Loser lover (Beomgyu fanfic)

"I will steal you from him. That's a promise." "Promises are made to be broken." "This time it won't." "But you're going to die." "Better than live without you." ~ Can a good man take a bad man's possession and get away with it unscathed? Is she worth the bloodbath? A/N: Just another AU fanfic for Beomgyu because my mind is giving me a headache I had to write them down in a book. Hope you’ll like it. Everything mentioned in this book are all fictions except for Beomgyu or TXT’s descriptions but in no way related to their real lives.

Stranger Danger

Alicia's pov

I woke up on a fluffy bed that I'm pretty sure wasn't mine despite my bloodshot eyes being heavy that I almost couldn't open the damn thing.

I tilted my head as I rose up to scan the unfamiliar surroundings and saw fairly wide, pastel colored scenery type of paintings hanging at the plain ivory white walls, contrasting with the dark brown cabinets, appliances and wooden floor.

The single bed is located in the middle, then a semi blurred glass bathroom at the left side.

Dark gray sheer weave solar shades let some flickering lights in from outside and they illuminate the room a little, with the help of a Himalayan picket frame salt lamp placed above a narrow black table next to it.

One thing I've realized after remembering what just happened was my hands nor feet aren't tied at all. The room doesn't look like a typical hideout and it got me even more confused than I am right now.

However, it doesn't mean I feel at home either. My bones are as strong as a jelly and my muscles tremble at every step I take to the door, only to get thrown back on the floor by the person who happen to think the same thing at the same time.

A loud thud filled the quiet room while I cursed in pain and frustration.

"I'm sorry, are you alright?"

That deep voice again.

"Don't worry, you're safe now."

"W-who are you and why are you here with me?"

"My name's Choi Beomgyu and this is my bedroom."

"Okay…" I panted and tried to get up on my own but it wasn't as successful as I thought. "Fuck."

"Easy…" he hunkered down and hesitated to hold me at first. "Can I touch you?"

I glared at him in return.

"I'm just here to help you sit back on the bed. You're supposed to rest and let the drugs wear out."

"What?"

"Look, you're almost taken by a gang who usually kidnap girls and you know what happens next," he sighed deeply, "you're lucky the guard caught them in the act and scared the perpetrators."

He gestured a hand again and I eventually let him support my elbow.

"God you're burning."

He accidentally brushed the side of my right breast when he prevented me from falling on my face, the second I suddenly felt dizzy.

"You really need to chill. The hospital advised for you to drink some natural detox just in case you have any allergies on medication since we have no idea who you are and they're understaffed so he promised to come by the next day so you could get proper treatment."

"W-wait, I don't understand… shouldn't I get rushed to the hospital instead of home serviced…?" I panted again, hoping that inhaling more cool air would solve my body's blowing temperature.

"There are ongoing cases about the same gang and they basically learned things," he paused and cleared his throat, "…facts that those drugs aren't life threatening."

"I still don't get why they wouldn't help a potential rape victim when it's badly needed?" I scoffed. "Detox? Hah… For real?"

"I'm sorry," he looked so troubled and I'm starting to feel like he's lying because I know my body more than anyone and it's acting up.

"I need to go to the bathroom...a-alone."

"Sure. Are you able to walk on your own?" He sounded so concerned and it's nice but psychopaths tend to act like this on their victims.

"Yeah." I simply said and walked along the walls for support. For all I know he could be the person who drugged me since I never saw his face and they're both tall.

Adding on, his incredibly intoxicating musky scent is getting me worked up and it's embarrassing to even think about.

"The red mark on the switch means hot and the blue one is cold. The towels are accessible from the narrow glass cabinet at the corner."

He smiled and his left dimple is on full display. I was momentarily distracted and hoped this time, he didn't notice.

"The tub is full of warm water I set up earlier just in case you'd want to take a dip to relax before eating breakfast so it's still warm."

"T-thank you."

"You're welcome." He bent forward like a prince before shutting the glass door close.

I took my time in the tub of plain water and somehow have fallen asleep in between and dreamt about my boyfriend calling me but I couldn't hear him.

My body is floating away so I had to reach out for his shirt and pulled him into a deep kiss.

Like the one we've always shared in the past, when he was still very much obsessed with me. It felt like everything's gonna disappear at any given moment so I had to cherish whatever time we had before it all comes down to an end.
