And the path had only one direction: up, through the layers of existence, through the fabric of reality itself. No prison could contain him. No curse could hold him. Sitting crossed legged inside a dimly lit room, li shenrong was focusing on his physique.
My godly physique reached half completion. With its help my aptitude is constantly being nourished and upgraded to above average. Godly physique at full completion will raise my aptitude even more.
Though i currently am at the late stage of body strengthening realm but i am not in a hurry to jump at bone tempering realm.
I need to build a firm foundation at each realm. Without a strong foundation my dao will collapse when i want to take that step.
After an hour he opened his eyes and swept his palm over the black ring.
His gaze turned strange while looking at the pitch black ring.
" I brought some fruit. " That young girls voice sounded outside the room.
" That's very kind of you miss tang. " Li shenrong replied.
Her name was Tang yun, and her father was also a hunter and village chief. After her father died accidentally from a beasts attack she took on his mantle of being a hunter.
She grasped basic martial arts skill and was a level four mortal martial warrior.
Before a person can cultivate, he or she needs to climb through twelve level of mortal martial realm. From first level martial realm warrior to a level thirteen martial realm warrior. After that one needs to awaken their meridian for qi gathering to successfully step into cultivation world. Awakening meridian inside a persons body was easy and also tough, it depends on if it was being done correctly. Without proper guidance a person might fail and die in the process. " Where are you from? I never saw you with other village hunters either. " Although Tang yun was a fourth level mortal martial warrior she was still a young girl who never saw the vastness of the sky. Li shenrong felt amused by her curiosity. He decided to patiently play along.
" Indeed i am from a far away city. If one day you leave the village and go beyond the mountains and forests you will be able to go there. "
Tang yun asked barrage of questions and li shenrong satisfied her curiosity with patience.
Suddenly Tang yun felt dejected, her head drooped down as she sighed.
" I really want to go and see whats beyond the mountains and forests but… i can't. My grandfather told me it will be disastrous and full of danger. I heard magical beasts roam around everywhere. My father was a seventh level martial warrior but he died under the attack of a magical beast. "
" Wait till you are a cultivator, then you can venture deeper into the mountains. " Li shenrong said.
" If i become a cultivator, can i fly high in the sky? " Tang yun asked expectantly
Li shenrong smiled and nodded.
At that moment Tang yun's eyes shone with determination. She swore to become a cultivator and venture outside to see the world.
Suddenly a commotion was heard outside the cottage. Ear piercing screams and roars echoed which made tang yun's eyes shift as she stood abruptly. She jumped and grabbed the bow which was hanged against the wall and stormed outside the cottage.
Li shenrong swept out his divinse sense, covering the entire village.
" Monster attack, everyone hurry and gather. " Someone shouted.
Tang yun rushed at the village outskirt after half an hour and saw a bloody mess and piled up corpses.
The defensive wall that was built is now completely broken through. Village warriors guarding it died brutally.
Tang yun looked into the distance and saw few martial warrior engaging in a fierce combat.
They were facing huge black python, it was almost 18 meter long with black scale covering its entire body.
Tang yun's heart turned cold at the sight of the python. Those martial warriors were on their last breath, death would approach them at any moment. If they fall, all the villagers will die gruesomely.
