Hitman for Hire?

[Oh my gosh! He's so cute but scary at the same time! And he's in a bunny hoodie too!]

[He's like the least scary, scary villain I've seen!]

[Bro the way he just dropped like - HeLLO!]

[Is it just me or is the villain actually making a lot of sense?]

[I mean, he is right. The hero society and HPSC these days isn't what it used to be anymore. A lot of heroes are a bit fucked up.]

[Shh! The two above me better keep quiet or else the HPSC would lock you up for slander! I'm not even kidding. That really happened. You could look up some articles. Unless the HPSC hid those too.]

[Damn. That's messed up.]

[Well, someone had to say it. Not me though cuz I still want to keep my life, thank you very much.]

[Is he a new villain? I've never seen footage or heard about him before.]

[Does anyone know his name or his quirk?]

[He's totally Bunny, right? And his quirk probably has something to do with metal manipulation since both of his attacks are connected to metal.(The metal spike and the scissor)]

[I never thought weilding a giant scissor would've looked cool at all!]

[All points aside, does anyone know how he just dropped from the sky?]

Shisei honestly didn't know what to think when he saw a video of one of his employees killing two heroes. And he definitely still didn't know what to think when the said employee barged into his office to drop off a plastic bag containing two freshly cut heads on his table.

"I already brought back Hotaru-san safely and got rid of the heroes who chased after them. Apparently, they had just been caught up in a crack down for the gangs in the area and were mistaken to be part of them. But, just in case, I still suggest you to change your organization's uniform." Mikumo said seriously and left the office as soon as he finished what he had to say, leaving his boss alone with two decapitated heads. "I've already repaid the favor from earlier. Goodnight."

"..." Shisei stared blankly at his table. "What in the world have I brought to my base?"

...

As the morning fully arrived, bathing the city of Naruhata in its brilliant light, a certain vigilante by the name of Stendhal watched a video on his phone with rapt attention.

"Seriously. What the fuck is wrong with the hero society?"

A young boy, no- a child. Stendhal never thought a child that young could command such presence and such viciousness in his voice. Just what had society done to corrupt him so much?

"First, a hero goes on rampage and kills hundreds of civilians, just for the shit HPSC to cover it up like nothing happened and now, this?! Heroes attacking people just because they happened to be wearing the wrong clothes at the wrong place at the wrong time?!"

Stendhal clenched his fist around the phone, gritting his teeth in indignation and fury. This messed up society has taken down far too many. How can no one else see such blatant corruption when even a child is making a stand against it?!

Someone must stand up against it all! And Stendhal will make sure to be one of the first to do so.

Even if he had to be labeled a villain.

"Heroes?"

Stendhal stared at the boy in a bunny hoodie proclaim his stand fearlessly.

"Heroes my ass."

And Stendhal couldn't even deny the sickening glee he felt upon the death of two fake heroes.

Serves them right for desecrating the real meaning of being a hero.

Determinedly dialling a number, he didn't even have to wait long for it to be picked up.

"I'm heading to Esuha City. This is the last time I'll be contacting you. The next time we meet will be as enemies."

"Wait, you can't just-"

Then, he hung up.

...

"What the hell?! Why'd your kill count suddenly increase to seven?!"

It was already late in the afternoon when Mikumo woke up, feeling so tired and mentally drained after a long night that not even the two cups of coffee he downed helped.

"I picked up a package this morning but the goods was damaged so I killed the delivery men." Mikumo muttered as he rubbed the bridge of his nose, nodding at Haruse in greeting as the winged man smiled at him nervously.

"What?" Kaguna was extremely confused. Was this some kind of inside joke that he wasn't aware of?

"By the way, isn't Haruse-san's shift aligned with Hotaru-san's? Why is he still working in the weekends?" Somehow, Mikumo was starting to miss the taste of tobacco on his tongue. Maybe he'll go out to buy some after work.

"Oh! Haruse-kun isn't actually supposed to work with me but, my previous partner died last week so he's temporarily filling up the spot since we haven't found a replacement yet." Kaguna rubbed his shoulders. The body ache from the day before still hadn't improved. It seemed that the pain killers he bought didn't help at all.

"Oh. I see."

"Yo, my fellows! What's happenin'?" Barging into the room loudly, as always, Shisei comfortably plopped himself onto a couch.

"Morning, boss. Me and Mikumo here were just talking." Kaguna greeted calmly as Mikumo nodded.

"Are you guys like, friends now?" Shisei raised a curious eyebrow, only just realizing how he irresponsibly left the two in a dangerous situation before.

Though, in his defense, something more troublesome came up which caused him to forget.

"Not really. More like 5 am backdoor buddies." Kaguna shrugged, making Mikumo cough in amusement.

"What?" Surely, there must be an inside joke going on here.

"Nothing."

"Oh well, that aside, Kumo-chan! I hooked you up with a regular supply of Wish from Shin-chan." Shisei leaned on top of the table, winking at Mikumo humorously. "It went much easier than I thought but, Shin-chan said he was already aware of your situation and figured you'd end up asking him for it sooner or later."

"Stop making me owe you more favors." Mikumo scowled. He had just gotten done repaying the previous favor. How come there's already another one?!

"It's not me this time! Shin-chan actually offered to send you the supply in exchange for your services. Whatever that means." Shisei stuck out his tongue. "He said you'd understand."

"Oh. Okay." Mikumo nodded. "Regular commissions."

Was Dreamcloud planning on hiring him as a hitman every once in a while?

Backstage Act:

Shisei: Why did you give me two heads?

Mikumo: Merry Christmas.

Shisei: ...Thanks?
