End of Day 1

The wolves all followed Allen out of the upgraded stone house. Outside there were the Dirt Mages who were pulling out several trees using their magic. It was quite a sight to see since the mages were moving the dirt around to move the trees until the trees were completely out of the ground and lying on their sides. The other humans were helping clean up the tree to make it usable as well as have the smaller sections be used as firewood.

Walking over to the hunter he quickly ordered him to focus on making containers for water after he started the fire. "Also I never asked what was your name?"

"Lord I went by the name Orion!" Orion spoke with great pride having the lord ask his name meant he became at least somewhat important.

"Alright, Orion what is the food situation? How long can the food last? How much can we preserve? Is there anything we can't keep? I wish to use the last crocodile corpse for more supplies, would that affect anything?"

"There is enough food for everyone for at least 3 weeks assuming we can preserve all of it. If you take the Water Crocodile corpse it will cut the food supplies in half... Lord, if I may make a suggestion?"

"Sure tell me what ideas do you have? You don't have to ask permission to give me a suggestion, just tell me what idea you have right away."

"I wish to use the guts of the Water Crocodile for various items we may need, if you could instead of trading it for more supplies, leave all the guts to me to process?"

"Sure do what you need. I might not even trade it for other supplies if it saves us so much food. With new recruits coming every week we won't be able to keep up with the demand. Still, since we are in the early game it is still better to use what inflated price food has. Orion, I need you to focus more on making items to carry water, if you can make a bucket or other container to hold water, please make sure to have someone make it as soon as possible. Water is the liquid of life and it is more immediately needed by everyone including us."

"Yes Lord!"

After giving a few other orders to the people gathering wood Allen walked to the edge of the small clearing that had been formed by the Dirt Mages pulling up trees.

"Whoever doesn't have much to do please come here!" Allen quickly organized a party to explore the surroundings with the tree wolves. Sustainable food could wait, but prey to hunt and quickly increase his power level was urgent.

After giving all his orders Allen focused on the market and what people were saying on the forums. In the strange new world, any information is good information. Focusing on the Universal Chat, Allen did his best to see if any other races knew what was going on or if any humans had found anything new that they were willing to share.

[Can some Elves help me? I just got here and became a Tree Elf. I don't really know what is happening and as a past human, I feel so much calmer than I ever thought possible. I really don't know what is going on and even if it is someone from another race, please help me understand what's happening.]

[All races have a trait that seems to be fused with their bloodline since the trait almost controls the creatures. As Elves, being peaceful is the greatest joy in our lives. I also congratulate you on transforming into an Elf. If you have other questions please take it to the Elves' Chat. If you meet a barbaric demon here you will most definitely be hurt more than helped.]

Most conversations about important information were obviously being done in their racial chat while most people in the Universal Chat were cries of despair or the most boastful people who told how great they were and what they could get. Only the few voices of the Elves were anything more than that. On the Trade Chat side, the situation had changed drastically.

[1 Fire Stone (material) -> 100 Water]

[1 Fine Iron Sword -> 25 Food]

[1 Plant Stone (material) -> 200 Food]

[1 Stone Axe -> 5 Food]

Food had suddenly become far less valuable than before. Without any choice, Allen was forced to pay the increased price of all the materials he wanted. While searching Allen also found someone selling their starter house crystal for an extremely cheap price.

Allen knew he had a storage problem with the storage crystal needing a building to then transform it into a storage space. The main problem was the fact he had spent all his supplies on the current house and now needing more supplies so he doesn't have to build another house from scratch.

With the new meat sold as food to the lords, Allen bought one more Plant stone and the house as well as other supplies to upgrade the storage warehouse. Without hesitation, Allen stepped into an area that had just been cleared that was fairly far away from the main house and crushed the crystal.

Soon he found himself in a house that was once again very basic. Taking out the Storage Crystal, Allen crushed it as well. With a bright flash of light, the room seemed to become sturdier. The house had also grown by three times. Soon a pop-up appeared showing the new change.

[Storage Warehouse (Immobile) (Upgradable)]

[A building that serves as a Storage Warehouse. Everything inside can always be used by the Lord within 100 meters from the Storage Warehouse. To put items into the Warehouse it will require the Lord to be within 10 meters from the structure.]

[Upgrade requirements: 100 wood, 150 stone, 50 Iron]

[Special Effect: All items inside the Storage Warehouse will never spoil or degrade.]

[Note: You want an inventory? Here is a permanent inventory that stays in one place!]

Stepping outside Allen quickly got to upgrading the Storage Warehouse without hesitation. The original building had large barn doors as the entrance. The building quickly flashed as a new pop-up appeared.

[Storage Warehouse (Immobile) (Upgradable)]

[A building that serves as a Storage Warehouse. Everything inside can always be used by the Lord within 110 meters from the Storage Warehouse. To put items into the Warehouse it will require the Lord to be within 11 meters from the structure.]

[Upgrade requirements: 200 wood, 300 stone, 100 Iron]

[Special Effect: All items inside the Storage Warehouse will never spoil or degrade.]

[Note: More useful than it first seems.]

The building quickly grew and became twice as large as before. The only other change to the Warehouse being the description in the pop-up. Looking at the amount of resources he had on hand, Allen noticed he could upgrade each building once more and nothing else.

Unsure if he would need the resources at a later date, Allen decided to hold off for now and decided to focus on the plant stone in his bag. Leaving the bag in the Warehouse Allen decided to first check how easily he could use it.

Soon Allen found himself standing once again in front of the wolf summoning circle. The wolves had the greatest attack power and were his main attack force and the greatest way to protect himself.

Holding out his hand Allen focused on the plant stone in the Warehouse. Soon the stone appeared after a small flash of light. Smiling happily Allen upgraded the wolf summoning circle without hesitation. Once again after the light faded a pop-up appeared in front of him.

[Forest Wolf Summoning Circle (Upgradable) (Immobile)]

[Gathers Mana to summon 10 Forest Wolves every week]

[Recruits Available: 10]

[Recruit Requirements: 300 wood, 200 stone, 200 Iron]

[Upgrade Requirements: 10,000 wood, 10,000 Stone, 10,000 Iron]

[Special Effect: All units summoned will start as completely loyal.]

[Note: Where there are trees, it is home.]

Still, without enough supplies to summon the full ten wolves, Allen stopped thinking about it and for now he stepped out the back of the house to watch his recruits. He smiled as everyone was doing their best to help. After a while of watching the sky gradually darkened as everyone returned home from scouting.

While watching the sunset Allen ate while checking the Human Chat to see how others were doing compared to him.

[You all can not trade with demons! I just got human meat as food! All I wanted was to feed my hardworking soldiers and now we are all starving!]

[You all have to get your hands on the materials! I just got a Vitality stone and upgraded it into Human Warrior summoning circle! I will trade for food! So long as you can get me more stones I will pay well!]

[I just set up my house and thought I would live a new life here and now I found that there is a DRAGON! It apparently controlled the territory before I did and now I have a time limit on my life! Help!]

[I did well my fellow humans. I have food and water without any worry for now. I wish my fellows good luck!]
