Mr Smith was smiling graciously at himself in the huge wall mirror in the living room of the Walters. He had expected that Walter's house would be magnificent but he never thought he would be walking into heaven on earth. In his heart, he concluded that they had money. The kind he needed to tap from.

Everything was so orderly. Everyone knew what to do and when to do it. It was just perfect.

He came bearing so many gifts. At a point, he feared the nightmare he would face when he wanted to offload everything but the servants had helped him before he could even ask them. Everything was parked in an orderly manner waiting for its owner.

After that, Mr Smith was served like a king. His visit wasn't supposed to be a big deal –even if he had exaggerated with his gifts, Old Walter had a feast waiting. Or was this how they welcomed everyone?
