Asagi called Kaname outside, I wanted to hear what they were talking about but Asagi said it was "boy stuff" so I decided to change out of the clothes I was wearing.

Outside with Kaname and Asagi

"What exactly happened Asagi?" Kaname gets Asagi to explain what had happened once more.

"Miss Saya had never made it here, according to the driver she had passed out with an extremely high fever."

"A fever?"

"Yes, she's been emitted into the hospital and the doctors are running a series of tests."

"Can we go see her?"

"The doctor had said that a nurse that can in contact with her had a fever not long after"

"Okay, whatever you do, don't let Karma know just yet"

"Why not sir?"

"She won't be able to take it especially with some stuff going on with her and Kami. Please don't tell her yet"

"As you wish but what should I say when she asks?"

"Tell her that she went on a business trip to expand the company"

"Alright sir"

Kaname and Asagi hear a knock.

"Can I open the door now?"

"Sure"

"So what's happening?"

"Lady Saya has gone on a trip to expand the business"

"Really I thought she was sick"

"It was just a migraine don't worry but we don't know when she'll be back so I might need to stay longer than a week"

"We" I correct Kaname, "if you stay so will I"

"Karma you just said you'd take care of the war you can't stay here plus powers don't always work here"

"So you expect me to leave you here in a mansion while I go back home to my psycho sister?"

"Yea you're right, she'll kill you if I'm not around," Kaname closes his eyes for a second, "Asagi how well do know the shinigami business?"

"Not well sir but there are some maids who specialize in shinigami areas"

"I'd like to get to know all of them, could you tell them to be downstairs for dinner?"

"Of course, sir"

"Thank you" Asagi turns around and makes his way downstairs. I take my phone out of my back pocket and dial Mom's number. Kaname takes it out of my hand.

"Hey!"

"Sorry but Mom said not to call her for a bit"

"I at least want to make sure she's okay"

"I checked with her earlier and she said she was okay"

"Okay but I wanna talk to her later and gimme my phone" I take my phone back from Kaname. He peers over my shoulder as I open my conversation with Rei. "Can I help you?"

"Nah I'm good but that reminds me of what you were saying earlier about Rei"

"Yeah, that she's trying to inherit either the company or the war but with you choosing the companies and me taking the war-"

"Wait you're really gonna take on the war?"

"Well if you drop the companies Kami will take them and they'll be out of reach for me"

"Karma you don't need to take on the war you know"

"Well you can't do it and Kami shouldn't so who's gonna do it?" Kaname stays silent for a minute, I look him waiting for an answer, "Exactly" I open my messages with Rei and check up on her, losing a shinigami can affect a person's mental heater drastically. I needed to make sure she was okay especially since she was so close with hers, he was all she had left thanks to this war.

"Kar-"

"Save it Kaname, I'm doing this so nobody will endure the same or even worse than what we endured with Kami,"

"You're replacing your brain with your heart, you know what Kami is capable of. You're gonna break."

"I'll take on the weight of the world if it means that Kami will never get her hands on this war, you know Father made a deal with the god of death for this it is not Kami's playground"

"I wouldn't stop but I might not be able to help you either"

"Don't worry, I'll just do some training with Gem when we get back"

"Sinn will help too,"

"Now now Kaname, if you can't help why can I, huh?" Sinn appears from behind Kaname.

"I thought you went back to the shinigami world?"

"I did but hearing my name brought me back"

"Help Karma out would ya"

"I would but I'd kill her"

"I'd never allow that Sinn" Gem appears from behind me, she looked really angry. That really scared me because she never shows emotion. "If you kill Karma, I won't hesitate to kill you"

"Thank you, Gem and Sinn will you help me? I don't mind you injuring me but I don't want you to kill me, I can't die yet."

"Karma, why?"

"I need to do this to get strong enough to take on the war, what do you say Sinn?"

"I accept the terms" Sine gave me a devilish smile.

"Behave yourself Sine and Karma you can start tomorrow, I'll be at the office though."

"You don't need my help?"

"You're dead set on taking on the war so for the time being, I'll check out the office and see what I can find"
