CHAPTER 08

Next day, I woke up at six in the morning. Since it was the weekend, I have no school. I just washed my face and brushed my teeth before going out for a walk. I took my earbuds to listen to music and continued walking after leaving a note at the counter for Ethan.

While I was enjoying music, I had a journey throughout my different thoughts continuing the walk. I really had so many weird dreams. Not weird at all, but they aren't nightmares. I have seen so many things with Zane in my dream. Like going for a date, spending time with him and also going to school. But the environment was a bit different in my dreams. If I could know what my dreams meant after all, it would be sort of a relief to my mind. I remembered Zane's kiss yesterday. Does he love me? Probably because he sees his wife from me. Am I rebound or really his dead wife? Oh!!!! Very complicated. Why did he kiss me suddenly, he knows that who am I and I really don't want to be in a relationship currently yeah. But I saw something in his eyes. First day I met him at the party his eyes were unbelievable in what he was seeing. Then the day he talked with me, his eyes were dull, broken and full of pain But, yesterday, he was emotional and like asking for something which I couldn't understand. Does he expect me to love him back? Oh no!!! He didn't even say he loves me. Oh! what happened to you Ellie, do you love him? Yes.... No... Yes... I don't know. I think I have feelings for him but don't know if it is love or what.

"Hey Ellie!!! Good morning girl" someone greeted interrupting the ocean of my thoughts. I felt one of my earbuds was taken off. I turned around and saw Ned behind me with a wide smile with Harrison. I removed my earbuds and greeted them back.

"Hey Ned.... Hi Harry!!! Good morning" I said like I was caught in the middle of something.

"Are you walking?" Harry asked.

"No!!! I'm cooking" I mocked making them laugh before both joining me for walking.

"So, Ellie!!! What's up? We saw you and Zane was hanging out throughout the last week" Ned smiled. "Both of you hiding anything from us?"

"Ahh!!! What?" I asked

"Dating" Harry stated. His hair was put into a pigtail and it made him a little hot actually.

"Ewww no!!!! You mad nuts, I have never thought of dating someone" I remarked. Both of them look at each other confused.

"Reason?" Ned asked with the same confusion.

"Ex!!!! When you are broken, you are always afraid of being in another relationship right?"

"Yes, I agree," Harrison acknowledged and Ned nodded.

Then we walked without talking for a few seconds until I remembered the dreams.

"Hey guys, do you know a place that gives meaning to the dreams we see?" I asked, breaking the silence.

"Suddenly?" Ned asked.

"Just, I have nightmares and also some unbelievable dreams. That's why" I said.

"I think I know a place," Harry said. "But we need to know something. I don't know whether you like to talk about this"

"We???" Ned raised his brow.

"Go ahead buddy!!!" I said

"Are you related to Eleazar?" Harry asked and Ned smacked his elbow on Harry's rib. "Hey don't do that, it's hurting" Harry whined, rubbing his rib as I giggled.

"Sort of" I shrugged my shoulders. They again looked at each other. "Well, Ethan said I'm a reincarnation of Eleazar which makes me so uncomfortable to be honest. And, I know you will ask one day."

"How?" Ned asked "You witch can predict the future?"

"I don't know about that. But I see confusion in your face whenever you guys see me. The king was also like that. He twice looked at Zane then me, then Zane then me" I shrugged.

"So you know the story?" Ned asked

"The shot to death?" I asked. They again looked at each other which made it funny to look at them like that. They both nodded. "Yes!!! Zane married Eleazar. When she was pregnant, she was shot to death"

"Ohhh!!!!" Both of them sounded unison.

"That's a nightmare I see since I was young, guys" I explained in a sad tone "That's why I asked about that place"

"I'll tell" Harry said. He explained where the place was and how to go. After that we exchanged our phone numbers in case I need help to find the place. I told them to just keep this as a secret between us and they agreed. I went home leaving them. I had a shower once I got home. I dried my hair and dropped a message to Patrick through WhatsApp.

Ellie: Hey good morning loser!!!

Pat: Good Morning

Ellie: Are you free today?

Patt: No

Ellie: Are you angry with me?

Pat: No

Pat: Why

Ellie: Just, you are talking like ignoring me

Pat: I have all my rights to ignore someone

Ellie: What? Are you okay Pat?

Pat: Eleanor, please mind your own business and bother your new friends. Bye

He went offline.

Ellie: Sorry

What the hell just happened? He has seen the last message but no reply. I just wanted to go to that place with him since he is the one I can trust. I didn't want Ethan to know these things. But why does Patt act like this? This is the first time I saw him like this. Guess something is wrong with him. Okay, I think I have to ask him. I dialed Harry's number. He answered.

"Hey!!! wait" Harry said. I heard the noise of two or three people laughing. "Hi!!! I'm at Zane place, tell Ellie"

"Hey, I need a favor from you," I said. "Can you come with me?"

"Yeah sure!!! Time?" Harrison asked

"Oh, thanks a lot Harrison!!! From another 30 minutes"

"Yeah sure, I'll be there at your home"

I hung up the phone after thanking him again. Now, I have to think about what I should tell Ethan.

I went down to have breakfast. "Good Morning little fella" Ethan greeted while arranging the table.

"Good morning big fella" I giggled.

We had a little talk and I told him I'm going out with Harry to buy a gift for his mum.

"Why were you red yesterday?" Ethan asked

"Uhm, uhh" I stuttered not knowing how to tell "Ethan, I.. no, I mean Za--, No no, it was because of the heat" I sighed as I was successful to finish the sentence.

"I take it as a lie that looks like the truth" Ethan rolled his eyes.

"Zane kissed me," I said. I know this is kind of an uncomfortable thing to talk about with a brother. After that he didn't say anything. Once I finished breakfast, I went out to catch Harry. He was on the way to our home.

"Hi!!" He greeted me.

"Hey"I hugged him back. Then we continued to go where we needed to go.
