At the airport

S City

Yiyang woke up from the flight attendant's voice saying they are about to land in S City. It has been two years since she left S City. Now, she is coming back under her parent's plea that the company needs her.

As she is finding her way out of the airport to find their chauffeur, different emotions and memories flashed through her mind. She felt a bit of happiness she is finally home. She felt sadness because she knew she could not be free anymore as she is in A country. She felt pain and hurt at the same time that she cannot understand why she is feeling that way.

Just then, a crying little girl rushed to her. "Mummy! Why did you only come now? Do you really not want me and my brother?"

Yiyang was at a loss at the little girl's outburst. But seeing the little girl cry made her heart clench in pain too. She leaned down and coaxed the crying girl, "Little girl, are you lost? I'm sorry but I am not your mummy."

Seeing how the woman replied, the crying kid cried even more. "Those people are right then. Mummy doesn't like me!"

Yiyang did not know what to do anymore. She did not even know how to coax children but she did not know what got into her to hug the little girl. "How could that be? You're cute and pretty. I'm sure you will look prettier if you smile. Can you smile for me and stop crying now, hmm?"

Hearing this, the little girl stopped crying and began to smile. As the little girl was to say something, the girl's nanny interrupted and said to the little girl, "Oh my, Xiaozhuo where have you been?"

Noticing the little girl is not looking at her, the nanny finally noticed Yiyang. "Oh, I'm so sorry, miss. This child must have troubled you a lot. I'm really sorry."

Relieved that the little girl was found now, Yiyang replied with a smile, "It's okay. She really didn't trouble me."

"Thank you. We'll take our leave then." The maid replied and carried the child who seemed reluctant in leaving and would cry in any moment.

Yiyang felt sad seeing the little girl leave. She found it weird but she was not able to ponder more on it when the chauffeur called her. "Miss Xu? Shall we go to the main house now to see the Master and the Madam?"

"Let's go then."
