CHAPTER 49

"Are you serious?" Zane gasped listening to my story carefully. I didn't hide anything. I explained from Hagalbar's warning to Luke's secret rendezvous with a Baskerville. Both of us were sitting on the bed leaning our back to the headboard resting.

"I know you cannot trust me, because he's your best friend after all" I said understanding him. If I was at Zane's place, I also cannot believe that my best friend would betray me after staying with this long time.

"Yeah, that's what. I still cannot believe and also I do really trust you too" He ran his fingers through his hair.

"Hey, relax" I pulled his hand out from his hair and let it rest on his lap.

"Hmm, so what about the terrible nightmare you have seen?" Zane whose head was down all the time met my eyes finally coming to the point which he wanted to know in the first place.

"The war, tomorrow" I took a deep breath and looked at him. "Let me show you"
