Second Meeting

"Okay, Gem I think I can grasp the idea of both of them did"

"Are you sure?"

"Well I have the idea, I just need to practice. Sinn, I need you to attack me"

"Took you long enough, I've been waiting for this"

Sinn came charging at me, I got on my tiptoes and extended my leg which teleported him behind me. I then extended my leg to hit him in the jaw and tilted backward to do a handstand.

"How was that Gem?"

"Pretty good but you should practice some turns"

"Alright" I practice some attitude turns when I hear footsteps, I stop mid-turn and extend my leg in the direction of the footsteps but this time it doesn't work. "A one-trick pony I see" I sigh and point in the direction of the footsteps.

"Owwww"

"Natsu?"

"Hey mystery girl, looks like you were right when you said we'd meet again soon"

"I only said that because I thought I'd see you on the battlefield. Wait what are you doing out here?"

"I was going home, my ankles healed a bit thanks to our medical team"

"Our medical team?"

"Yeah, you know the medical team that helps you QPs"

"Wait you're not a QP?"

"No I have no powers sadly but I'm really good at medical stuff"

"What were you doing out there with no powers?"

"I got curious and went exploring then I ran into a girl with short white hair, she almost killed me but luckily I got away."

"You should be careful going out there, you should have some sort of protection"

"This guy is a real dunce," Sinn says laughing I glare at him.

"Hey what're you looking at?"

"Uhh"

"Hahaha you're caught"

"I saw you dancing out here are you a performer"

"Not really I just started"

"That's so cool, I would love to see you perform one day"

"Thanks, um what does your family think about you being powerless but still in the war? If I can ask that."

"Oh my mom gets really worried she was so terrified when HQ notified her."

"Do have any brothers or sister?"

"None I know of"

"What does your dad think?"

"I've never met him myself but my mom says that he was a great guy"

I think to myself I don't think he's my brother but I can't overlook him.

"Do you need any help getting home?"

"I could use the company, come along with me"

"We're really taking this idiot home? Damn I wanted to fight some more"

"We'll continue later"

"What?" Natsu looks at in confusion, "who are you talking to?"

"Uhh" I try to come up with an excuse but nothing comes to me. I look at Sinn who just keeps laughing then Gem who shrugs and shakes her head.

"It must be your guardian angel, I never understood why you QPs are so secretive about them. Every time I ask I always get the same response you just gave me."

"Yeah, if you don't mind me asking what do you think about shinigami?"

"Between me and you, I think they're pretty cool plus the powers they possess is absolutely amazing. Although I don't like the war that's going on, I think the shinigami should just give longer life spans to the people that deserve it most."

"Sinn is right, this boy isn't very smart. Doesn't he know we are gods of death?"

"You've got such a pure heart Natsu"

"Thanks, what do you think about the shinigami and you never gave me your name"

"I love shinigami of all kinds, I don't like that war either but one day I'm going to decide the outcome of it."

"That would so cool if you could decide that"

"I know right"

"Um hey if you don't mind do you think I could have you're number?"

"M-my number?"

"Yeah since the day you helped me I've been asking about you but all I can describe is your appearance and nobody seems to know what I'm talking about. I'd love to talk to you some more and we're almost at my house so could I?"

"Yeah, hand me your phone" Natsu gives me his phone I put in my number and put the contact name as Miss Mystery. I hand Natsu back his phone.

"Awww I was hoping to get your actual name but your number is cool too. Can I contact you anytime?"

"Yeah, of course" My phone starts to ring, I take it out of my tights pocket and see Asagi is calling. "Sorry Natsu, I have to go. Talk to you later?"

"Yeah" Natsu says with a smile, I wave to him and answer my phone.

"Lady Karma, where are you?"

"I'm almost back, I just met with a friend on my way back"

"Alright, lunch is almost ready so please hurry,"

"Okay Asagi" I hang up the phone and make my way back.

"Ooh, a boyfriend what would Kaname think?" Sinn smirks and laughs.

"He's not my boyfriend, I don't plan on dating anyone till I find my brother"

"Oh so this is something I can tell Kaname"

"Come to my room before dinner and I'll give you some apples"

"You might just be my favourite human you know, giving me apples for absolutely nothing"

I roll my eyes and look at Gem "Would you like anything?"

"Not really"

When I get back I apologize to Asagi for losing track of time and have lunch.
