The new land of fire

The topper of this year's civil service examination is 'David Weber'.

Young men please come to the stage.

Finally this is the moment that I accomplish something I worked my ass off for this and it is finally here.

Hay young man come up to the stage.

Yes yes I'm coming.

As he walked up something struck him odd, his body was feeling weak.

What is happening to me my legs are becoming weak & my head is aching like hell. My vision is blurring, I can't see anything, and I'm fall.

He has collapsed call an ambulance.

What is happening to me am I going to die .I was! I was so close.

Hay I can see a light is it heaven , no, no clouds isn't that how the heaven should be at least I think so .I can see people they are talking something. Am I alive? Wait I can't understand what the language.

What is going on where am I!

What the heck my hands are small and my feet are too. What the hell I'm a baby. Was I reborn!

7years passed

Yeah as it happens I was reborn and also not on earth but some place called indraprastha. As I have heard it is a huge land full of dense dark forest, Wide Ocean and all other form of landscape. It is told that it so wide that no one has explored even 1/3rd of the land and it is said that most of the land where filled by monsters and demons . We live in a small village town of Anga which is the part of mighty island country of Magadha. Which is situated in the north of the Aegaeon Sea. The people here spoke a different language than that I spoke previously after sometime I eventually learned it.

It was not only the language that was different from earth humans. There was something else that was interesting about them; they had the power of 'Fire'.

Yes the humans here from the age of 11 can wield the power of fire.

The people here uses fire for everything, some were good at it some were not but everybody can do it! & every person born here had a crimson rhombic marking on their forehead which the people consider as the eye of the fire goddess and the people here believe that it is the blessing of the goddess and that the fire goddess watches over them through the symbol.

And the people here call hessonite eye.

One more thing, I was born without one! I was born in word a loser.

I was born in the small farming clan called Maya. The Maya clan was not a powerful clan; they mainly did farming and animal husbandry. Upon my birth there was a great uproar in the clan .the clan members spoke among them self 'if he doesn't have a hessonite eye then he would surely be the spawn of the devil. So my name was kept 'Meghanad'. It was the name of the son of a demon lord in the in some mythology.

The clan leaders decided that I would be kept a secret in the clan. Maya clan depends heavily on other clan to buy their farm products and the information of a cursed child will decrease their income and also the shame was also large. So it was kept a secret but the clan member's distanced themselves from me and my family. None of my cousins used to play with me even though I have my memories of my previous life but somehow my kid emotions predominated, I liked to play with my peers so this made me sad by thing that made me more sad was the fact that my parents were treated with disrespect, but we somehow managed to live without much problem.

At the age of 7 all the kids in Magadha started going to school. I was also allowed to go the clan school. I liked going to school unlike the clan, the kids in the school played with me and I made friends. So I longed everyday to go to school.

The school taught subject like arithmetic, language, history and the religious philosophy of agnipath (the path of fire). The agnipath religion worships the goddess of fire Oya. In the country of Magadha the religion of agnipath has a great influence .the school curriculum was decided by order of the high temple of agnipath and the religion was taught in the school.

According to the curriculum the ten year school is divided into two parts the primary course of 4 year and the transition course of 6years. In the transition course one more subject is added to the class and that is 'fire'!

The children start learning the art of the usage fire at age of 11 and before that if you try to use fire their life will be in danger. So they start learning only at 11years of age after the aptitude ceremony.

This is the 4th year of school, I'm eleven years old and today is my aptitude ceremony.
