Chapter 1

I check my clock to see the time. It's 7:15am, and I could really use a bath. I freshen up and wipe my face, thinking about the dream I had, strange. "Akira.. Akira, come and have your breakfast dear." I hear my mom calling from downstairs. I go to the dining hall, "Are you ready for school?" Mom asks, "Yeah, all set and done." I grab myself a seat and mom puts sandwich on the plate and it tastes awesome, I could eat it all day but that's not how it works. What? I felt a shiver run down my spine. "Another day of highschool, huh champ?" "Damn right dad!" My dad comes to eat all dressed up for work, "You need me to drive you to school?" He asked after taking a seat, "I already told didn't I dad? I don't want you to drive me to school." He seemed confused, "I didn't ask you before kiddo. This is your first day of second year and I wanted to drive you." Wait what?! "Dad, enough with the joke" I try to laugh but he was serious, "You are serious?" "Yeah, I just wanted to drive you to..." I interrupt him, "No. I mean the day, is it really the first day of my second year?!"

"Yeah. Did you forget?"He replied, I quickly run upstairs, "Eat your breakfast dear" "I will be back!" I shout back at mom as I climb the stairs as fast as I can. I grab the digital clock to see the date... impossible, it really was the first day. If my mind was playing tricks on me this is too far, I slap myself, "Oww!" Damn, it hurts. So this is real huh? Wait.. I check my notes... nothing...just blank notes. This is the first time something like this has happened, well not really but, this is the first time I'm aware of it. Ok calm down..Hmmm...what am I supposed to do?! "Akira have your breakfast already." Oh yeah, I should do that. I go downstairs and eat the sandwich in a hurry, "I'm going to go now or I'll be late!" I put on my bag, tie my shoes and slam the door behind me. I put the earphones and listen to music. So it really is the first day of school, this is really confusing.

I run, not slowing down, I feel like I'm forgetting something. I turn the corner, Woah! I was surprised to see a man walking, if it weren't for my reflexes I would have hit him. "Hey mister hori, good morning" I wave my hand as I run , "Running to school again kiddo? Keep it up." Oh yeah it's Tuesday, so he went to the shrine. Damn this is unbelievable. I reach the usual spot were we meet.

"You're late." TP says while standing there. "How am I late?" "You were supposed to arrive about 10 minutes before. Mashi and kuro have left already." He answers. Today's the ceremony huh? I thought of regular school time. What do I say here? "Um..Because of the ceremony?" "Bingo!" He replies. So it is like a restart huh? But if it is a restart then what went wrong? Am I supposed to do something about this whole thing, "Hey, Akira! Are you coming?" I  found myself zoned out, "Yeah, I'm coming."

We reach the school, it clearly shows that it's the ceremony. A lot of students are outside, happy to see their friends after the vacation, this is truly a restart. I meet up with the guys and high five, first bump, hugs and whatnot, doing what I already had done. This is quite an interesting thing that's happening.
