"Well, I thought i can't fight..."

[Zhao-lin-zheng forests, somewhere north to the Qing county]

"Heh...I told you my plan will work out somehow..."-Yun answered as he heard Dai Fu's report of the victorious armies at Si-po and Shang-Dian-Zhen.

He was back from Si-po to escort his master to Lady Zhao; for whom in Yun's eyes, she was a pretty mysterious lady whose unpredictability always makes him think one more time to work with her- even if, it was seemingly true that she was on his side.

"Well, Lord- it was like a serious gamble for us there in the battle; Almost each one of your predictions has come true in today's war- I hope the Mongols and their khitan dogs would now keep their shoes off from us for some time."- Dai fu exclaimed as he galloped side by side Yun with a dozen of soldiers behind him.

"I hope so- If I could have, I may even have changed this dynasty's fate too-"- Yun murmured slowly as he thought of the fact that in just some years, these people would be the slaves of the Mongol reign of terror.

"....Yeah? Did you said something just now?"- Dai Fu asked as he noticed Yun's unhearable murmuring.

"It's nothing...Well- I hope this would keep their armies to be halted for a while.", Yun clarified in retaliation, not letting Dai fu realize the reality of their fate, what he knew.

...

"Looks like we've reached the place.", Yun asked Dai fu, as he saw some light on the brink of the badly trodden path he and his companions were on for a while.

"Yeah...My Lord! They are here."- Dai fu answered Yun, increasing the pace of their horses.

Soon, They reached the place where- with a handful of soldiers, Zhang and Zhao were waiting for Yun. It was a day with a hard end for these two persons, who had to fight out the whole khitan army back to the banks of San-li; Something which had made the Khitan leaders defect and return to the north.

"Congratulations! Our General Yun- You got back your military seal!", Zhao spoke out whimsically as Yun got down the horse he had hardly been having control of.

*FACT- RSK doesn't know horseriding. He somehow got on it and as the horse he rode on was a trained one, he somehow made it to move- Afterall they were just moving with a cantering speed.*

"Ha-Ha! Well, I guess someone pulled up the strings for me."-Yun smirked as he realized the sudden return of the Military seal back to him was none other than a quirky effort of Lady Zhao to help him get back where he was.

"Strings? Well, the Emperor is no Luthier- Because he is the one who ordered me to let you keep it back."- Zhao answered putting on a deadpan face.

"Woah!...", Yun faked a freaky face, As it became clear to him that his prediction was right as he heard that the emperor had specially given the seal to Zhao to send it to him.

"Well, General Yun must be happy now getting the position back he had before.", Zhang spoke out jokingly as Yun turned his freaky face towards him.

'Heh...It would have been better if I never got that back- Well since it is back, I fear it would bring the problems which follow the streams of power flow.'- Yun thought in his mind as he heard of the words of appraisals from both of his allies, at least- seemingly though.

...

Suddenly-

A soldier beside Zhang fell with a 'thud' sound.

Something was wrong here-

"What happened to him?"

All the eyes went towards the direction from which the sound came.

Again, a sound of multiple steady footsteps suddenly started floating all around Yun and the people with him- almost making Yun feel something was incredibly off at the place.

The sounds rustled on- and things kept becoming mystical by every successive moment before the eyes of Yun as-

Suddenly, Yun realized all the soldiers which were with them, were now lying on the ground, with blood spurting off from each of their necks- making them unable to make even a little of sound to be noticed by the only standing people there- Yun, Zhao, Dai Fu and Zhang.

All of a sudden- the sounds stopped.

"Who is there? Come out and stop playing tricks!", Dai Fu shouted as he became anxious about the direction from which the sounds had become damped.

"Shhh!", Zhang gestured to Dai Fu as he tried to concentrate his sense to find the source of the sounds.

...

As this mystery was brewing before everyone's eyes, Yun was standing beside the other three- almost at the centre- frozen with the sounds seeming to have caused his face to get ashened with worry and fear.

He was never so close to a threat that was not even visible to him- and the sudden transition of the lively place to a bloody place was too much for him.

"Calm down, Yun! Don't make that troubled face to be bestowed upon that hell of a threat."- Zhao whispered jokingly at Yun.

But, he didn't answer a single word in reply.

He was in fear, trouble and worried. But, somehow these things kept sparking his sense of reality.

The reality, which was far more bloody than what it seemed to him.

.

.

"Yun! He is next to you!"

All of sudden, a sword came hissing before Yun's face- directed to slash his neck just like the soldiers fallen on the ground.

For Yun-

It was just before his face, coming at a speed he can't even imagine predicting-

It was like the death roaring over his ashened face, which became suddenly helpless again like what had happened before to him.

He knew this feeling before.

It was just the same as when he was suddenly thrown in between these 1st Millenials.

He closed his eyes and thought of his hometown- which now seemed impossible for him to even think of returning to it.

...

...

A moment of silence followed his senses-

'Am I dead?'

-'No.'

He slowly opened his eyes.

The hand carrying the sword was stopped.

Just by a hand right before his face.

And that hand was his own.

He had blocked it.

The death, at the brink of his life!

'Well! I thought I can't fight....'
