White Mummy - Levels and Titles - Chapter 7

Aron noticed that he was not alone. In front of him, there was a monster. The monster looked like a mummy.

"White Mummy"

"Monster"

This time, Aron did not see all the details of the monster. He wanted to ask The Voice about the reason for it, but the monster did not give him time for something like that.

"Errrghhh..."

It slowly limped towards the Aron; its speed and build from one look better than Corpse Walker, and Aron was able to understand it with ease.

"I am not weak..."

Aron thought and then pointed his hand to White Mummy.

"Calm down; the distance is ten meters; wait for it to get close to me for five meters; and use a blast-type attack."

Aron thought within his mind; he imagined what kind of ability, spell, or desire filled with knowledge he could use.

Seconds later, the creature entered the five-meter range, and Aron whispered.

"Hand Granade Explosion..."

He imagined a handgrenade exploding from his hands directly at Mummy. He knew how a real Granede from Earth worked, which made things easier. Thanks to the action movies he watched, it is not hard to imagine it either.

"Eerrgghhh.."

The creature entered the four-meter range, and Aron did not hesitate anymore.

"Explode !"

With his whisper from his hands, a fiery blasat manifested directly towards White Mummy.

"Booooom."

As the explosion went off, parts of the mummy scattered around. At the same time, the voice started talking.

"Ding"

"White Mummy Killed: 10 XP Points Gained."

Aron felt a little bit weak and commented.

"I need to use more simple imagination for the time being."

Aron, after looking at the corpse of White Mummy for some time, remembered the voice and what it said.

He furrowed his brows and directed his thoughts toward The Voice. "Hey, what exactly are these experience points you mentioned earlier?"

The voice responded with a calm and informative tone: "Experience points, Aron, serve as a measure of your growth. As you gain more of them, your level will increase, bringing improvements to your energy capacity, power, and other attributes."

Aron nodded, absorbing the information. "So, it's like a measure of how much I've learned and progressed in this new existence?"

"Yes, precisely. Consider it a reflection of your journey and development within this realm," The Voice clarified.

Aron smiled and then nodded.

"It is like a game system."

"I should get going..."

Aron then stopped thinking and continued to go on. As he kept on walking, he kept looking at the scenery. The time has passed as the sun has shown itself.

He knew that, at this point, walking should not be that dangerous.

"If what the voice is saying is true, the capabilities of my ability are endless."

"As long as I continue to increase my power and do what I need to do, things will be going right."

------

Unknown to Aron, a team of three stopped to look at the corpse of the White Mummy.

"So, what do you guys think?"

One of the group members, a man in his middle age wearing black leather clothes, asked the young woman and man. It seemed like he was testing their ability to understand and comment on the corpse of the creature.

The young woman looked at the pieces of the mummy and then noticed that there were small metal pieces on the corpse. These metal pieces were sharapnels from the ability of Aron, who used Granade as his imagination and knowledge. But they had no way to know about it.

"It seems like a mage, most likely a fire mage, encountered this white mummy at night and used his ability to blast him with some sort of spell."

As the young woman finished speaking, the young man added

"I agree, the battle did not last long, and the individual who killed this monster should be strong. At the level of two or three, it most likely used one spell to take care of this monster."

The middle-aged man nodded and exclaimed.

"The levels are simple; the words of both of you are true."

He then turned to the young woman and asked.

"Alia, can you explain to me the levels of human beings and monsters?"

Alia nodded and started speaking.

"Levels 1 to 4 are called "beginners.

"Levels 6 to 11" (Adepts)

"Levels 12 to 18" (Masters)

"Sorry, Master, I don't know the level above the twenty or their title."

The middle-aged man smiled and then whispered as he looked at the corpse.

"The one who killed this white mummy is at least a Level 3 or 4 Beginner."

"Alia and Kramlias, levels above Masters, are called "Lords."

The middle-aged man explained.

"Level 18 to 23 (Lords), keep that in your minds."
