(SEOKJIN'S POV)
Throughout the ride, I thought about how can we face this situation without freaking out more than we already did. Three or four of us could go first and, if everything's okay, the others could come as well. Even though what Jimin said made me think, I want to stay positive. Maybe Red Men is not only in Seoul, but what astonish me more is that they're not supposed to know our human appearances. How were they able to recognize Namjoon?
I park the van near our flat, I don't want them to see also our vehicle if they're here. Right now is the only thing we've.
"Let's do this." Yoongi says, opening the door.
"Wait, I've an idea." I say.
Yoongi closes the door and I feel all eyes on me. "Four of us need to stay here and the other ones go check the dorm. If everything's fine, we can stay. And if it's not. . ."
"Good idea." Namjoon undo the belt.
"You're staying here." I look at him and he's already sighing. "You're still injured."
"But I feel good."
"Namjoon." I stare at him. He rolls his eyes, turning his head towards the window.
"I'm coming." Hoseok says.
"Then I'm also in." Yoongi says.
"If you want I can-"
"Don't worry Jimin, I'll go." I cut him. "Stay here with them. They'll need you here."
"I know how to fight." Taehyung says, frowning.
"I know Tae, but I feel better knowing you're safe here."
He smiles, cutely.
We walk slowly, looking around until we're in front of the high flat. We enter and everything looks peaceful. We don't have any trouble with the lift and, seconds later, we finally find ourselves in front of our principal door.
"It looks fine." I say. There're no traces of force in the door, nor in the knob.
"Let me inspect it, first." Yoongi says.
He sets himself near the door. He looks closely, his face almost touching the wood sour face. He takes his time playing with the knob, turning it gently to each side.
"Everything seems fine." He says. "But now we'll know the real deal."
"Don't you want me to go first?" I ask.
"There's no need to."
He turns around and slowly press the numbers with his index fingers. The little machine lets a loud click and the door gets slightly open. Yoongi opens it fully, pushing the door with his hands.
Hoseok gets near and pokes his head. "I don't see anything weird." He's going to take a step forward when Yoongi grasps his wrist.
"Don't." He states. "We need to pay close attention to the floor."
"Why?"
"Maybe we see footsteps on it."
"Yoongi, we didn't clean it before we left. How will you know it's not our footsteps?" I say.
He sighs. "You've a point."
"Let's get inside." Hoseok says.
The living room and the kitchen look the same. There's no food missing nor objects. While Yoongi and Hoseok check their own rooms and the others I go to Namjoon's.
I open the closet, my eyes fixed in the drawer. I grab the pile of papers, they're here. I look quickly at them and I don't see anything missing. The most important ones are here, too. I let out a sigh of relief.
I meet the boys in the living room minutes later. They're looking around, but everything looks fine.
"I checked the windows, they're not damaged." Yoongi says. "I don't think anybody has broken in here."
"Agree." Hoseok says. "What if the ones who attacked Namjoon were only robbers?"
"It makes sense. But how do you explain the mess in our hotel rooms?" Yoongi questions.
"Yeah. I don't know about that." Hoseok scratches his nape.
"You can stay here, I'm going to let the boys know." I say, looking one more time around, paying attention to the walls.
"You sure, hyung?" Hoseok says.
I nod. "Do you want to start making dinner? I'm starving." I smile.
(YOONGI'S POV)
We use the glass table once again to eat dinner together, as a family. I made soup, we all need to eat something warm after these chaotic days.
"When are we going to keep up with the training?" Jungkook asks.
"After Joon gets better." Seokjin says, before his boyfriend can utter a word.
"When are you going to get better, hyung?" Taehyung says, playing with the spoon.
"Soon Taehyungie." Namjoon smiles. "When the king says something, I'm going to ask him if we can contact professor Choi, I think you need her help."
"It's going to save our lives." Jungkook says. "I miss her, she was the best."
"Can we ask for a few books, too? Ms. Choi used them sometimes." Hoseok asks.
"We'll do everything we can." Namjoon says. "Until the King replies, we're going to practice and improve what we already know."
(NAMJOON'S POV)
Seokjin helps me put my pyjamas on, even though I don't need it - I'm able to dress and undress myself. He also has the first-aid kit ready in the bedside table, he's the one who's going to clean my scar from now on.
"Lay on your back, please." He says. "It may hurt a little, but I'm going to be fast."
I let out a soft chuckle. "The nurse also did it, it doesn't hurt." He gives me a look. "Sorry, whatever you say." Seokjin can be intimidating, but that doesn't remove the smile on my face.
He wets a piece of cotton with alcohol and slowly presses it on my skin, doing quickly moves with his wrists. I hold my breath as soon as he starts - it does hurt.
"I know it stings, I'm almost done." He says, with empathy in his voice.
"Yeah, take your time." I let out through my mouth all the air I was holding.
A few seconds later, he stops all his movements. "Done." He throws the fabric in the bin under the desk.
I'm going to ask if he's sure he did it correctly, but I know I'm going to get in trouble so I change the question. "Why it didn't hurt in the hospital? It's not fair."
"You had sedatives, remember?"
I nod, sighing. "Now all makes sense."
Once Seokjin's done cleaning the room, he puts himself under the covers next to me, clinging in my arm.
"I missed this." He hums.
"You're not the only one." I turn myself slowly to the side, my right side pressing against the mattress. I embrace his little waist with my arm.
I low my head until our foreheads and noses are touching. "Hi."
"Hi." He smiles.
I close my eyes, breathing slowly as I feel at ease with him next to me. "Don't ever do that again, okay? You can talk to me always."
"I know." He murmurs.
I caress his nose with mine and I place a kiss on his cheeck. "Everything's going to be all right. We can go to the end of the world, that I'm going to be okay as long as you're by my side."
"You're my everything, angel. Remember, you're the person I love the most in the whole world." He pecks my lips, "And no one ever has loved me as much as you do."
His words make my heart flutter and a big smile shows up on my face. "No one ever will love you as much as I do, love."
We keep talking about our feelings. We never get tired of showing our love towards each other, but sometimes, in nights like this, words are enough. Words with short kisses and soft caresses in the middle.
