27 Home

Vincent held me tightly in his embrace. I felt so safe and warm in his arms. How longed I waited to feel his touch on my head, feel his breath on my neck, feel his kiss on my lips. Everything I went through to get to him again was worth it. I would do it repeatedly if I knew this is where I would end up.

Aaron walked over to both of us and placed his hand on my head and on Vincent's shoulder, "I'm happy to see you both together again. I can tell by the way you hold one other, you missed each other a lot."

The butler nodded in response to Aaron "Yes, they are quite an amazing couple" he smiled.

Vincent looked over at Aaron before looking down to meet my eyes "I missed him a lot, more than I ever have." he stated and kissed my forehead gently. I gave a small smile; feeling special just by hearing those words. Aaron looked over at me "Let's head back to my place and get you both out of the cold." he suggested. We all agreed to leave before the sun woke up. We traced back our steps until we were back by my old home. I stared at the building that looked like It would crumble any minute. It was so old and not taken care of properly that vines grew on the sides of the house.

I could hear Aaron call out to me, "You guys coming?" he asked. I turned to see him and the butler about to get in the car. I was quiet as I looked back at the old home. Vincent's voice muttered in my ear "What's wrong, love?"

I gently grabbed ahold of Vincent's hand and kissed it before looking up at him "I have to do something important." I explained and let go of Vincent's hand before walking up the old broken porch stairs. I could hear creaks on the wooden boards below me as I approached the door. I pulled a small string that was hanging behind the mailbox and a key fell down. I remember when mother forgot her keys and had to use the hidden key. I am glad it's still there. I picked the key up and used it to unlock the door quietly. As soon as the door opened a thick smell rushed into my nose. It was disgusting. It stunk so bad that I was second-guessing about going inside.

Vincent walked to my side and placed his head on my shoulder "Sky, what are you doing? What is this place?" he asked. I looked over at him "It's hell" I responded before walking inside the house. Molded food was everywhere, alcohol bottles filled the floors, cigarettes were all over the couch and floor as well. The place was trashed and looked terrible inside and out. I did my best to walk over everything until I found the door that led to my parent's room. I didn't know if he would still be asleep in here but I tried, anyway. I slowly opened the door which made a loud creaking sound that echoed. The man in the bed slowly sat up and rubbed his eyes. As he moved, bottles and cans of beer fell off his bed.

The man stared at me and his eyes looked terrified but he quickly hid his fear. I stood there quietly waited for his reply. He moved over to the side of his bed and stood up "Hello there, son. Never thought I would see you again. How did everything go at the auction? Did anyone even want you?" He asked. His words filled me with anger but I had to keep my cool. I walked away and went into the kitchen, searching the drawers until I found what I wanted. I turned the gas stove on. He followed me and stared "What the hell are you doing? You want a place to stay, huh? Well, clean up this shit and you can live here," he said. I glared over at him as I slowly approached him, "Shut the fuck up bastard, I ain't doing anything for your lazy ass. I came to give you something." I replied with anger but felt guilty for using such words. Vincent wouldn't approve of my language but I was too frustrated.

"How dare you speak to your father that way in that tone!" He came in with his hand as if he was about to slap me but I grabbed his arm before he could "You're not my father" I replied quickly. Anger filled his eyes as he tried to use his other hand but I ducted in time. I kicked him in the stomach and watched him as he fell down. He held his stomach and grunted in pain. His pain filled my eyes with joy. I've never been so happy to see someone in pain. I walked to the kitchen and grabbed a knife from the sink. I slowly inched towards him and watched as his eyes went wide in fear "You don't need to do this, son. Listen, I love you. You know that right? Please don't do this..." his voice trembled.

"You hurt me, my mom, my boyfriend... You did terrible things to each of us... You even lie about everything. You expect me to forgive you?" I chuckle softly as I pushed him down and stepped on his stomach. He glared at me from the ground "You'll go to jail. I've been there, and it changes a man. You will die there," he argued. I bent down and pushed my knife against his cheek, drawing blood, "Unlike you, Jason, I won't lie. I promised you I would kill you and that is what I'm here to do," I said as I placed the knife to his throat. "Please don't! I don't wanna die!!" he screamed, and it only made me happier. Aaron came rushing in and stared at me and the man on the ground. Aaron slowly approached the both of us, "help me!" the man yelled. I glared at Aaron "Stay back!"

Aaron didn't listen and continued to move closer "Sky... I know this man is cruel. I know he has done terrible things to you and the people you care about but if you do this, you will regret it. You're so young Sky, please don't throw away your life. You'll be separated from Vincent again. You don't want to lose him, do you? Killing him would make you just as bad or even worse than him" Aaron replied. Aaron was right, I would go to jail and never see Vincent again but I want to kill this bastard so bad... I pulled the knife away from his neck and stabbed it through his hand. The man screamed as he stared at the knife stuck in his hand. I got off of the guy and pulled out the thing I found before a match. I lit it and threw it on the ground and watched the fire spread quickly. I grabbed Aaron and ran out of the door.

"Holy Shit..." Aaron mutter under his breath and then looked at me "let's go" he said as he helped to the car. I got in and sat in the backseat with Vincent. I looked out the window and watched as the house went up in flames. I smiled happily.
