We began our descent, Lucas heading down first and Joey following behind me being last. He seemed like he wasn't so on board with it but he agreed to follow me. As his big brother, it was my job to look out for him. I wasn't gonna let my parents decide who he was going to marry. Clearly, the girl didn't want this either. Linda was Mia and I couldn't be happier that she was. When my parents forced us all to go over Lucas's house. I was siked to see my old bestie. But I didn't like the circumstances it was under. We needed to get away from that. Maybe we could start a new life on the ground. Our parents wouldn't come down here. They would be too scared of the Fepetaineshadows. They would have to learn to live with out us if they think they can control us. It was bit of a climb down but all made it to the ground quietly enough. Joey whispered. "Are you guys sure we can be doing this?" Lucas and I simultaneously shushed him. He was smart enough to take the hint. I wrapped my tail around his.. So that we would stay linked and i wouldn't lose this fool. Then I motioned for him to follow behind me. Lucas watched our interaction with a smirk on his face. He was definitely going to make fun of me for this later. And I would indeed have to kick his ass but that would be fun too. I lead the way, crouched and fast walking among the trees listening and keeping an eye out for any Fepetaineshadows.

We made it to the place we used to call home. Got there a lot faster than I expected and Joey was surprisingly quiet. That was till we had just reached the door to it and Joey exclaimed loudly, "Whoa, Cool." Lucas and I rushed everyone inside. We both covered his mouth as if him just breathing would bring all hell upon us. It was soundproofed by us from before but we weren't sure if it needed repairs. I kept up with it but not as much as I had liked. And there was only so much sound proofing you could do with a log cabin. We had nothing but trees for miles mostly to use for material. There was also a few caves that i had found in Lucas's absence. He didn't need to know rhe stuff I found in there. Its still a decent cabin to be living in. We brought plenty of things down from the treetop village to keep us occupied. We made sure we had everything we would need for when we came back to the place. It has been some time since i've been here and even longer since Lucas. We checked out the whole place, it was clear. We had no Fepetaineshadows as a problem. The place did need some cleaning done. And we had a leak in one of the rooms. Specifically was foremost known as Lucas's bedroom. It would take some time to clean up the place and fix thar leakage and the hole in his room. "Well, welcome to our bachelor pad, little brother. We have work to do first. I can not explain this enough. You must keep the volume low." I said keeping my voice low. "Yeah, okay. I get it." Joey said back keeping the same volume. "Good. Now Lucas. You stay here and watch our darling lil baby here." I ruffle joeys hair. "Ewww bro gross." Lucas said. "We're not his dads. And I never agreed to be watching the kid." He scoffed. I had already began creeping to the door. "Nope, can't hear you already on my way out. Be good, lovelies." I cracked an evil smile. "Bye, bye honey." Deliberaelty getyting under Lucas's skin. Before he could argue, I snuck back out making sure the coast was clear.
