Chapter 82 - Axel vs Karias

The arena was dark and gloomy, with dim lights shining from above to illuminate the fighting ring. The stands were filled with a diverse crowd, some of them wearing masks and hoods to conceal their identities, while others were cheering loudly and placing bets on their favorite fighters. The air was thick with the smell of sweat and anticipation, and the tension was palpable as the fighters looked at each other.

Karias begins to speak in a heavy voice at that point.

"You are not like others; you are faster than them, more powerful than them, and your mind is too big for your experience; I can see that."

Axel smiled and then answered.

"I will take your words as a compliment. Don't you think it is time for both of us to start fighting for real using our nen abilities?"

At this point in the battle, the two contestants assessed the strength of the opponent in front of them using only the fundamentals of nen.

Karias smiled wickedly as he nodded and spoke.

"Yes, you are right; you will see my defense and power; your punch will do nothing!"

Axel stood on one end of the ring, his eyes fixed on his opponent, Karias, who was standing across from him. Karias had a muscular build and a menacing aura, and he exuded confidence as he stared back at Axel. Both fighters knew that they were about to engage in a battle of wits and strength, and the crowd was eager to see who would come out on top.

As the match began, Axel and Karias both activated their nen abilities. Axel's sealed origin increased his physical, nen, and sensory powers by 50%, while Karias's stone transformation covered his body in a layer of impenetrable stone.

Axel started to move around the ring with agility and grace, dodging Karias's stone punches and using his Freedom ability to teleport to control the flow of the fight. Karias, on the other hand, stood his ground and used his immense strength to try to land a hit on Axel.

The two fighters exchanged blows, with Axel's movements becoming more fluid and unpredictable as he used his intelligence to outmaneuver Karias. Karias, meanwhile, used his Golem Man ability to enhance his strength and strike Axel with powerful blows.

At no point was Karias able to hit Axel; every time he was about to punch him in the face, Axel easily escaped using Freedom; the speed and reaction time difference was too great. Eventually, Axel's constant punches and kicks begin to wear on Karias.

In the end, it was Axel's intelligence and adaptability that won him the fight. He used his Sealed Origin ability to increase his power even further, and he managed to strike Karias with a series of quick and precise attacks that knocked him out cold.

As Axel stood in the center of the ring, panting and victorious, the crowd erupted into a frenzy of cheers and applause. He had proven himself to be a skilled and intelligent fighter, and he had earned the respect of the other fighters in the arena.
