Chapter 214
A black Bentley pulled up by the seaside, where condos were being delivered by ships. Charles quickly got out of the car and hurried to the scene.
When he arrived, what he saw left him speechless.
Blood was everywhere. Some men had been killed in brutal ways—hands and legs chopped off, some even had their eyes gouged out.
"What... what is this?" Charles whispered, trying to catch his breath.
One of the men nearby spoke up, his voice shaky. "Sir, we found this mess this morning. I got a call from one of the guys, but before he could say anything, the call was cut off."
"And what did you do after the call ended?" Charles asked, his voice growing cold. He turned to look at the man, who hesitated, knowing what Charles might do if he said the wrong thing.
"I'm asking you a question!" Charles shouted.
The man swallowed hard and finally spoke up. "I... I thought he was just joking."
