Amanda's P.O.V
The D-day is finally with us here!
When I talk about the D-day, I mean the Le Grande is here!
As I step my left foot out of the car followed by another. The calming weather of the city was soothing and the wind calmly dancing on my face.
Ha, I looked like my hard work, my toil for the past one week and a half bear their fruits. The fruits were blooming, so juicy so pretty.
I stepped on the red carpet I had ordered, damn, they could have just gotten a fake one. The beautiful flowers were neatly arranged by the church.
I looked like my bodyguards, sweet their fine body up and down to make sure that I was not squeezed or squashed by the paparazzi or the audience whom I know might want my head on a plate.
Ha, in your dreams.
Emma was next to me. This beautiful woman that I wanted to be here today, a friend to support you during such a time! No one likes her. She made sure all my designs whether clothes, house or party things were ready and available in time. I wish I could shout how grateful I am to him.
Looking inside the church, the view was spectacular. The bowls were replaced with gold ones and the stands were prettily made.
I took a peek at my daughter and admired how amazingly she loved the place. I know she has never been in a church, but this was for her to make sure that she has a memory of a church before this one also disappears from her head like the other ones that have started hiding And going astray.
I tore my gaze away before she finds me smirking at her cunningly. And looked at the priest at hand. He was old. Just like I know him to be. Takes long than usual to have things done and I can't change anything about that.
The music was appealing to the ears. The school team had taken extra time to work on the music themselves. "How lovely!" I thought while taking the next step.
Walking in the procession, I was imagining what good thing I will say about Brown. I wondered if I say he was a loving husband, caring, would they have some empathy or they will still look at me with dagger eyes the way they are now?
I know better than to shame his name in public. That may end up making my dress yellow, sticky and with a foul egg smell that I will get from people as an applauding.
Let me check my brain as I think of a seductive way to praise brown in his coffin, make it attractive like never before until the crowd will feel me.
Just one-two more steps and I see your body, Brown.
I want to see you rot inside that gold coffin that cost me money. I want to laugh at your legacy, at what you try to build thinking that you knew everything. You used to brag about how intelligent you are and how great you are destined to go...
"Mrs Clank, please move forward with your daughter for the viewing," requested the priest.
I looked at Daniella and pulled her hands forward so that she can bid her good for nothing dad 'goodbye'.
His body was nothing like the Brown I knew. His beautiful face was drained and her cheeks were too fat for his type.
Daniella looks at Rob and gives me a questionable face. She doesn't know how a monk her dad was. I just used that Rob to humiliate his feelings inside that grave. There was nothing important about Rob and Brown.
Brown was a nobody, just a hormonal deprived boy who wanted to express the things that were not around. He wanted to go for stars when all he could reach for were the apples under the Apple tree, haha poor boy.
"So, where were we Brown? The truth is I wanted you dead. Your extinction is a big win for me. You have made me free, free from all the chains that have beholding and chocking me almost to death. You talked about values, what is value? You talked about rules that are put in place, what are rules without breaking some of them? I managed to break some of them, and look at this place, so beautiful because of those bent rules. I have brought people together and they are filling this wall like bees who want to make honey. Yes, they want honey, good honey. Am going to give them the honey that they want without failure. Tell them of how good you were, a special dad you were to our daughter, just for show! Just for show baby! Because when this is over it's going to be AMANDA once more in their mouths. Imagine the only thing you are enjoying right now is being shown off to a crowd in an expensive suit and a gold coffin that's going to be weevils And rats good in few days, I don't care about that, all I want is to show people how great we can make this country great once again, without you being on the way for such greatness." I bent down and threw some spite on him. Wait you thought I was going to kiss his forehead? Arghhhhh, I've never and I would never do that!
After viewing his body we sat down. I checked for the hand sanitiser from my purse and quickly wiped his bad odour off my delicate hands.
Daniella didn't even bother to touch him. She just admired the beautiful golden coffin her dad was in and I know she is proud of what I did. She was busy looking at her dad's eulogy which I know she will need more understanding about all those people around.
"We are now going to allow the congregation to view the body, please we are going in order. Brow's family will follow next," said the priest very calm manoeuvring on the table.
I watched as Brown's 'parents' and two 'siblings walk to the alter in their beautiful embroider clothes. They looked expensive because I wanted them to look expensive. If not for me they would have been still in their stupid blown clothes.
Wait, these are not Brown's siblings. That bitch did steven have a father who could teach him sense. He was a street boy whom I raised but didn't want to be straight like everyone else. He was a wayward person and did not pain attention. So when you hear that his 'parents and siblings that is a scam. People here are for show.
Those are my people whom I have been tailoring to act as dad and mum since finding his resemblance was like looking for a needle in a haystack.
Why am I even telling you this? This is too much tea to spill and zipping it now till later.
The family gathered around, mourning their lost brother crying a river.
"Good actors," I thought. I mean am paying them expensively, but the show they giving people is definitely worth an Oscar Award. 'Bravo!'
They cried for some time until the crowd felt them. The school choir quickly put a song in between to even bring their emotions higher than I anticipated. "Seems Davids was not a jerk, after all, I just want to see her face and her family if they are worth the salt," I thought as I wiped the loose tear at the edge of my eyes. These motherfuckers want to make me cry when I don't want to.
I watched as they finish their drama and head in our direction. Daniella just looked at them amused with how they look.
One thing about Daniella is, make something look appealing, fantastic and very good dramatized. She will believe in that situation. That's why she is going to accept that these are His uncles and aunts who have come to mourn their brother, their wicked brother!
I couldn't see the reactions on her face as she shook their hands. What I know is that she was trying all her best to look like a civilised human of the century just like she is supposed to be.
They were talking to Daniella about being relatives, I know just as we had prepared their scripts that is how things were supposed to go. Daniella in turn nodded with what they were saying. Bet they told her about the fucking Rob, I don't know what to explain about a monk's robe to her later.
After talking to her about what lasted like forever, it's not like I cared what they were telling her, I knew very well that they couldn't move out of the topic. They moved next to me and spoke to me some fingering words and I just nodded wiping nothing for tears in my eyes to deceive the crowd who were looking at the intimate in-law process that was going on.
