Chapter 19 - The Hands and Blood

After Axel took a warm breath, the smile on his face slowly disappeared and a serious but calm expression manifested on his face. His eyes stared quite seriously at Gardev's body and the spear in his hand. He was watching Gardev like a real predator.

His gaze and behavior had undergone a momentary devilish change, and this change was noticed.

"Suddenly, he started to spread killing intent and terror."

"I may have to be careful."

Gardev exhaled a cold breath as he reflected. He felt like he was alone for a few seconds in a wild jungle with no strength or weapons.

It was a really strange and disturbing feeling. feeling like a child with nothing to protect himself from danger.

Axel's hands had become like knives, and the amount of nen on his hands had significantly increased.

Gardev began to squeeze the spear in his hand, albeit involuntarily. His body and mind were responding to changes in Axel's mood.

"Calm down and examine it!"

Gardev whispered to himself as he tried to keep his composure. Nen focused on his eyes in less than a second.

He starts to keep a close eye on his opponent with "Gyo." He didn't want to encounter any surprise attacks.

"Judging by the shape of his hands and the amount of nen, he looks like someone who will be able to use nen to perform cutting attacks with his hands."

"I won't get seriously injured as long as I'm careful!"

"If I get hit in critical places such as the head, it will be the end of me."

At that moment, Axel quickly commenced running toward Gardev. The dust beneath his boots explodes as he makes his first step.

Gardev swallowed and shouted, waving his spear at Axel, who had already arrived in front of him.

Axel leaned slightly down with a grin on his face and attacked Gardev's leg with his right hand.

Axel's right hand cut Gardev's upper leg deeply. Gardev's aura could not protect him in any way from the attack.

He tried to counterattack using his spear, but Axel had already taken three steps back after dealing good damage.

Gardev was bleeding from his upper leg. The amount of blood that flowed was quite a lot, and all the spectators could see that the wound was serious.

There was also a familiar name in the audience watching the battle.

"It's obvious that Axel is not experienced in a battle, but his expertise in Nen and his ability to use it are very sophisticated and very well developed."

A man in glasses and a white shirt that could not be tucked inside his pants thought as he watched through the audience.

The man with the glasses and white shirt was Wing. He was Biscuit Krueger's student, and he was also a master of Gon and Killua as well as Zushi, despite Zushi not being that important in the series.

Wing was a seasoned person in the Nen world, at least more experienced than Axel. It wouldn't escape his eyes that Axel wasn't very experienced, but that his ability to use nen was at a very good level compared to his experience.

Gardev looked at the wound on his leg and started to tremble from the pain and fear radiating deep from his soul.

"So you're starting to show your true face and your strength at the same time."

"I am in a position to end this battle whenever I want. But I need experience."

"So I want you to do your best."

Axel's words were starting to resonate. Gardev was getting angry. Wing just smiled.

"Although he has an egoistic approach, I believe that he can finish this match immediately."

Wing believed Axel's words to be true.
