--Chapter--
In the aftermath of the colossal explosion, a dense cloud of dust, debris, and smoke billowed into the sky, casting a temporary veil over the battlefield as shockwaves rippled outward from the epicenter, shaking the earth.
"What was that?!"
Looking at the direction of the deafening noise, the sorcerers present at Jujutsu High were instantly drawn, their eyes widening as they felt the awe-inspiring spectacle of raw power unfolding in the distance.
And meanwhile, the group of students had already reached Principal Masamichi Yaga, swiftly informing him of the situation.
"Damn it! It seems that this intruder isn't that simple!" grumbled Yaga, his eyes scanning the area before landing on a nearby individual clad in a suit.
"Gather all sorcerers on campus! semi-first grade and above, in the circle out front!"
Seeing this, despite the palpable tension in the air, Panda felt the need to remind the principal of Gojo's explicit instructions.
"Principal, Gojo said not to send anyone to help him."
"I'm well aware of that! But we need to be ready for anything!" Yaga responded, his voice tinged with both frustration and unease.
The principal understood Gojo better than anyone else, he knew that the formidable sorcerer was at his most powerful when left to fight alone.
Yet, Yaga couldn't shake the nagging feeling that they needed to assemble everyone as a precautionary measure.
'I have a bad feeling about this.'
*Booom*
The ground shuddered beneath their feet once more, sending a ripple of unease through the onlookers.
They gazed in the direction of the tumult, their expressions fraught with anxiety.
However, Yuta who felt a personal connection to the unfolding events due to his prior interaction with Lorien was particularly troubled.
Gripping the ring that hung around his neck like a talisman, Yuta couldn't help but whisper.
"I hope sensei will be alright."
.
.
*Ziiing*
*Boom*
As both combatants stopped holding back, the battle immediately escalated with Gojo launching a barrage of long-range attacks in the form of [Red], as if venting his earlier frustration.
However, it seemed that his efforts were in vain, as Lorien skillfully slashed and interrupted each incoming strike, one after another.
Seeing the lack of progress in their battle, Gojo couldn't help but frown as he realized that they weren't getting anywhere like this, moreover, he felt as though his opponent wasn't even trying his best.
'Heh, was I underestimated?'
'Hahaha, Interesting!'
With a wicked grin spreading across Gojo's face, he teleported a short distance away in an instant and extended one hand in front of him, declaring.
"I'm going to be a little rough, so don't die!"
"Cursed Technique Amplification: Blue"
"Cursed Technique Reversal: Red"
"Hallow Purple!"
Observing the scene, Lorien's eyes widened in surprise as Gojo's actions were much faster than he had anticipated or seen in the original timeline.
'Well, I guess that's to be expected.'
'After all, I can't expect him to take 2 minutes to activate one attack.'
However, just as Lorien was assessing the situation, he abruptly sensed an immense, looming danger — an overpowering feeling that his life was genuinely at risk.
Feeling this, Lorien's eyes narrowed, focusing intently on the swirling mass of purple energy amassing in front of Gojo.
'This thing can actually endanger me!'
'HAHAHAAH, THIS IS IT, HAHAH'
The moment Lorien registered this threat, a thrill of excitement surged through him; For the first time, someone at the same level as him managed to evoke such a sensation.
After all, the last time he felt such danger was when facing someone well beyond his level so it doesn't count.
So, feeling emboldened by the challenge, Lorien decided to face the danger head-on, rather than rely on his [Dream] ability to evade it.
With a smile appearing on his face, he locked eyes with Gojo and laughed.
"You're the first person at the same level as me who can make me feel true danger! Come on, then! Let's see which is stronger: Physical Mass or Laws and Rules!"
With that, Lorien didn't hesitate any longer as he raised his sword in front of him and declared.
"Dream and Reality: Erasure!"
"Reality: The attacks must collide!"
Upon seeing Lorien's determined stance, a joyful laugh escaped Gojo's lips, his excitement mirroring his opponent's.
"Come on then!"
*Swish*
In a split second, a torrent of intangible mass surged forward, bearing the power to remove its target from reality and instantly erase everything in its path.
Moreover, the speed of this attack was nothing short of phenomenal, even outpacing the reverse cursed technique [Red], which is frankly a truly surprising feat considering how it was portrayed in the original timeline.
However, Lorien didn't have time to think about this as with a swift and powerful motion, he brandished his sword, releasing a colossal slash of vibrant, multicolored source energy that roared towards the oncoming attack.
Moreover, this was no mere slash as it was imbued with the abilities Lorien had previously declared.
After all, though he couldn't directly influence objects he doesn't touch, he could still exert his power through his energy as a medium.
Racing toward one another like unstoppable forces of nature, Gojo's attack, a swirling mass of deep purple energy, threatened to consume everything in its path, while Lorien's dream-like, multicolored slash seemed to defy the very fabric of reality itself.
Right now, the collision of these two attacks was imminent, and the results were unpredictable, even the casters themselves weren't sure of what is going to happen.
.
.
Meanwhile, on the edge of the forest near Jujutsu High, Principal Masamichi Yaga and a group of sorcerers gathered, their eyes locked on the distant confrontation.
The atmosphere among them was thick with tension as even from their vantage point, they could feel the immense energy radiating from the dueling powers.
"Damn it! What's going on!"
