The Book That's Never Meant To Be Here

As soon as Yama passed through the door, he was teleported to the entrance of the library. The library consists of seven levels, students who are on the elementary realm can only enter the first and second level, each level is assigned to several realms however to enter the seventh level you will need to be at the Divine or Heaven Extinction Realm.

They were lot of students browsing through the books, some of them were even seniors. Yama strolled through the library looking at book names as he was told that the first book he picks he wouldn't be able to see the contents since it was free, but Yama knew this was not always the case because he can see that some of the seniors could see a summary of the book before even opening a book.

Yama started reading through couple of names to see if anything was catchy to his eyes, he was surprised to see a lot of introductory books for magicians, normally Yama was assuming that he would be able to get a powerful book so that he can learn a chant from it or so but as he walked and went through some names he was left disappointed for example the introductory book names were like 'Fire Magic For Dummies', 'Water Magic For Dummies' and so on for each element.

Yama was left disappointed to see that none of the names sounded catchy, however he found few books name that were related to the thunder element such as the 'Thunder Shock Bolt', 'Thundering Through Heavens'. 'Thunder For All', some of the books name were very weird but Yama did not want to pick anything do with thunder at the moment because he has always felt that he can awaken other elements.

As Yama was walking through various bookshelves, he suddenly sensed his Judgement Book vibrating violently, It was a similar feeling this only happens when it senses a kin but when Yama tried to check just what it was causing this vibration, he couldn't find any information on the Judgement Book, so Yama had no other choice but walk around until the vibration of the Judgement Book vibrated intensively.

He arrived near a bookshelf, by looking at this bookshelf, one can tell that hardly anyone has been to this section in the library since they were still some dust left in the bookshelf but Yama noticed a very ancient like book at the top right corner of the bookshelf.

Yama felt like that the book looked very familiar, Yama noticed that the Judgement Book has now stopped vibrating, it obviously noticed that Yama has located the book that it was telling Yama to find. Yama walked near to the shelf and reached out to take the book out until he heard a female voice.

"I wouldn't take that if I was you"

Yama turned around to see, just who it was that was disturbing the Lord of Hell but when he saw the figure in front of him, he couldn't help be shocked this was because the girl in front of Yama looked no worse than the top beauties he has seen at Heaven Hall. The girl wore a simple white dress with a gold braided belt. Her hair was long, wavy, and golden brown, falling brilliantly over her chest. The girl's face was milky white, with large dazzling chocolate brown eyes and cherry lips. If anyone other than Yama saw this figure they will definitely think this is a live painting of a goddess.

Yama obviously wasn't fazed by her beauty, he was just shocked to see someone that can be on par with one of the beautiful celestial beings of the Heaven Hall even though Yama has personally battered some of their faces before he couldn't help be shocked by the sight in front of him but the shock only lasted for few seconds before he turned to the girl and asked.

"Ermm I don't know who you are exactly...but young lady why can't I take that book? I thought new students are able to take one book for free? Just what is so special about it?" Yama asked while he turned to look at that book again to see whether the answer given by that lady can point him in right directions to determine just what book is it that made the Judgement Book have a reaction.

"I am not a young lady! I am one of your senior and my name is Nian Zhen, Let me tell you something, only chosen ones are able to open that book, a lot of people have tried to open that book but even elders and experts at the Extinction Realm have failed, it was then decided that only a chosen one can open that book.

However, it has been a year since someone has touched that book. This book was originally bought from a auction at very cheap price but since no one could open the book it was put at this shelf, however I am the only person who was able to open a tiny bit."

The girl said pridefully, she was initially surprised to see someone else in this section because hardly anyone comes here apart from her since she will always try to open that book every day and somehow she managed to move it a bit but even after explaining all this she couldn't be surprised after noticing Yama's actions this is because she noticed that this brat in front of her really didn't care about what she said and was treating her as if she was air since he was focused on that book, a lot of people will try and start a conversation with her due to her beauty but to see that this boy in front of her did not care a single bit about her made her shocked.

"Senior Nian Zhen, since you said only chosen ones can open it, how are you sure that I am not a chosen one?"

"This.." Nian Zhen was loss for words, she was prideful about that fact that she can at least open a inch of that book hence why she believed that no one else can do it but that doesn't mean she can stop anyone else from trying, since the book is there to be taken.

"Thank you for letting me know but I will be taking this book" Yama had no intention of giving up as he had a familiar feeling with this book so he pulled out the book from the shelf but the instant he saw the book he was dazed, because it was none other than the book of his assistant Gupta.

Gupta but known as Chitragupta in Heaven & Hell is the trusted aide of Yama, the assistants sole role is to keep records of actions of humans, this will then be summarised and sent to the Judgement Book, this is when a decision will be made to see wether the human will be sent to Hell or Heaven.

Chitragupta's book is also known as the Fate Book, it has the ability to decide and change someone's fate, the Book was specially created by Yama in order reduce some stress and to keep his assistant safe.

If by some chance a human was able to get hold of this book and open it, it will allow the human to know their future allowing to change their own fate with the ability to fulfil the human's desire whether it is riches or making amendments for their sins.

Yama couldn't help but open the book. The never opened book suddenly opened up in front of Nian Zhen as she watched the book vanish afterwards, she was flabbergasted by the scene in front of her, she was prideful about the fact that she could open a bit of the book but to think that the book who no one has ever been able to open fully has been opened by the kid in front of her made her loss for words.

Yama naturally saw the reaction of Nian Zhen but only he knows the real reason why no one was able to open the book, this is because a seal was placed on it by none other than Yama, just incase any accidents occurred and the book got into the hands of bad people, it can cause massive destruction in Hell & Heaven.

Yama suddenly started recalling what Nian Zhen said and was surprised about the fact that Nian Zhen was able to open the book a tiny bit, the only reason that Yama can think of is that she must have been blessed by a celestial being but is yet to awaken her blessings, usually only at death doors the blessings of a celestial being will activate.

Naturally the Fate Book is something that defy the Heaven's therefore anyone from the Heaven Hall can open the Fate Book and see its contents but they will not be allowed to make any changes.

Yama couldn't help thinking about his assistant that he hasn't seen for years when he went away on a mission.

'Gupta you wanted to go on a mission to check on a person, who's fate was not clear to even you. I have granted your request at that time because it was no big deal and I firmly believed that you would complete the mission with no issues but to think that I will see your book in this shelf, it looks like I have been sent to this world for a reason! I hope your safe, I will definitely get you once I am back in Hell and the sole proprietor of this whole mess will not die an easy death!'
