Chapter 8

The sky was getting cloudy and a storm was within reach as Michael and Katrina arrived back home .

Finding the house already unlocked and door wide open as she hurried in thinking someone might have broken in , but to her astonishment , everything was in place and no harm was done , except plenty of packages and shopping bags placed on the living room table and couch leaving not much of space .

She turned around feeling silly for her panicking , as he stood already behind her ,looking down at her tiny self .

" You never seen house deliveries didn't you ,I left the key hidden nearby the door outside ."

That was more like a accurate statement rather a question and she pouted like a child .

" Do you think they made any deliveries in the street I lived in ?"

Realization of misspeaking hit him hard enough as he felt guilty for joking of something so obvious and knowing her situation made it no better at all .

She took the bags as much as she could lift and started carrying upstairs to her room ,nearly tripping in the process .

Not wasting a second thought , Michael took his coat off ,lifting the remaining packages and walked behind carrying to her room as well .

She took all stuff out from the bags , leaving them scattered on the floor one by one as he couldn't slip past noticing how enthusiastic she seemed despite her frightened and upset expressions at the mall .

He enjoyed watching her being so happy , despite manipulating her with lies .It felt less burdersome on his soul ,perhaps from fact she was a lovely distraction or because he slowly started feeling attached to her presence .He didn't knew which was it and that puzzled his mind as much as bothered.

She placed all clothes in her closet and bathroom, as he stood still leaning against the wall ,watching in silence .

Once again she nearly tripped couple of times from exhaustion and hunger building inside her ,but he didn't said a word nor moved until she finished ,and that made her bit awkward , Hoping he wouldn't give her another lecture and would leave quickly as he did before .

But he had no intention of it as she pretended still to organize some things at her bedside table .

Michael rolled his eyes already knowing in instant it was a childish act .

" You're hungry aren't you "another statement instead of question , as he walked across the room pushing her against the wall with no space to move away , keeping her both hands still above her head with only one of his as he leaned in close and she accidentally kicked the bedside table from panicking and the sound switched lights off automatically again.

" Shit,You're clumsy as always " the curtains open was the only dim source of light illuminating the room darkness as he saw her scared face .

" Why you're being so aggressive today ? did I do something wrong ? " a good question but he couldn't answer it to her as it was nothing to blame her for, since he was the one to start all this mess presenting Damien with a test subject .

" You haven't answered about your hunger ,did you knew the sandwiches yesterday had my blood in it ?"

Questions ran through her and it was to visible for him to read it all .

" As a doctor ,you think I didn't knew about your special condition ? do I look stupid to you ,Katrina ?"

Rended speechless for a moment she had to think herself of how he knew .But not a single explanation could be figured .

" What if I'll say I watched you for some time before taking you into my house hmm" a cold snapped tone once again and she shivered ,not hiding the trembling fingers underneath his strong hold .It hurted as she tried to pull her hands away .

"Why would you even do that in first place ?!" not holding back this time she yelled back at him as tears filled her eyes

" Call it pity if you wish " and she had to close her eyes to hide the shame and sadness , feeling as her body grew cold within his touch ,Yet he continued speaking, throwing harsh truth at her face , leaning in closer ,inches from her face .

" The city isn't so big ,and accidents here doesn't happen often ,do you think it takes a genius to figure out a murder of a old man and a girl feeding on rats just couple of blocks away? The police couldn't find any DNR but he was brought to my hospital morgue for investigation,I saw the bite marks Katrina, same as I saw you vomiting out the sandwitches sent by homeless "

The puzzle clicked into it's position as she heard everything she needed to know of those past weeks ,

Her eyes opened , gleaming red bright in the darkness as her pupils was as tiny as one's that belonged for cats.

And he had to restrain himself from backing away from her emotionless face and bloodshot eyes staring directly at his .

" You were the one sending the food "this time it was statement from her and he gulped from hearing the change in tone , no more crying small teenager he could bully around as easily, It was vicious and threatening and he had to doubt if it was still the same Katrina he held pinned to the wall .

" So what if it was me ?"

a small chuckle slipped through her lips as she spoke in low tone " so it was pity then ,hmm" Threatened he pinned her harder ,pressing more weight onto it as pained expression crossed her face slowly turning into anger within seconds .

" How badly hungry are you " he forced himself to ask the same question again .

and cunning beast Infront him knew it wasn't care why he was concerned with her ,it was to suspicious but she needed more evidence while Katrina remained inside of her unconscious and hidden from this harsh reality ,Poor child suffered to much in her eyes ,so she had to take things over when situations got out of hand .

" Starving , where's the injury you drained your blood from into her sandwitches ?"

Surprised yet serious Michael pulled back wondering how she decided to cooperate so easily as well as what she meant by *her , wasn't it Katrina he faced ? he let go of her hands letting it slip down to her sides as he lifted his wrist revealing the cut underneath his shirt sleeve .it already started healing process ,and she scoffed to herself .

"This won't do , it's to small and I'm not in mood for childish games " With that she pressed herself against his body , slipping her hands and wrapping around his neck as she stood on tiptoes and pressed her lips as soft as velvet to his , his eyes been wide from the sudden attack but he didn't dared to step away from it , finally giving in to sensation and closing his eyes in ecstasy ,he wrapped his arms around her waist as she deepened the kiss , slipping her tongue through his lips , luring his like a predator she was ,the heat filled him entirely as she grew more dominant and finally bit his tongue as he pulled out from her embrace stepping away

"What the fuck was that for ?" before another question could come up with ,she pushed him forcing to sit down on bed edge , sitting on his lap before he even blinked and pressed her lips once more to his ,silencing and quarrel he could come up with , He struggled at the start trying to retort and push her away ,but as she opened her eyes slightly staring right at his ,he gave in again ,it was to addicting for him to slip away ,as the kiss deepened once again and his blood started flowing inside her mouth with each tongue dance they did , It lasted for several mins as she pulled away already filled appetite ,as he stared at her in hunger by himself ,She thought of climbing down from his lap as a stone hard boner could be felt stroking lightly under her ass ,That was a warning for her to step back ,But a cunning smirk pulled on his lips as he slipped his hand on back of her head

" Don't you think you deserve a punishment for assaulting innocent man like that ?" A husky deep tone ringed in her ears as she heard it for a first time ,and she decided to play his victim in satisfaction as he pulled her in close for another kiss ,more passionate and desperate then before as his other arm wrapped around her waist ,pulling her close and squeezing her chest against his as she could feel how fast his heartbeat raced ,And she knew ,She won this battle ,no matter how much he would seek to manipulate her ,she found his weakness to use against him ,and so the game started ,Until a doorbell sound was heard downstairs and she pulled back once more ,driven already by heat he forced on her

" You expect someone?"

Annoyed he looked at the door " Not at the moment " His gaze remained fixated on it but he refused to let go anytime soon ,and so they waited still until footsteps could heard clicking up the stairs one after another as heavy as boulder .
