mr. Cuddles said. He goes to the back and brings something out under a sheet. He pulls the sheet off and everyone sees a black snowmobile with snowflakes and ice painted on it. "Found it in the junkyard and I fixed her up. My gift to you Lucy to show that you're my friend too."

"Whoa! Is that for me?" Lucy asked.

"Yep. This bad boy is all terrain, so you can ride it all season, Rain or shine and all that stuff." Mr. Cuddles said.

"Thanks Mr. Cuddles. Anyway I gotta go stop Helios." Lucy said as she hopped on the snowmobile and takes off.

"Petty and Tongri come too!" Petty says before he and Tongri run after her.

In the city Xander stood on a building waiting for Black Ice to come through. He knew that Black Ice wasn't with the rest of the L-Crew so he knew she'd be on her way to help them and that rubber creature would be with her. He hears something coming from a distance and he turns to see Black Ice driving a snowmobile with the tiger and rubber creature not far behind.

"Alright luv, Black Ice is on her way." Xander said through the comm. "How are things on your end?" He hears sounds of fighting coming from the other end.

"Doing fine." Helios said with grunt. "You just keep that rubber creature busy."

"You got it luv." Xander said as he ends the call, and take out his rifle and aims it at Rubbor and Tongri. But he fired a shot at the ground and it stopped Petty and Tongri in their tracks.

"Who shot?" Petty questioned.

Tongri sniffs the air and let's out a roar at a nearby building. Black Ice stops her vehicle and turns to the two. "What's wrong?" She asks. Suddenly, Xander lands on the ground in front of them. "Gasp! Xander!"

"Ello luv." Xander greeted. "Long time no see."

"Why are you attacking me? You have your sights on making my little sister as a trophy." Black Ice pointed out.

"I know. But I needed a break from her." Xander said.

"I can assure you I'm no easier than my sister." Black Ice said as she got off the snowmobile and formed two ice blades.

"Oh I know luv." Xander said as he put his rifle away and unsheathed his machete. "Your just as easy."

Petty tackles Xander and he hits a car on impact. "Run Black Ice! Tongri and Petty will deal with Xander!" Petty explained. Tongri lunges towards Xander, and they began to wrestle against Xander.

"Ok but be careful." Black Ice said as she got rid of her swords. She jumped on her snowmobile and drove off. Seeing her drive Xander scowled but didn't really care. He had his job. He pushed Tongri off and elbows Petty in the head which forces him off. Xander gets up and pulls out a knife and grabs his machete.

"Show me what you got mate." Xander challenged as he waved his knife at the two. "As for you kitty cat, you ain't the first tiger I've tangled with. But you are certainly one of the biggest. Perhaps you'll make a decent trophy."

"You no hurt Tongri!" Petty shouted as he charged towards Xander and punches the hunter in the chest and he lands on the ground.

Petty goes to slam his fists on the ground but Xander rolls out of the way. Petty straightened out and Xander charges towards him. He slides between his legs and once he's behind him, Xander gets to his feet and jumps onto Petty's back where he locks in a sleeper hold. Petty tries to break free but Xander has it locked in good as Petty begins to fade.

"Nighty night monster." Xander said. However he then feels a sudden in his back as Tongri slashed his back with his sharp claws which forced Xander to release Petty. Xander let's out a growl and turns his attention to the large cat. "You'll pay for that." Tongri's only response was a roar. "Try your luck mate."

Tongri lunges at Xander and pins him down to the ground, before Tongri can swipe Xander, the hunter grabs Tongri's paw and double kicks the tiger off of him.

Petty grabs Xander and placed him in a chokehold. "Petty got you." Petty said.

"You think so don't ya?" Xander taunted. He lifts his foot up and brings it down on Petty's causing the large rubber monster to lose his grip. Petty then responded with an uppercut that sent Xander flying into a building. Petty then runs forward and he picks up Xander but doesn't stop running. The two then start crashing through walls in each section of the building with the occupants looking on in shock in fear as the two crash through the walls while being followed by a large Siberian tiger. After crashing through several walls, the two make it to the other side and back on the street as Petty hits a spinebuster onto the hunter. The hunter rolls to the side and gets back up. He wipes the blood off his forehead and faces Petty and Tongri.

"Hunter want more?" Petty growled.

"You know it freak." Xander replied. The two then charged forward and they both leaped at each other.

Meanwhile downtown, Amplifier is dodging all of Helios' attacks. Then Amplifier threw two electric balls at Helios, but Helios dodges the electric balls. Then fired a sun blast at Amplifier blasting her back.

"Is that all you have?" Helios taunted. Firecracker then flies forward and kicks Helios in the chest sending her back into Armor who hits a shoulder tackle to the back.

Then Genarocker used her junk cannon to shoot a hunk of junk at Helios, causing a cloud of dust to form. Genarocker sighed in relief. That's when Helios flies out of cloud of dust and gives her a fiery punch to the gut.

"I'll ask again? Is that all you have?" Helios asked.

"Nope." Genarocker said with grunt as a smirk formed on her face. She then forms her two mechanical fists and hits Helios with so much force it sends her flying back. "Just needed you to get close."

Armor ran towards Helios. "Now to make sure she doesn't get up." Armor said to himself.

Helios begins to get back up only to get hit by a kick to the face by Armor which causes Helios to slide back. "How dare you?" Helios growled before blasting Armor that sends him flying towards Genarocker who sidesteps him allowing him to crash into a car.

"Why did you move?" Armor groaned.

"Didn't want you crashing into me." Genarocker answered with a shrug. "You guys might not care but I do."

"You could have catch me you know." Armor pointed out.

"You were coming in at high speed." Genarocker replied.

"Stop arguing and focus!" Amplifier ordered.

"Sorry." They say in unison.

Then two plasma beams are heading towards the three heroes. Amplifier, Armor and Genarocker dodged the two beams. "I think you guys fight with each other more than the villains?" Helios said.

"No we make sure you're our top priority." Amplifier said and fired an electric ball towards Helios.

Helios blasts the ball before dodging a mailbox thrown by Armor. "C'mon is that all you got?" Helios taunted. "It's almost like you're stalling for something." She then realized something. "Wait. Where's Firecracker?"

"Right here!" Helios looks up and sees Firecracker with a giant fireball over his head. "Here's an Ultranova!" He then throws the massive fireball at Helios.

Helios gets hit by the massive fireball while Firecracker smirks. But that was short lived when he sees that the Ultranova was still here, then turns yellow, and sees Helios lifting it with two hands.

"You really dropped the ball on this one Firecracker." Helios said and then threw it back at Firecracker.

"Right. Sun powers." Firecracker said in monotone. He's then hit by the ball that sends him flying far into the distance with a ping.

"Um, where did he go?" Armor asked.

"Not sure." Amplifier replied. "But we can worry about that later. Let's deal with Helios."

"Don't worry you can catch up with him soon." Helios said and charged her hands with solar energy. Then fired the beams at the three heroes. Then an ice wall forms blocking the solar beams melting the wall. "What the hell?"

Then Black Ice on her snowmobile is shown jumping over Helios and when she lands on the ground slides across the ground and shoots an ice beam at Helio's lower half. "Miss me?" Black Ice asked.

"You." Helios growled. "I didn't think you'd show up." She then forms two beams of light that become light blades. "But it won't matter. I'm gonna destroy you and this time your rubber friend ain't gonna save you." Amplifier's eyes widen.

"Petty?" Amplifier gasped.

"He and Tongri are fighting Xander." Black Ice told her. "But how would she know this unless. Gasp! You're working with Xander!"

"You got that right." Helios said "Xander is dealing with that pink idiot and his pet tiger. So you guys deal with me."

"Well then." Black Ice said as two ice blades form in her hands. "Be careful what you wish for. By the way, where's Firecracker?"

"Probably halfway to Hazeltucky." Armor answered.

"He better hurry up." Amplifier said.

"This ends now, Helios. Surrender and you will be placed in the dungeon." Black Ice said.

"No I'm good." Helios said. "I'd rather crush you."

"Very well, then you will meet your frozen demise." Black Ice said.

The two then charged forward with their blades. Once they were close the two blades clashed. Black Ice swung one sword but Helios parried it with her sun blade. Helios then swung her second blade at Black Ice who struggled to block it. What made things worse was that Black Ice's blades would start melting with each clash.

"My ice blades are melting from her sun blades. I better make this quick." Black Ice thought as she reforms her ice blades.

"You're holding back Lucy." A voice said in her head. Black Ice looks around as she recognizes the voice.

"Raven?" Black Ice asked. "I'm holding back?"

"Indeed Lucy, you are." Raven said. "Your emotions are clouding your judgment. You must remember your opponent is not your friend in her other life. She is your opponent. You must remember that."

"But it's so hard." Black Ice whispers. "She's still the person I had befriended."

"Yes, I'm aware of that, but if you let your feelings for your new friend affect your judgement. It will affect your mind and trust as well." Raven said. "Stop fighting her as Lucy, but as Black Ice."

"And don't treat her as Diana but as Helios." Black Ice finished. "Your right. I can't let my emotions cloud my judgment. Thanks."

"My pleasure." Raven said as his presence vanished. Black Ice looked up and saw Helios preparing another attack.

"You done talking to yourself yet?" Helios asked. "If not I'll just kill you now."

"Yeah I'm done. And so are you." Black Ice said and charged towards Helios and begins to slash her. Then fired an ice blast from her hand, blasting Helios back.

"What the?" Helios gasped. Suddenly Black Ice appears behind her and as Helios turns to face her, Black Ice knocks the sun blades out of her hands.

"Everyone hit her now!" Black Ice ordered.

Amplifier charged up two electric balls the size of dodgeballs and throws them towards Helios. Then Genarocker turns her arm into a junk cannon and fires a hunk of junk at Helios, hitting her.

"This can't be!" Helios grunted.

"Oh it be." Armor said from inside Genarocker's cannon. "Shoot me."

Genarocker nodded and shot Armor out of her cannon. Armor is flying through the air and forms his hand into a metal hammer and hits Helios in the chest on impact.

Helios groans and falls to the ground. "It's over Helios." Black Ice said.

"No it's not." Helios groaned. "I will still crush you." Suddenly something comes falling from the sky and landing a few feet away from Helios. The figure is revealed to be Xander. Petty them comes crashing down and immediately rushes the hunter. Petty then throws a punch but Xander ducks and hits several body shots on him. Petty let's out a growl and grabs Xander by his vest before swinging him into a car. Petty then goes for a right jab but Xander moves which causes Petty's fist to go through the car. Petty tries to pull it out but it's stuck.

"Uh oh." Petty says. Xander sees this and a evil grin forms on his face.

"Little stuck pinkie?" Xander taunts. He begins to approach Petty who doesn't flinch. He then begins to walk towards Xander while dragging the car behind him. The two then hear someone clearing their throat. They turn to see Amplifier.

"Um, what's going on here?" Amplifier asked gesturing to the two. Tongri then pads up and stops beside Amplifier before collapsing to his stomach exhausted. "And why is Tongri so tired?"

"I did say that they were fighting Xander." Black Ice reminded her.

"Oh, now it makes sense." Amplifier said.

"What are you doing here Xander?" Armor asked. "Wildgirl's not here."

"For Pete's sake we literally discussed this when Black Ice showed up!" Helios shouted. "He was keeping that stupid rubber monster busy while I killed you. Pay attention why don't you."

"Sorry I asked." Armor muttered. "But now you both can go to the Dungeon."

"No can do mate." Xander said. "Not a fan of prison." He pulls out a mine. "Here's a little present monster." He tosses the mine that lands in front of Petty. Petty looks at it confused as Xander pulls out his rifle which he then shoots at the grenade causing it to explode and send Petty flying back. "Alright luv. I'm done here."

"But I'm not done yet!" Helios argued.

"Doesn't matter. Odds ain't in our favor luv." Xander said. "So let's bounce."

Helios sighs in defeat and forms a yellow ball and throws it in the air blinding the heroes. "Damn it! Not another solar flare!" Armor groaned.

When the light clears both Xander and Helios are nowhere to be found. "Dang it. They got away!" Black Ice said.

"Well let's add another villain that needs to be captured." Genarocker sighed.

"Don't worry. We'll get them." Amplifier said. She turns to Petty who frees his hand from the car. "Good job big guy."

"Thanks mama." Petty said.

Then Firecracker flew in and landed on the ground. "I came in at full speed and by the looks of it the battle is over. What did I miss?" Firecracker asked.

"Well Helios was working with Xander." Black Ice said.

"Huh. Didn't expect that." Firecracker admitted.

"So where exactly did you end up?" Genarocker asked.

"Halfway to Hazeltucky." Firecracker replied. "Soon as I crashed I got swarmed by fans. Downside of the hero life. So now what?"

"We add another rogue villain to our list of villains to throw in the Dungeon." Genarocker replied.

"But now let's head back to base." Amplifier said. "Don't know about you dudes but I'm hungry."

"Petty hungry." Petty said.

"Yeah flying back to Royal Woods made me hungry." Firecracker said.

"Then let's get out of here." Genarocker said. "Armor's buying."

"Yeah I'm wait what?" Armor said. The L-Crew then leave the area. However unknown to them, a figure dressed in cowboy garb leaned against a building with a cigar in his mouth. He takes the cigar out of his mouth and blew out a puff of smoke.

"This place is weird." Ryker said. "Now to that bar." He crosses the street and heads to the bar. He walks in and sits at the counter. An older man then approaches him.

"Can I help you?" The man asked.

"I'm looking for a guy named Todd." Ryker said. "You know him?"

"Yeah." The man says. "I know him. I am him."

"You're Todd?" Ryker asked.

"That's right." Todd said. "Why do you ask?"

"Some British guy pointed me here and told me to ask for you." Ryker said. "So how does a man that's not from around here and has little to no money get a drink?"

"How about I open up a tab for you?" Todd suggested. "I open up the tab and you get drinks here. Eventually you pay the money you owe."

"If that's the case, I'll take one of the strongest drinks you got." Ryker told him.

Todd grabs a shot glass and pours some vodka into the glass. "Here's a strong drink." Todd said. "It's called Vodka. It's a drink Russia."

"Alright thanks." Ryker said as he began drinking. Not to far away a couple of drunks were giving one of the female bartenders a hard time.

"C'mon baby just give me a couple more glasses." One drunk begged.

"No I told you that you've had enough." The bartender told him.

"C'mon we just want a couple more shots." The other drunk said. "And then maybe we could head back to my place."

"I don't got time for this." The bartender said trying to walk away but one drunk grabs her.

"I ain't done talking to you yet!" The drunk growled.

"Let go. I said let go!" The bartender pleaded now getting scared when a Loud throat clearing is heard. The three turn their attention to the origin of the noise to see Ryker still sitting with his glass of Vodka in his hand not looking up from his drink.

"The lady said to let go." Ryker said. "I suggest y'all abide."

Hey boys look here, the rodeo came to town." The drunk said as he and his drinking buddies laughed. Ryker didn't replied, he just ignored them.

"You heard him, let me go." The bartender said.

"No one asked you!" The drunk shouted.

"I suggest you treat the lady with respect." Ryker said as he looked at his shot glass.

The drunks approached Ryker and stand on either side of him. "You got something to say cowboy?" One drunk asks. However Ryker remains calm.

"I'm just trying to enjoy my drink but you two are ruining the atmosphere." He says. "So leave the lady alone and get out."

"Oh really? It what?" The other drunk challenged before spilling Ryker's drink. "Oops."

"You spilled my drink." Ryker said.

"Yeah and what are you gonna do about it?" One drunk challenged as he grabbed Ryker's shirt. Then suddenly before anyone can react, Ryker immediately pulls out his two revolvers. He points one under one of the drunk's chin and points the other revolver at the other drunk.

"Now boys it's seems like we've arrived at an interesting development." Ryker said. "These here revolvers are fully loaded and ready to fire. Now tell me, you think you can do something before I pull the triggers?"

"Take it easy man." The drunk replied.

"Yeah there's no need for this." The other drunk said.

"Now here's what you're going to do. You two are going to apologize to that lady over there. Pay for your drinks and go home." Ryker said. "Or else you'll be 6 ft into the ground. Got it?"

"Yes sir!" The two drunks say in unison. Ryker then lowered his two revolvers and the two ran off. They paid for their drinks, apologized to the bartender and ran out of the bar. Once they were gone, Todd came up and refilled his glass.

"That was pretty impressive." Todd told him.

"I know. I couldn't stand by and let one of your bartenders get treated that way." Ryker said.

"I try to keep the customers in line. I'm low on staff." Todd said.

"I can see that." Ryker said as he pulled out a cigar. "May I?"

"Go ahead." Todd said. Ryker puts the cigar in his mouth before pulling out matches. He lights a match and proceeds to light the cigar. After it's lit, Ryker puts out the match and blows out a puff of smoke. "You know I got a proposition for you if you're interested."

"What is it?" Ryker asked.

"A bouncer. It's where you need make sure the drunks stay in line and kick them out if they cause too much trouble. That and make people are 21 and over. There are some teenagers who sneak in here to get a drink. I can lose my license for that." Todd explained.

"Look I don't plan on staying around long." Ryker told him.

"Doesn't matter." Todd said. "How about I sweeten the pot. You take the job, you can live in the room I have upstairs. My son used to live up there before he moved out. Plus I'll pay you and give you free drinks. I'd say that's a good deal."

Ryker thinks about it and he looks at Todd. "Fine, I'll take the job." said Ryker.

"Excellent. Just don't shoot anyone." Todd said.

"No promises." Ryker said as he blew out another puff of smoke. "Now maybe you can tell me something." He takes in another drawl on his cigar and blows some smoke. "What can you tell me about the strange folks with weird abilities."

Meanwhile both Xander and Helios are far away from the L-Crew and they were just resting from the battle. "So that was the L-Crew. I thought there would be more of them." Helios said.

"Oh there are luv." Xander said. "That's just a small fraction of the L-Crew. You got lucky you only had to deal with that." Helios nodded but looked down upset. "What's with the frowny face luv?"

"I'm sorry I failed uncle Xander." Helios said. "I know that Tetherby had huge faith in me and that you weren't really sure it was me til after the helmet broke which is the only reason you helped me in the first place. I'm really sorry." Xander sighs and kneels down in front of the girl before placing a hand on her shoulder.

"Don't worry luv." Xander told her. "You did fine. You did better than most metas do in their first encounters with the L-Crew. Besides, if I had known it was you, I probably wouldn't have been ok with you going out there. Listen here, my little sister, your mum, may have married a yank which I wasn't entirely thrilled about mind you but that doesn't mean I wasn't happy when they gave birth to you. And besides your mum entrusted me with taking care of ya didn't they? So buck up luv and show uncle Xander that smile he loves."

Helios smiles at what her uncle said. "There's that smile." Xander said. "Come on. Let's go home."

"So can I be part of your plan then?" Helios asked.

"I don't see why not luv." Xander said. "Just keep it on the down low. I'll put in a good word for you with Tetherby for now. Remember it's our little secret."

"Yes uncle Xander." Helios said. "So do I still have to go to school tomorrow?"

"Oh yeah luv." Xander answered. "That ain't changing."

The next day Lucy is at her locker grabbing her books and sighed. "Ok I need to ignore the fact that Diana is Helios. She is still my friend." Lucy said to herself.

"Hey Lucy!" Lucy looks to her left and sees Diana walking towards her.

"Here she comes." Lucy sighed.

"Hey Lucy." Diana greeted.

"Hello Diana." Lucy greeted in her usual monotone. "Were you able to get home alright yesterday and did you get in trouble with your uncle?"

"I was able to get home safe, and well my wasn't happy that I was late coming home and he grounded me for two weeks." Diana explained.

"That's sucks." Lucy replied.

"Yeah but it's ok." Diana assured her. "He said I can still do poetry club."

"That's cool." Lucy said. "Next meeting is afterschool. Haiku brought snacks."

"Wicked!" Diana said. "Listen I gotta run! See ya!" She then walks off leaving Lucy alone when Haiku walks up.

"So she's Helios?" Haiku said. "Shame. She seems so nice." Lucy nods. "So what's gonna happen now?"

"Nothing." Lucy replied. "I'm still gonna be her friend." Haiku looks at her curiously.

"Why?" Haiku asks. "Isn't she your enemy?"

"She is." Lucy replied. "But you know what they say Haiku. Keep your friends close." She then looks towards the direction that Diana walked off in and saw her talking to a teacher. "And your enemies closer."

Smoke: Hey guys Smoke here. Now to the guest reviewer who suggested the idea, which didn't give us much to work with. Originally she was suppose to be a bully, but we didn't want to do that since we did that to Lynn and Lincoln. So we took the friend is a villain route. Which seems like a good choice. Oh and Arthuro is not gonna be Roberto's twin brother. He doesn't exist, we didn't know about Bobby and Ronnie Anne's real name at the time. Heck we didn't know he was alive. Blame the writers on this one. Zach would you like to say anything?

Zachlor16: Yeah. I hope y'all enjoyed the chapter of Loud Heroes. Also if you guys do suggest villains, please please PLEASE put more info down. Costumes, codenames, exact details on what their powers do. Just giving us a general description of plot and powers doesn't help us. Took us forever to figure out Helios. So do keep giving us suggestions (only one per chapter and person) but give us more info. Also leave more OMAKES please. Also we have the next two chapters planned out we just need to figure out which one we want to do first. So see you around.
