"Let's move in then..."

Gaining a clearer view of the situation and making their decision, the two didn't waste any more time as they began walking slowly towards the battlefield.

Despite the world-shattering spectacle before them, neither Makima nor Kishibe appeared phased, seemingly not caring about their own well-being.

For Kishibe, the man had already endured much in his life as a devil hunter, and he no longer feared death.

Frankly, he had already faced everything squarely.

Ever since becoming a devil hunter, Kishibe had been prepared for death in the line of duty, and as long as it was for a worthy cause, he wouldn't really mind.

As for Makima, possessing a contract that granted her virtually infinite revival, she wasn't particularly concerned about her own survival.

Moreover, possessing formidable mental capacity and endurance, she remained remarkably calm even in the face of this situation.

However, unbeknownst to her, despite her abilities, she was actually the most likely to die if she were to enter the battlefield.

After all, if Lorien decided to kill her and consume her Laws, no amount of revival would be enough to save her.

Not to mention that the Will of the World was well aware of this and would probably not allow her to get close to Lorien.

Yet, right now, she knew none of this as she continued walking towards the battlefield, oblivious to the potential consequences.

*Step*

*Step*

*Step*

Taking their first steps on the scorched land, both Makima and Kishibe couldn't help but stop for a moment and tap their feet on the ground.

*Cling*

*Cling*

Hearing this noise, Kishibe paused for a moment before suddenly stomping harder on the ground, causing cracks to appear, following a glass-like breaking sound.

*Crack*

*Crack*

Hearing this noise and feeling the strong resistance coming from the ground, Kishibe couldn't help but look around, a serious expression appearing on his face.

Wherever he looked, it was a clear plain with no obstacles in sight; In his perception, there were simply no signs of any prior civilization in this place.

"The ground under our feet has solidified into a glass-like texture, but it maintains remarkable strength." Kishibe observed

"It seems that their clash caused everything to turn into power, and subsequently, the pressure, heat, and other forces caused it to solidify and temper." Makima continued the observation.

"The forces exerted here are beyond anything we've encountered; There's no way we can resist any of it, so we better be more cautious from now on."

"We'll remain at a safe distance where the aftermath won't reach us, we only need to gather information, nothing else."

However, as they focused on gathering more information and observing the battlefield, they remained unaware that the moment they entered the 19-kilometer range, Lorien detected their presence immediately.

After all, even though Lorien's domain was suppressed to only a 4-kilometer radius, this didn't mean that his divine sense was affected.

This also implies that the world can only restrict how far Lorien can influence his surroundings; it cannot affect his perception in any way.

Ultimately, the suppression of his Dream Realm to such a level was due to external factors and the world's suppression, rather than any problem in his own power.

So, if the world's suppression were to be lifted, Lorien's domain would promptly expand back to its former range.

"Hmmm?"

"Someone actually has the audacity to approach this area."

"That's one way to suicide I guess."

"And as some senior would say: Junior! Do you have a death wish?!"

Curious as to who has such guts, Lorien swiftly turned his gaze towards them, his eyes narrowing slowly.

"Oh.."

"These two are..."

From the moment his eyes fell upon them, It only took Lorien a moment or so to determine who they were.

After all, their appearance, characteristics, and the aura they exuded were quite distinctive.

Not to mention that as a man of culture and a connoisseur, Lorien's ability to identify Waifus was only rivaled by his power to warp reality.

Mainly, Lorien was particularly intrigued by Makima as a *Cough* 'character' when he watched the anime.

However, unlike before, what drew Lorien's attention now wasn't Makima's appearance, but rather the laws she embodied.

"The [Control] Law, quite high in the spectrum, and it is also complete, not a fragment." Lorien remarked.

Looking at this Law and glancing back at the Dream Tree at the center of his realm, still gestating the [Dream/Reality Law], temptation couldn't help but stir within him.

"The previously absorbed Laws pushed this seed to the tipping point; If I were to rob and absorb the [Control] Law, it should be enough to let me reach the Law Stage officially."

As Lorien entertained the idea, the temptation within his heart intensified, his emotions serving as the only barrier preventing him from taking action immediately.

"Should I just..."

It's just that before Lorien could make his decision, the lightning cloud above him suddenly churned violently.

Then, before anyone could react, a scarlet lightning bolt plummeted from the sky, landing right in front of Makima's feet.

Additionally, following this 'warning', both Makima and Kishibe felt a powerful force locking onto them, as if it were about to strangle them at any moment.

It seems that Lorien wasn't the only one who had noticed the intruders and the potential consequences of their arrival.

After all, this entire situation stemmed from Lorien's actions, essentially acting as a thief by robbing the world of its control over some of its Laws.

Hence, witnessing another bearer of authority wanting to go in, the world reacted violently, unwilling to witness another lamb willingly enter the wolf's den.

To the world, Makima's presence here was akin to free food delivery.

So, rather than letting her get swallowed, it is better to kill her and let her be revived safely in hell.

The previous warning was essentially her final opportunity, for if she refuses to return, she'll be promptly killed.

Witnessing this scene, Lorien, who had been pondering his next move, found himself unable to contain his laughter, causing his voice to reverberate across the battlefield.

"HAHAHAH!"

"What?"

"Are you afraid?"
