Ch.52 Battle

I can't move. My body is numb. My wings are gone and I am slowly fading. I look at the sky, there was something falling, it was a peice of the building. Within seconds I felt it hit me. I could see blood splatter everywhere.

"I have failed you, Mieryia." I said fading from consciousness.

Now unconscious, I see my life before my eyes. When I was happy, when everything was okay, when everyone was okay. Life was so simple back then.

"Myira." a voice whispered. I looked around, a bright light appeared infront of me and there stood a woman.

"Mieryia?" I said covering my eyes from the blinding light and walking forward.

The light hallowed her body, she opened her eyes, purple light radiated from them.

"Spirit of Shadow, may we use your power once more. May we use it to cleave you from the depths of your despair."

The power grew stronger, the sound of the power expanding grew louder in a hallowing crescendo. The light floated around me, I felt my wings come open. They healed completely, even the sword slash on my arm healed. The light continued to float around me, introducing threads of purple with it too.

"Myira, my role has finished. My time as a immortal has expired." a tear shed from her eye, "You will be a great leader to our people. Take care of them for me," she sighed, "Say 'hi' to Aveegoh for me as well."

"I will." I said, the light began lifting me up.

"Remember me." she said faintly.

I began to regain consciousness. The building was still on top of me. I could hear the screams and cries of many humans. To hear the sadness around me, was hard enough, I had to put a stop to this now. A sudden burst of hope took over me, and I pushed the building off with ease, purple light radiated from my hands. I stood up and let my wings come open, they were completely healed! I began walking forwards. A purple ball formed in my hand, I launched it at the beast. When it hit Aveegoh, it let out a cry. I continued to pummel the beast with the purple energy until I finally got it's full attention. It turned around and headed for me. Members of Darkness still moved around it.

"Yes, yes!" I whispered under my breath.

I hit it in the head a few more times before it swung at me with it's gigantic foot, I dodged it and flapped towards the sky just out of reach of it's attacks.The beast looked around a few times before realizing where I went. I hit it again and it let out a roar. The beast began trembling and wings began to rise from it's back. It flapped a few times and went upward.

It came at me, it was pretty fast for it's size. I flapped faster and faster to get away from it. After a few seconds of rising I stopped, flapped in one area. Aveegoh joined me at the same level. It stared at me with a look of hatred. Red flashed within it's eyes. I drew my sword and flapped forward slightly. Focusing on my breathing, I took four deep breaths before putting both of my hands ln the sword and charging at Aveegoh.

It opened it's mouth and let out fire again, this time I dodged it. I flapped up to the top of it's head, purple light began to glow on the sword as well. I looked at it then took it and shoved it right into the beast's skull. I could feel something pushing back, but I pushed at it harder. Once the sword was all the way through the beast began to fall from the sky.

I flapped up and watched it fall. I had done it, I stopped the chaos....
