UNKOWN PAST

(HOSEOK'S POV)

We eat breakfast in the hotel. I've to choose between kimchi toast or kimchi eggs, but to be honest I want both.

"Here you've." Yoongi puts a plate of kimchi egg in front of me.

"Thank you." I smile to myself. "You didn't have to." I look at my hands. Maybe I should grab the fork.

"We're still celebrating your birthday." He sits next to me, he has ordered Kimchi toast for him.

"Nice necklace." Jungkook says, winking.

I don't know if that wink is directed to me or not. "It's Yoongi's gift." I explain.

"I want one of that for my birthday." Taehyung says.

"Keep dreaming."

"Don't be mean Yoongi." Jimin says.

Yoongi chuckles, taking a bite of his breakfast.

"Can I try it?"

He looks at me and then at the toast. He grabs it, bringing it near my face. I try it, putting a hand on my mouth quickly.

Someone laughs.

I look at them, but some of them are eating and the others keeping a straight face.

"I've good news," Taehyung says, with a boxy smile. Nobody says anything, so he keeps talking. "Jungkook and I. . . Are best friends again!" He embraces Jungkook, his arm around the younger shoulders.

"You are? Since when?" Jimin asks, confused. Nevertheless, he has a smile on his face.

"Since yesterday." Taehyung says.

"Yesterday night."

"Why I didn't know this? I was there, too." Jimin rest his fists on the table.

"He was in the bathroom." Jungkook explains.

"Whatever, I'm glad everything is solved now." Jimin takes a sip, but he chokes as soon as Namjoon says,

"Seokjin and I broke up."

"Oh no, why?" Taehyung pouts, dropping the fork on the table.

"We don't need to do a drama about it. We live together and I thought you deserved to know."

"But, hyung, you've been always together." Taehyung insists, his lips dropping.

Namjoon clears his throat. "Sometimes it's better to end things, Taehyung." He says, calmly.

"The way I cut things with Jimin and Jungkook when they did that behind my back?" There's only curiosity in his voice.

"Why are you bringing this up again?" Jimin asks, raising his voice. A small pout appears on his lips.

"Guys, let's just eat. Okay?" Seokjin says. He has been looking at the food all the time. "It's going to get cold."

Nobody utters a single word.

(PARK JIMIN'S POV)

My bare feet touch the sand with every step, and my hand's skimming Taehyung's.

"Do you want to sit for a while?" I ask, looking at the calm water.

He nods, and sits right away. "I was waiting for you to say that."

I giggle. "You could have said it."

He shrugs and pats the empty space next to him.

"Hmm," Taehyung murmurs . "I feel good."

I smile. "May I ask why?"

"Kookie's my best friend again." He smiles.

The wind keeps his bang to a side, his hair looks more fluffy. My Tae Bear is back.

"And I'm pleased," I say. "But, what about us? Do you still want to be my boyfriend?" My voice breaks.

I'm proud of them, I couldn't believe it when they spilled the news. Nevertheless, I've to fix my own relationship, and there's always the possibility Taehyung will want me as a friend from now on.

He wets his lips and looks at me. "Let me think," He rest his hand on his chin. "Does this mean I'm going to get free hugs, free kisses, cuddle nights, massages and hearing you laugh every day? Also, falling asleep next to you?"

I giggle and nod. "Everything you want."

He cups my cheeks. "You won't hurt me again, will you?"

I shake my head. "Not even in your worst nightmares."

"Pinky promise?"

I intertwine our pinkies. "Promise."

I lean closer, cupping his cheeks. "I love you." I whisper.

Our lips meet. I've missed his soft lips a lot. I suck his lower lip, he opens his mouth and he puts his hands on my nape. Mine travel down his waist, keeping him in place. I lean down, deepening the kiss, but Taehyung's back touches the ground. I keep kissing him, but he pulls away.

"Jimin," He whines. His cheeks are reddish, maybe it's because of the heated kiss or in embarrassment. "People will stare at us."

"They can keep staring, I don't care. No one is going to separate me from you." I smile.

He frowns, "But they-"

I attack his lips. At first, he doesn't react, but I feel his smile. "Silly Jimin." He says, between the kiss.

(JUNG HOSEOK'S POV)

I laugh. "Is this even legal?"

"They're young, let them enjoy." Yoongi says.

Taehyung and Jimin making out in the beach, in broad daylight, it's a view. I'm relieved for them, they're the most innocent creatures in this world, even if they don't look like it.

"Forever young, that's what my parents told me."

He hums. "I've never met them."

"No need to."

"You've never told me anything about your human life, actually. You know everything about mine."

"There's nothing interesting. I was just a bored human living a bored life. Third Heaven saved me," I exhale. "Literally." I mumble to myself.

"What?"

"Third Heaven saved us from our useless human lives."

"No. You saved me." His dark eyes stare at me, freely, reaching my soul.

I look down and clear my throat. "I think we've to get going."

"Where?"

I scratch my head. "For a walk?"

"Sounds good."

I start walking, glancing at the couple from time to time. I keep my hands inside my pockets, playing with a few little stones.

"Why you never talk about your past?" Yoongi asks.

I glance at him. "There's nothing important, past is past."

"Yeah, I know. Still, I would like to know how was your life before. You've always been so cheerful, you must have had a beautiful time. Unlike me."

I roll my eyes. "Believe me, there's nothing interesting about it." I fake a smile, taking control of my breath. My stomach makes noises, but they get camouflaged with the street natural sounds.

"If you say so."

I chuckle. "Why do you ask, though? You've never asked."

"You already answered yourself."

I change the topic, asking what has been in my mind all morning. "What about Joon and Jin? I truly believed they were going to get married someday. It's weird, don't you think?"

"I'm not getting inside their love life, I already have my own messes."

I frown. "What's wrong?"

He shakes his head. "Nothing."

"Seokjin kept his necklace, though. Shouldn't he had thrown it away? Or took it off?" I wonder aloud.

"You've a point."

"I bet Namjoon broke up with him."

"Don't assume things you don't know, Hoba." He says, serene.

"Sorry. I only hope nothing change between us."

"Nothing's going to change between us, don't get paranoid."

"Sorry," I whisper.

"Anyway, should I call Charles today? You can join." He shows his gummy smile.

"You like him." I state. It's a truth I've to get used to sooner rather than later.

"He's cool. I'm still testing the waters, I don't want to mess up."

"You would never mess up." I encourage him, avoiding my anxious heart.

"You've always believed more in myself than I do. How do you do it? You should teach me."

"I'm able to see how wonderful you're, Yoongs."

"Do you think I'm wonderful?" He raises his eyebrows.

"I'm your best friend, of course I do." I shrug, pretending it's common.

"Hyungs!" Jungkook yells. He stops in front of us, catching his breath. He leans his arms on his thighs.

"Hey, calm down, boy." Yoongi grabs Jungkook's arm and place it on his own shoulders. I can tell he's laughing on the inside.

However, I see panic coming out of his doe eyes and his lips are dry. "Kookie, what's wrong?"

"Joon- Jin- We-" He says, out of breath. He looks around us. "We're in danger." He keeps breathing hardly, every breath shorter than the last one. "We need to go, now."

Yoongi puts himself in front of Jungkook. "What are you talking about?" He cups his cheeks. "Jungkook, calm down."

"We need to go." He says, between heavy breaths. "Jimin- Taehyung- Where-"

"In the beach." I say. "Namjoon and Jin?"

"Car. They're coming." He bites his lips and closes his eyes.

"Have you ran all the way here?" I ask, grabbing his hand. He nods, quickly.

"I'm going to get them." Yoongi says.

"But Yoongi-" I protest.

"Nothing. Stay with him." He says with a deep voice, grudgingly.

It sends shivers to all my body. He looks around, trying to act normal, as people's still walking with their family, friends or partners, unaware of what's happening.

He runs away, down the sand. I follow him with his eyes.

"Kookie, can you tell me what happened?"

"Later, later." He says. He gets himself together, standing up. "They'll be here soon with the van."

I nod. "Why are we in danger?"

"Guys!" Seokjin yells. I turn around and I see him sitting in the passenger side. "Get inside!"

We run and I throw myself to the back seats. "Can someone tell me what's happening? Why are we in danger?"

Nobody answers, they keep looking at the window where the others are supposed to be.

"Why are they not coming?" Jungkook says, moving his foot up, rapidly.

As he says it, Yoongi comes back with the two lovebirds. Taehyung and Jimin sit next to Jungkook and Yoongi sits beside me.

Namjoon starts driving fast, I don't know if it's even legal in this road. Some of the cars honk.

"Where are we going?" I ask, trying to find some answers.

"Jimin and I were having a good time." Taehyung complaints.

Namjoon snorts heavily. "Someone found us."

"Red Men?" Yoongi asks.

"I don't know, probably." He says, harshly.

"Namjoon, I think I should drive, you're hurt." Seokjin says, keeping the calm in his voice.

"They hurt you, hyung?" Jimin asks.

"What the hell happened, guys?" Yoongi asks, leaning forward. He didn't bother to put on the belt.

"Can you all just shut up!" Namjoon yells.

We all stay still.

Yoongi looks at me.

I hear Taehyung whining softly and Jimin place a kiss on his temple. Jungkook keeps looking out the window and Seokjin looks down, scanning Namjoon's body. Namjoon shifts uncomfortably, and puts a hand on his waist.

What the fuck happened?
