Chapter 3

The three of them made an odd trio. Adam was a raver, not the type of person Liam usually associated with. Brody was too Hollywood, too smooth—everything Liam would never be able to attain. A medical student with little life beyond school, Liam knew his roommates thought him nerdy, or dorky, or square. Why they’d want to hang out with him beyond these four walls they shared was a mystery.

Maybe if he ignored them, they’d go away. Close the door to his room, leave him in the dark, let him get some sleep…

But Adam grabbed his feet and started to pull Liam off the end of the bed.

“Hey!” Liam cried. “I said I’m not going—”

“We heard you.” Brody grabbed Liam’s arms before he could fall to the floor.
