Chapter 138 Consider it done

Jasmine stood hopelessly watching the news on the TV screen. 

She bit her bottom lips and made a tight fist. What she was watching was frustrating.

Steve was having an interview with the press and she could tell that everything was wrong with it. Mr. A or whatever his name was, was messing with everyone.

She could smell him everywhere in each word Steve spat!

"Bastard!" She cursed. 

She would have loved to help Steve out of this miserable situation but she was even in the worst state.

"Bastard!" She hissed out again. Her knuckles were turning white from fisting too hard.

She couldn't believe their lives were now decided by some packs of jerks! 

Including her useless father! The man couldn't stand for himself, despite the money and influence he had in the city. 

It was all worthless!

All this was her fault. 

She put Steve and Laura in a complete mess. It was so deep that they both couldn't escape from it.
