Lord of the Celestial Throne

His fate was predetermined: fight, defend, and perish with the stars, a mere cog in the great machinery of creation. But something within him resisted this cruel fate. A seed of defiance sprouted in his heart, whispering of freedom. He sought a way to transcend the cosmic chains—to escape, to defy destiny, to seize freedom at any cost. As a mortal, he felt the agony of watching his loved ones wither and die, powerless to stop the decay of time. He wept for children, lovers, friends. As an emperor, he conquered kingdoms and wielded unimaginable power, only to be betrayed by those he trusted most, dragged from his throne, and executed in shame. As a beggar, he wandered the streets, starving and shivering under the cold gaze of uncaring gods. As a villain, he became the monster in stories told to frighten children—burning cities, drowning nations in blood, only to be hunted and killed by the heroes of those same tales. As a saint, he gave everything—his wealth, his strength, his life—to others, only to discover that gratitude was fleeting and the world did not remember the sacrifices of the righteous. But, Every failure, every death, every betrayal—they were nothing but steps on a long, infinite path. And the path had only one direction: up, through the layers of existence, through the fabric of reality itself. No prison could contain him. No curse could hold him. His heart whispered one thing to him, a truth carved into his soul:Move forward. Always forward. Because he was Li Shenrong—the Lord of the Celestial Throne.

Being a disciple.

After that one by one many people went up to the mirror and tested themselves.

"No cultivation, low grade aptitude, Middle grade talent, age 14."

"No cultivation, low grade aptitude, low grade talent, age 16."

Jessi took a deep breath and went in front of the mirror.

She put her hand slowly on the blue rune. The rune glowed with bright light, then red rune, it glowed with bright light as well.

The disciple looked in the mirror with incredulity then looked at Jessi with wide eyes and declared loudly.

"Heaven congragation realm, high grade aptitude, high grade talent, age 17."

There was pin drop silence at the whole mountain foot. Then sudden screams of astonishment and surprise. People were flooded with all kinds of emotions, most importantly this was their first time seeing someone with high grade aptitude and talent.

It was extremely rare.

Jessi was inwardly satisfied as she observed everyone's expressions.

'So according to them i have heaven congragation realm cultivation. On earth i was just one step away from being the strongest superhuman. Power classification was like this; from low tier rank 1 superhuman to high tier rank 9 superhuman. I am a grand rank 8 superhuman on earth, i wonder how strong will i be here.'

While she was thinking several bright light descended from the sky which made jessi alert.

She looked at the light source and prepared herself for battle secretly.

"Hmm? I can't determine their strength? Could they be at rank 9 superhuman stage and several people at that."

Among the seven powerful auras that descended one man stood at the very front. The other six was very respectful toward him which made it easy to guess that he was the sect leader.

"He is the strongest person i've ever seen. Even on earth no one is as strong as him." Jessi looked at the locust sects sect leader and gasped inwardly but she wasn't afraid.

"Child! Are you willing to be my disciple?" The very first thing that came out of the sect leaders mouth was this.

Jessi was taken aback for a moment, she thought they would question and interrogate her a lot but this was out of her expectation.

"Yess i am willing." Jessi nodded slowly.

"Why are you not kowtowing to your master!" An elder beside the sect master reprimanded.

Jessi looked left and right not knowing what to do. She came from modern earth which had extremely advanced technology. There was no such thing as kowtowing ritual. People were too proud for this. Its not that jessi was being arrogant but she doesn't know how to do it.

"Its alright, too many eyes are looking. Lets get inside first." Sect leader smiled and dispelled her momentary awkwardness.

Hundred and seventy years passed by since then.

Jessi became the sect master of locust sect. Her one word dictates the fate of thousands.

She gazed at the starry sky and sighed to herself with melancholy.

"Even after all these years of finding and researching i can not go back to earth. I wonder how father mother and brother is doing! Are they still alive? If i were on earth at this time then i would be the strongest superhuman ever. According to earths measure i have surpassed any existing rank 9 superhuman. I can take on hundreds of rank 9 superhuman alone.

Even though i am powerful compared to rank 9 superhumans, but there's still a long way to go before i could truly become powerful on this world.

Body strengthening realm, Bone tempering realm, Spirit accumulation realm, Physic foundation realm, Heaven congregation realm, Heavenly king, Saint, Dao Sovereign, Demi God,  True God, Godking and finally the supreme realm of the Emperor. When can i reach that level? Only then i can go back to earth.

Currently i am just a dao sovereign. I might die before i could become a Demi god." Jessi sighed again, her heart yearned for her home.
