[28] Struggle On Wandas Ice Mountains
If others were to witness, this they would think that they had just hallucinated about the two men. After all, the two figures didn't even stay for more than one second!
Phanella Scarlet turned around with a cold face and vanished from the Evergreen-fall forest as well.
Suddenly the whole area became deserted except for the golden spring water which was reflecting the ethereal, beautiful silver light of the great Deluna.
After they left, a figure materialized in the air. He glanced at the rock where Pheona Scarlet was sitting earlier and saw a long red hair on it.
Realizing that Pheona Scarlet had already accepted the potions, he smiled with relief. The man walked ahead and picked up the red hair. The length of it could not be described just by the word 'long'. The more he pulled, the more it stretched.
In the end, he had to use his ice element power and freeze the hair. He pulled out the hair-stick from the Golden Spring and kept it away. After his work was done, he turned around to leave.
Pheona Scarlet, who saw this scene from her bedroom, scoffed and murmured in disdain.
"Coward."

"Cchi~" A certain Kayra who was being chased by the Dragon and Phoenix clans simultaneously, yet was oblivious to all that chaos, sneezed hard. She rubbed her nose and tried to get down from a tree but failed.
Currently, she was wrapped in a parachute and looked like a mummy, thus she failed to free herself. When the situation seemed bad and she didn't see any way out, she could no longer control her emotions or stay calm.
"AAA! Save me! Someone, Save me!..." Kayra screamed with a wavering tone.
But, her wavering voice only echoed throughout the huge Wandas Ice Mountains. Nobody came to rescue her, and she did not even see any sign of life in that place either. She thought at that moment; she was alone in that vast cold place!
Not only that, but after her voice faded, some suspicious sounds floated toward her. Kayra was taken aback and stopped shouting as she heard the sound coming from the top of the mountains.
Realizing the anomaly, Kayra gulped down hard and blinked her eyes innocently.
'Did I cause an avalanche?'
In the next moment, as if to prove her right, many giant balls of ice ran down towards her direction from the peaks. The ground continued to shake and ice fell from the tree branches which were above her mummified body. The soft ice entered her nose, mouth, and ice covered her body in no time.
"Wuak… Thoo!" Kayra spat out the ice and helplessly waved her body. She looked like a white cocoon.
Wriggle~ Wriggle~ Wriggle~
Currently, she was hanging upside down by a branch of a Christmas tree. Her whole body was covered in soft ice, looking like a big cocoon hanging by the tree.
Kayra's teeth clattered and her whole body shuddered because of the bone-chilling coldness and wind. She glanced at the gigantic Deluna in the night sky and sighed.
The whole mountain range was lit up by its bright light and the raging air blew past her cold body.
All the horror movies she had watched in her past life flashed in front of her eyes.
"Wuwuwu! I am so scared!"

After struggling for a long time, finally, Kayra succeeded in freeing herself. But in the next second, she found herself planted in the ice ground by her head.
Her whole body twisted while her main body fell to the icy ground. She took out her head and spat out a large amount of ice which went into her mouth again.
"Next time, I should seal my lips if I see any ice around me!" Kayra fisted her palms and swore! She stood up by the support of the Christmas tree and leaned against it.
Her desperate eyes glanced around at the deserted mountains and for a moment, she was lost as to what to do. After thinking for a while, she glanced in a random direction and walked on it.
Guru~ Guru~
Kayra's belly growled in hunger and it was already the fifth time it had happened. She stopped for a brief moment and couldn't help but look down at her belly.
"The stomach is flatter than the airport… Sigh!" After whispering, Kayra crouched down on the ground. Her red eyes stared at the ice in a daze.
[Um… host?]
The baby voice called out in her mind. Phiphi was curious about her actions.
After a while, Kayra scooped up ice in her two hands and stuffed it in her mouth.

Kayra didn't care about hygiene or whatever. With difficulty, she gulped down the ice and went into a daze. Phiphi thought that because of hunger, its host had become stupid!
The system watched for a moment as its host shivered after gulping down that lump of ice. Earlier, It wanted to say that Kayra didn't need to eat anything as it could help her overcome hunger.
"Phiphi… huhu~ it's so cold! I will freeze to death!" Kayra groaned as she tried to walk ahead. Her eyes were firm as she treaded on ice and thought with a resolution, 'I have to live on no matter what!'
Right that moment, the system saw the helpless yet unyielding side of Kayra and felt something in its underdeveloped heart.

For the first time, it felt that the host wasn't that… stupid!
Phiphi forcefully suppressed the frantic beat of its heart. When it saw Kayra's shaking legs, for a moment, it felt its host was pitiful.

As soon as Phiphi's voice rang out in her mind, Kayra nearly tripped on the ground. Luckily she controlled herself and stood straight. With a swollen face, she swatted ice from her dress.
Then she closed her eyes and glared at the pearl-shaped system in her mind space. Kayra was still feeling extremely cold in her body because of eating ice and this system only opened its mouth now?
