SUDDEN VISIT

The old man was none other than Elder Yoshida. He was practically glaring at Alex.

As soon as Alex stepped on the stairs, he roared, "What do you think you are doing coming so abruptly into my home?"

Sakura jumped and looked at him. She was a bit scared of high-pitched voices.

"That's not what I expected," Alex said without being offended. "I thought you would be happy to see me after complaining the other day."

"Hmph! Who said you can bring a woman home–" Elder Yoshida's voice stuck and couldn't say anything anymore.

Sakura was a bit afraid of people who yelled like Mateo. She cautiously looked at him.

The moment her eyes met the elder, both of them were startled and froze at the spot.

"Kid?"

"Gramps?"

Both said at the same time.

Alex was stunned. "Do you know each other?"

Elder Yoshida coughed and looked away. "I don't know what you mean."
