Lookism: The Peak

A life and a half spent delving in the martial arts. A life of gang violence, a life of crime? Nahhhh, you're probably overthinking it. Anyway, waking up in Korea looking younger than normal was something Lev Adler didn't quite expect, especially after he got fed to the fish. As before though, a journey to the absolute top was in order. ======== It's a Lookism fic with Viral Hit/How to Fight mixed in a way that the timelines end up mingling with each other.

Seoul, South Korea,

Club Vivi,

Lev POV,

Lev walked at a rather slow pace, a small smile etched across his face that looked more condescending than anything as he silently looked around the nightclub. It was certainly a thing of wonder, perhaps he hadn't been to any so he thought as such but still.

Loud music, people dancing and cheering all around on the dance floor while some sat on the round chairs set up in the corners. Overhead he could see a second floor, with a balcony type structure overlooking everything that went on down below, possibly for the management staff of the place.

The bouncers who noticed him only steered clear, the fact that he looked like he was 20 something aside, Lev was still 18 years old and as such, legally allowed to enter the place. On top of that, the engraved badge on his person pretty much screamed to all those in the know that he was a bigshot here.

He walked up to the counter and looked at the lady serving with a slightly wider smile, having spent much of his life delving in martial arts, he was rather estranged and isolated from the whole concept of sexual attraction but still, she was quite the sight to behold.

Another thing he had noted was that all people here were extremely good looking... discrimination based on appearance was a very real thing in this nation from what he could see.

"You got any tequila?" Lev asked with a small smile earning a small shy nod... It appeared that he himself was fairly underestimating his own attractiveness.

The girl poured some tequila in a small glass before placing it near him, slightly trembling.

Lev picked it up, gulping it down in a single motion as he stared up at the balcony. A tall Chinese man with braided hair was staring directly at him with rather empty eyes.

"Lev Adler?" A woman asked sternly, appearing next to him out of seemingly nothing.

"Who wants to know?" Lev asked looking over at the woman before slightly whistling, she was certainly attractive. "Answer the question." She grabbed him by the collar, clearly not intending to play nice.

Lev's eyes widened for a moment before,

A very distinct slap rang across the counter, startling the people near them for a moment.

"Who do you think you are?" He asked, staring down at her expressionlessly, who gave her permission to touch him?

"Yo-"

"Shut up." Lev quickly cut her off, a woman of all things had dared to do something like that. He was just minding his own business.

The woman's eyes widened in surprise before her face started turning red in anger... only to stop short the next moment, losing all will to fight back.

Why?

"You died just now."

Lev muttered, his right foot resting on her shoulder right against her head. Her hair which was previously tied up was now loose from the small torrent of wind that resulted from him stopping his kick short.

Before he could do anything more however, he was picked up by his collar and placed to the side. "Sowol Jin, you might be one of the 2nd affiliate executives but you've no authority to attack him." A tall man with dark skin and hair fashioned in an afro stated calmly, he was wearing a school uniform though his figure was taller than everyone there by a good few heads. His body was also excessively broad, exuding raw physical power.

"What a boor." Lev sighed, shaking his head in disappointment, he wanted to roughen the girl up a bit. "Eugene requests your presence." The man didn't seem to care about Lev's remarks.

"Yeah yeah, I gotchu." Lev waved his hand sighing as the man took off walking. Lev recognised him of course, Mandeok Bang, a monster of a man with immense physical strength and his boss' right hand man.

With that, the two made their way through a number of people leaving behind a rather shocked Sowol who was rubbing her cheek, glaring at Lev's back as she did... She would have him pay for that... catching her off guard like that...hmph.

"Meooow... (Whore...)." Lily followed behind her owner with a smug air about her.

In a rather plain room with a high ceiling and couches arranged along the walls, a rather short young man with glasses could be seen sipping some tea. Eugene had finally decided to start moving to the big leagues and for that he required the strongest of his subordinates, Lev was among his trump cards.

Someone he judged to be on the level of the Action Leader, a notorious fighter from the old days where fighters of immense power just ran rampant.

The door to the room opened and in walked Mandeok, Lev following behind. As soon as he noticed Eugene, a big smile formed on his face, "Yoo, how you been kid? Judging from what I see, you did pretty good!" Lev was now fairly enthusiastic, taking a hold of Eugene's hand and shaking it.

"Welcome back to Korea, Lev." Eugene smiled widely, the man hadn't changed one bit. Excited one moment, enraged another and calm as a monk the next... That was Lev.

"People here discriminate a lot though." Lev sat down near him, folding his legs as he took a more relaxed posture.

"The world isn't fair. You should know that best of all." Eugene calmly replied, signalling Mandeok to keep watch as he conversed with his old 'friend'.

"Well then, welcome to Workers, Lev Adler." Eugene smiled once more, it was always nice to see his power increase and with Lev, chances of betrayal were close to none so long as he was paid properly.

"So then, what do you want me to do?" Lev asked slightly, tilting his head, at that moment, it felt as if the temperature had dropped by a few degrees but then again, Eugene expected that much.

They had met some time ago in another nation and Eugene knew that the man that sat near him had no qualms about ripping people limb from limb. Combined with the physical prowess he had and the loyalty he offered, there was no way Eugene couldn't add him to his ranks. It was a fact that he wouldn't change sides even if offered a sum greater than what Eugene was giving him, something about honour.

Eugene leaned forward and tapped the table with a rather dangerous smile, "This place's owners, force them out and... it's yours." The third affiliate was under Chinese leadership that refused to be completely loyal to him and as such, with Lev's arrival, they were no longer a necessity for his Empire.

"Oh that's all?" Lev laughed banging his hand on his own leg, "You want the commie chinks gone?"

"I assure you their race has no-."

"No need to explain yourself man. I wouldn't trust the chinks too."

"....." Eugene heaved a sigh before standing up, "5 minutes, 5 minutes and then you're free to let loose."
