Hestia

After giving my consent to Miss Eina, she immediately went to inform the Goddess Hestia.

Some of you may wonder why I am using these honorifics while calling the names.

This is a habit of mine from another world, and it looks like it passed on to me as well.

With that, Miss Eina told me to wait.

She said that since Goddess Hestia always visits the guild at noon, she would visit today as well.

And while waiting for Goddess Hestia, I started learning about the dungeon from the guides Miss Eina prepared.

And it looks like she really prepared a lot.

Seeing me looking at the guides she prepared, Miss Eina had a satisfied expression on her face.

It looks like she likes hard-working, serious people.

But none of them is essential to me right now since our short goddess is finally here.

I need to remind you that I have been living in this world for 13 years of time, and I have seen many gods and goddesses.

Every god and goddess has their own unique auras; some of them have elegant auras, while some of them have intimidating auras.

However, Hestia's aura is quite different from other gods or goddesses.

She has a motherly aura around her. Even though she is short and she doesn't look like an adult at first glance, she has this unique aura that makes you get warmed to her very easily.

As most of you already know, Hestia is one of the five children of Kronos in Greek mythology, and she is the Goddess of family, architecture, and heart.

And from the aura she gives, she is certainly the goddess of family.

Even though she is short, she has developed well in the case of proportions, and since the clothes she is wearing right now are a bit revealing, it is very hard to hold back one's gaze.

Aside from the portions, she is really beautiful.

Although I watched the anime and saw her on the screen, the real one can't even compare to the screen one.

Her hair was done in the style of twin tails, and her beautiful blue eyes make you feel lost in them; she is by far the most beautiful person I have ever seen.

However, it is rude to look at someone you don't know, so I immediately averted my gaze from her and saw her becoming a bit awkward.

"Well, as you can see, Wayne, this is Goddess Hestia. Goddess Hestia, this is Wayne, the person who applied to join your family."

Miss Eina introduced her to me and me to her.

Since the gods have the ability to discern any lies, it would be logical for her to ask me this question. Even though she is a bit childish, she is certainly not a stupid person.

And I decided to answer her honestly.

"Well, I am not comfortable with crowds, and I am also a bit of a loner type. So I thought that it would be better to join a familia with few members. After eliminating the other familias for different reasons, I came across your familia on the list. Since I hadn't heard anything about your familia, I asked Miss Eina about you. She said you are a good person aside from being a bit childish, so I decided it would be better to join a familia with one good person than a big familia with many jackals. So here I am. That was my reason."

I answered her honestly, aside from the fact that I knew her from the anime. But since I couldn't say that even if I wanted to, so I think that doesn't count as a lie.

Seeing my honest expression and honest remarks, she had a faint blush on her face.

"Childish. He said I was childish."

"Huh, did you say something?"

I think I heard something. Was that Hestia?

After that, I extended my hands toward her and said:

"Nice to meet you, Goddess Hestia. I am Wayne Jervain. Thank you for accepting me into your familia. I hope we get along in the future."

After seeing my greeting and my extended hand, she looked at me first, and seeing my smile; she smiled as well.

After that, she took the hand I extended and shook it while saying;

"Nice to meet you too, Wayne. I, too, thank you for joining my familia as my first member. I hope we get along in the future as well."

With that, we started leaving the guild building, but not before informing Miss Eina.

"Ah, did you decide whether you will join the Hestia familia or not?"

She asked me my decision.

"Yes, I have decided. I will join the Hestia Familia. I think I will be happy with this decision."

I answered back, but from her knowing expression, it looked like she already knew I would join the Hestia familia.

"Yes, somehow, I expected that. Then what about you, Lady Hestia? Is everything okay from your side too?"

"Yes, I am okay with this decision as well since I interviewed him and asked him some of the questions on my mind. I think I don't have any problem with Wayne joining my familia. And well, I don't have much choice either, don't I."

"Well, if both of you are okay with this, it is not my place to intervene. Then please fill out these forms after you receive your falna with Goddess Hestia. Congratulations to both of you, and I hope everything goes well for you as well."

With that, I managed to join the Hestia Familia and got my first step on my adventurer life.
