About an hour after we opened the shop, the first customer came. Probably out of curiosity about the unique aroma coming from the shop.
From his appearance, this first customer did not seem to be from a noble family.
"Welcome to Le Réseau, please see our products." Selvi welcomes our first prospective buyers.
"I am curious because I smell very unique aroma from here, what are you selling." He asked

Selvi just kept smiling hearing that person's words and he kept checking all the prices and spices there.
I decided to sell all the spices at the same price that I sold to Dyana before.
The price of black pepper, cinnamon, cloves and new product, anise star are 4 silver coins per 50 grams, while the price of vanilla is 5 silver coins per 10 grams.
The price of sugar is 8 silver coins per 50 grams, while the price of salt is 1 silver coin per 500 grams.
For vanilla perfume, the price is 2 gold coins per bottle (100ml) while the other perfume is 1 gold coin per bottle.
Another new product which is wine glass I gave the price of 10 gold coins a piece, while the price of silk fabrics is 2 coins per meter.
This is the power of monopoly, as long as only you have the product, you can set prices as you wish. I love capitalism!
I might increase the price if there are other traders who want to buy it from me, this is to make sure the products that I sell it myself will have a cheaper price so people will remember it.
Our first buyer approached the counter where we were.
"I bought 1 kg of salt and 100 grams of black pepper." Then Selvi weighs the order and the he pays it. I didn't think he would buy black pepper even though this is the first time he see it. Well, hopefully he can use it and recommend my shop to his neighbors.
Not long after that people started coming to the shop and many also immediately left because seeing the price of merchandise here is very expensive. It seems to attract attention with the aroma of spices was effective. There are some people who wear attractive and neat clothes, they seem to be servants of noble families.
Someone that looked like a butler approached us after seeing the spices.
"Give me 1 kg of black pepper and can you explain how to use the others?" the butler asked
Because in each spice I have written its name, I immediately explained it.
"All these spices can be used to add flavor and aroma to food, like for soup and meat dishes. Besides that you can also use cinnamon, cloves and star anise to make unique warm wine, we used to call it vin chaude. You only need to add the spices and tangerine to the wine, heat it and let the wine simmer for at least 15 minutes or up to 3 hours with small fire., if you want to make it sweeter you can add this sugar or honey. As for vanilla, you can add it to milk and cakes. " I explained briefly to him.
"I just found out there are other ingredients that can add sweetness other than honey." He said after tasting the sugar sample I gave.
"Give me 2 kg each of these spices, except salt and vanilla. And one of that glass, I'll buy it again later if my master want it. So keep the glass cup. " He said.
