“Cam, we have one thing in common,” Raul started as they sat down with their food. “I, too, graduated from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.”
“I wasn’t aware of that, Raul.” Cam smiled at him. “When I was there women still had to attend classes at Radcliffe College. We had to get special permission to attend the Harvard classes. A lot has changed since then.”
“Indeed it has. But Harvard and Radcliffe have always been one and the same in reality, have they not? I was there many years before you, I think, but it made a big impression on this young man from the mountains of South America. And that is one of the reasons I have asked for all of you to come here. I learned a lot living in your country and I have been watching it closely ever since.” He stopped and looked from face to face.
“I’m sure Mr. Roberson or Dr. Nance has told you that we have to be a bit surreptitious with our plans. I’m not sure who’s doing it but plans have been leaking into the wrong hands.”
