Kurumi fake coughed to her hand.

''I was simply intrigued by you and wanted to see you. Nothin more.'' despite sounding calm, she was annoyed on the inside as they kept talking as if she couldn't hear them.

''She is still breathing heavily with that weird blush.'' Megumin noted before Kunyo could shush her.

Ignoring Megumin, Kunyo asked Kurumi

''You have nothing to do with the old man's death?''

''No.'' she stated simply

''And you attacked me because???''

''I was curious. You changed the timeline more than just once. I wanted to see your capabilities and maybe scary you a little bit'' she sounded embarrassed at the end, breaking her 'calm' face.

'I don't have a blush.'

Kunyo looked to his side to see Megumin nod. He gave a silent sigh and kept talking.

''Alright, you can fuck off now.'' He was kind of mad but not mad enough to attack her. If he truly wanted to kill her (seeing that she would always be faster than him) he would have to go all out with his explosions and it would probably destroy the village.

He didn't care that much about the village, if he was still being attacked he wouldn't hesitate to kill her at the price of the village (and his master's corpse) but seeing that she wasn't hostile to begin with (confirmed by Megumin) and there was nothing to win over fighting her stopped his violent thoughts.

''Eh?''

''I said you can fuck off. I will be busy and frankly, I don't want to deal with the immortal spirit business.''

He knew he was being rude but he couldn't care less at the moment. The thought of some spirit disrupting his life just because 'she was interested' angered him to no end. Not mad enough to mindlessly attack someone but still mad nonetheless.

''O-okay.'' Kurumi answered with a weird feeling inside of her.

''Look at her, I told you she awakened something dangerous.'' Megumin commented wisely but Kurumi couldn't hear her.

Her eyes focused on the rude guy that had a disgusted and slightly angry face.

''Fucking hell, how troublesome.'' he muttered under his breath.

'What is this feeling?' she tried to understand the unique feeling inside of her that she felt for the first time in her life.

'Ugh, what is this wetness on my chin?' she wiped the drool off her face as she tried to inspect her body.

'He must have cursed me with some kind of unique bending!' she could tell how strong it was. She had just realized how her legs lost their strength, trembling slightly with some sticky liquid trickling down her legs.

'I miscalculated his strength, he already cursed me with something.'

''Alright stop staring at me like that. This is your last warning, fuck off before I force you to.'' Kunyo said matter of factly. He couldn't take her bullshit anymore.

He used to love and fantasize things like this but seeing it in real life looked creepy and slightly disgusting. Dealing with bitches like these or even worse, yanderes might sound hot but if he thought about it for a second, they sounded like a pain in the ass that wasn't worth neither the sex nor the love they could give.

That just happened.

I use Gamer's mind to down my boner before Megumin can see it as I think of the events that just happened.

Thankfully there was no damage except a crack in the wood from the places Kurumi suddenly accelerated to me and escaped from me.

After making sure that she was really gone, I slowly turn my head to the old guy.

'Why would you die with a smile on your face?'

Dying with a smile as if he was satisfied with life already... I will never have that. I want immortality.

Maybe I could have the same smile he had upon my death if I didn't know of the multiverse. I could probably be fully satisfied and happy after doing what the fuck ever I want in this small world but knowing that there is so much more to explore, so much more to enjoy. Literally infinite possibilities and unknowns. How can I die before seeing every single thing in it?

I have been asking myself this question. Am I immortal? In theory, I should be. From my mind to my body, I'm a game character thanks to my two skills. Gamer's mind and Gamer's body.

I didn't want to leave this to luck so I was thinking of finding Lao Ge to learn immortality, but...

I glance at Megumin as she gives me a curious look.

I have a literal Goddess here. It can't be too hard to become immortal. After growing stronger I can even threaten the spirit of life or death to make me immortal. I doubt their conceptual powers like simply making me dead would work since my body technically doesn't belong to this world and I really doubt that their powers are omnipotent. I think they would only work at this world's citizens. Still a theory though.

Sigh, let's get this over with.

I don't think I'm a good person but I'm not such an asshole that I would leave without giving my master a proper burial.

'It lasted short, but thank you for everything you did for me.'

Seconds later I hear stomping sounds and a few seconds after that people barge into the room.

They must have heard Kurumi's stomping sounds. She didn't break the sound barrier but she wasn't exactly silent when she broke the planks of the house.

I swear to God, if they try to investigate or restrain me for a stupid misunderstanding like killing him I will flip the table.

''Master has passed away.'' I state simply.

Baraz gives me a furious look and opens his mouth, spitting angrily.

''You killed him!''

'Sigh... I will play along for a while but if it gets longer than 5 minutes to convince them I'm just getting out of here. Not like they can stop me.'

''No, I didn't.''

''Prove it then!'' says this retard.

'I'm innocent until proven otherwise.' I think but my mouth moves differently.

''I have no motive.''

''Of course you fucking do. Now that he's dead you can take his place!''

''Firstly, I don't think that's how it works... I actually don't know if it works that way. Shows you how little knowledge I have about the position 'I want to take'. Secondly, I have made absolutely zero moves until now and have almost no influence. Thirdly, the master was my biggest backer and his death would be the biggest loss for me. He died before even giving me any position or introducing me to anybody important. I have no idea of who runs this village and I didn't use my master to make friends with them not to mention making connections. And finally, I'm leaving this village. I came here to say goodbye to him, only to find him dead.''

There is a long silence after I finished my long talk.

Retard has a frustrated face but he can't find any loopholes so he finally gives in with a sigh.

''When is the funeral.'' I ask, breaking the silence.

I don't know their traditions. They might be burning, burying, or even doing something else to his corpse and as long as it happens fast I will stay to pay my respects. Though I'm not waiting for a month for some weird ritual. Sorry old man, I'm sure you would understand.

A girl behind Baraz explains to me:

''Normally it's up to the family but old master made it clear that he wanted his body to be burned by his disciple quite loudly.''

'Hmm? When did he even do that? I don't hang out with him all day long but he could at least tell me that. What if I left without saying goodbye?' I shake my head and get on with it.

Hours later, about half of the village is here and mourning in front of his dead body. Old guy was loved I suppose.

Megumin was silent the whole time but she had a disturbed face.

Soon after that, I left the village after saying goodbye to the few people I actually liked.

As soon as we were out of the village Megumin turned her face to me and asked.

''You won't die from old age will you?''
