Rick's in the spotlight.
Shock was written all over Fat Peter's face as he sat in the audience and witnessed the scene of Rick's valor. He watched in disbelief as Rick not only managed to protect Rose, but also win her favor.
Peter muttered in his mind, "What's with all the gimmicks about this Rick?"
As his thoughts deepened, Peter began to feel anxiety and regret, "Is the goddess about to fall into his arms?" The more he thought about it, the more he regretted how he hadn't stood up for himself as bravely as Rick had, maybe then he could have earned Rose's attention and gratitude.
Peter's brow furrowed as his mood gradually changed from initial shock to self-reflection. He realized that he was always watching from the sidelines and not taking action. He began to wonder if he should be more proactive if another similar opportunity arose.
Rose and Rick walked out of the auditorium together and across campus to an elegantly styled restaurant. The restaurant was known for its delicious cuisine and peaceful surroundings, making it an ideal place to enjoy lunch.
They were ushered to a window seat, the warm sunlight spilling through the window onto the tabletop, adding a cozy atmosphere to the occasion. Rick looked around and noticed that the agent had not followed them into the restaurant.
With a hint of curiosity, he posed the question to Rose, "Why didn't your agent tag along?"
Rose replied with a smile, a hint of relief revealed in her voice, ''Oh, he has something important to take care of, so he can't join us for lunch today. But it's nice that we can chat more freely."
Rick nodded in understanding. He felt more relaxed that way, as it allowed them to talk more freely without having to worry about the formal or uptight atmosphere that the agent's presence might bring.
After ordering their meals and after the waiter had left, Rick and Rose used the gap to start introducing themselves.
Rick spoke first, his voice warm and friendly, "Rose, it's a pleasure to have lunch with you. My name is Rick, and I'm a student at this university."

Rick praised Rose's dream, "Your dream sounds very exciting. I'm sure with your talent and hard work, you'll be able to make it happen."
Rose thanked Rick for his encouragement, her expression revealing her love of music and her desire to succeed, "Thank you, Rick. I'm always trying to improve my skills and hope to touch more people."
In the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant, Rick and Rose's conversation was like a wonderful symphony, each topic was like a carefully choreographed melody that led them step by step closer to each other's heart.
Rick knew very well that the key to enhancing the relationship with Rose was to find common interests. He skillfully steered the conversation toward Rose's passion for culture and entertainment.
