Chapter 6: I'm pregnant

Samira walked happily into her boyfriend's office opening the door wide to see him talking to a client.

"I'm sorry." She whispers.

"it's okay." Aaron says and gestures for hwe to seat on the sofa.

About 20 minutes later, the conversation ended and Aaron and the client left leaving Samira all alone. Aaron came back in after a few minutes shutting the door.

"I missed you, how was your day?" He asks pecking her on the cheek.

"mine was good." She smiles.

"babe I have good news." She smiles and opened her handbag bringing out a brown envelope.

"what's this?" He asks peeling off the seal and opened the letter. Aaron reads the letter with all seriousness, then he smiles raising up his hands.

"you're pregnant." He asks smiling.

"yes love, I'm pregnant." She replies.

"you don't know how happy you've made me." He says and hugs her tightly.

"thanks Samira because with this pregnancy grandpa will have my back always and if it's a boy, I might get the post of the CEO since had given him an heir let's see how Ethan will react." He smiled at his thoughts still hugging her.

A month had passed as Diana had became perfect in her job and decided to go shopping one after. She arrived at the mall heading to the sanitary department, she wanted to buy some toiletries and a gift for her brother who would be returning today.

As she walked down to the toiletries stand, she about to grab a sanitary napkin she remembered she was late.

"shit! I didn't use any morning after pills that night." She thought.

"I need to get a pregnancy slip." She thought and walked over to the pharmacy and told the assistant she wanted a pregnancy slip. The assistant wrapped it and she paid. She ran out of the pharmacy as fast as her legs could take. She ran to the Mall's restroom. She tore open the wrap and after reading the instructions. she did the test.

Diana was sweating profusely, hoping that the test will be negative, she held the paper as her head spinned when she saw two bright red lines. Tears flooded her eyes. she didn't take a second glance she threw the slip out in the dustbin and walked out of the building, She got into her car and started the ignition and drove off.

"so any news of the client." Ethan asks checking his watch as he got out of the elevator he bumped into someone.

"can't you see." Ethan growls.

"I'm sorry brother in law." Samira smiles deliberately holding her flat tummy.

"it's you, Oscar what's her name again?" Ethan asks snapping his fingers.

"sir this is Miss Stewart, your cousin's girlfriend." Oscar says.

"nice meeting you but I got to go now, bye!" She said waving her manicured fingers.

"find more information about her, she might be related to Diana." Ethan says and walks away leaving Oscar behind.
